Thus. What gap is sought from this? Even if the Victorious One seeks, it cannot be found. What else is sought apart from this? The very seeking becomes exhausting. The other or inferior gates, For the Dharma-nature without Samadhi, It is a mistake to insert grasping Samadhi. Whatever is practiced in those, Like inserting a fine needle into the sky. Like threading a very fine thread into the sky. What a child can do, A strong person cannot do. The sky practiced by a strong person, The needle cannot contain the sky. Therefore, it is not to be shown to others. If shown, the child will be confused. The reality of Dharma-nature like the sky, Is accomplished by the sun of clarity and emptiness. The thread of blessing light, Appears like an illusion, obtaining a sign. The unmoving, signless, self-nature reality, Unseen by the unborn mind, Appears as a game to entice children. The mind-essence of great accomplishment, Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, naturally arises. How to visualize and transform? All the great meanings of accomplishment are complete. If the mind sees the nature of mind, So-called accomplishments arise from that. Who gives, and who receives? The giver and the act of giving are not seen. For example, water and mirror, Sky and sword, crystal, etc., In the self-nature that makes it clear, Clarity is seen by looking at the stainless, etc. It is the self-nature of water, etc. There is no great wonder in that. The clear water of mind is like the sky, If there is no turbidity from the clouds of affliction, The sun, moon, and stars of accomplishment will shine. Unobstructed blessings will naturally arise. The essence of the ground-of-all sky, Is deeply piled up by the clouds of affliction, Unless scattered by the wind of wisdom, Like a potter whipping, Wishing to clear obscurations and reveal Dharma-nature, Like wetting a child with water. When the sun is obscured by clouds, and the shadow, Becomes very obscured, For the mass of gathered great clouds, Blowing with the breath of the mouth, It is like wanting to clear the clouds and reveal the sunlight. Therefore, the Lord of Yoga, Discriminating the meaning of mind-essence, Should know the root of the ground-of-all. The mind-essence is clear when looked upon, Whatever is possessed by the root, Even if it becomes time, seasons, and years, It will produce branches, leaves, and fruits. The seed of the root will not disappear. How do the yogis who combine, Forcefully.

The accomplishment of having characteristics, if one desires to obtain it with the mind of a child, it will also please through characteristics. For example, the nature of fire, which burns the earth and forests, appears as the truth of existence from non-existence, from the truth of the assembly of causes. Likewise, the yoga of characteristics, desiring to obtain the magical power of characteristics, from the assembly of causes of characteristics, appears as the characteristic that pleases characteristics. In the extremely numerous star-like Buddha-fields, greatly practicing the conduct of enlightenment, by focusing greatly on the meaning of the holy ones, one quickly obtains the supreme secret wisdom of accomplishment. In characteristics, with the nature of non-discrimination, understanding the profound and great meaning, deciding with the definitive meaning, and having faith in the meaning of equality. Just as in the sky, merely as words, naturally uttering the expresser, being free from the terms and names of expression, like a mirage in a dry land, it is non-existent in its appearance. Likewise, the nature of all phenomena is clear, and in its clarity, it is not perceived. The path of great skillful means and profound wisdom, has transcended the narrow pass of characteristics free from elaboration. Because it is vast and boundless, it is separated from the two paths, the path of equality where the middle and extremes are not perceived. Having understood it as one in equality, being free from the mind that seeks without an object, having abandoned the extremes of acceptance and rejection, one abides in a manner without abiding. Because it is one taste in the realm of Dharma-nature, Knowing and the object of knowledge are both non-existent. If one knows the Dharma as the innate knowing itself, why seek the Dharma-nature elsewhere? For example, the happiness and suffering of illusion, after eliminating them, both are not perceived. Likewise, the happiness and suffering of the changing cycle of existence, are equal in nature and equal in meaning. Just as all times, after realizing them as equal in nature, if one does not follow the words and phrases, how can one perceive the changing times as equal? Because the sky is naturally without form, it does not become an object to be grasped. Because the mind is unborn, the meaning cannot be measured. After distinguishing between faults and virtues, abandoning the meaning of both, and establishing the meaning in the equality of nature, it is merely called meditation. Because the view of duality is unborn, whatever dualistic thoughts arise, they are naturally pacified without being obstructed. The unborn, pure Bodhicitta is naturally clear in meaning, equal to the wisdom mind that does not abide. From the difference between awareness and ignorance, the basis and connection of cyclic existence and liberation appear. Because there is no conceptual thought, it is peaceful.
