Arising from actions. If one knows that memory is a fault, Then one eliminates the faults of actions. With that power, one does not fall into the second desire realm. From what do actions arise? They arise from feelings. There is no purifying and generating. If one knows feelings to be illusory, Then one clears away the faulty feelings. One does not fall into the third desire realm. From what do feelings arise? They arise from the arising of inner and outer feelings. There is no purifying and generating. If one knows that to be a fault, Then with the power of knowing that way, One does not fall into the fourth desire realm. From what does the arising of feelings arise? It arises from the dharmas of the mind, If one thoroughly knows the mind to be illusory, Then the dharmas of the mind become peaceful. The aggregates are like reflections, The mind is like a mirage. Freed from the extremes of existence and non-existence. The yogi who knows that way, Does not fall into the fifth desire realm. Not regarding the mind as an existing thing, Nor regarding it as non-existent, One does not fall into heresy. Not becoming dull and obscured, One does not fall into unconsciousness. Not following after perception, One does not wander in the realm of sentient beings. By familiarizing oneself with the meaning of the base of all, One does not fall into the state of a Hearer. Not making it empty and peaceful, One does not fall into the view of a Solitary Realizer. Not making it purely empty, One does not fall into the conduct of a Bodhisattva. In the meaning of equality and emptiness, Not distinguishing individual differences, One does not fall into the stages of the ground, Nor is there gradual training and increase. The nature of the true meaning, Does not abide in or take anything, Nor does one see or hear anything. One does not do anything, free from doing. There is not even a speck of hearing, That which does not appear in any way, That is the supreme appearance. The nature of the inconceivable dharma, Is placed as it is by the inconceivable. In the nature of the selflessness of dharmas, With the strength of mind in an instant, One should constantly remember without wavering. When one is thus absorbed in the meaning, Then the experience of signs arises in this way. Heat, signs, miracles, And direct perception and wisdom arise. Heat is movement and attainment, A sign is arising and stability, A miracle is arising and completion, All subtle knowledge becomes clear. Thereby all meanings are perfected. Like darkness clearing away

Me. Appearance arises with the sky, Seeing all and all clear. With the power of knowing thus, All the darkness of imprints is dispelled, Like the wind sweeping away clouds, With a moment's samadhi, Will sweep away the heap of obscurations. As a lamp dispels darkness, Darkness itself turns into light, By understanding the meaning of a moment, Eliminate the darkness accumulated from before. Thus, a wise person, Opens the door of wisdom to meaning, Possessing the eye of Dharma, Combines seeing and hearing into four-line verses. Being wise, he acts on the meaning. If one does not possess the eye of Dharma, With endless words, No matter what names of meaning are spoken, One cannot discern the meaning of right and wrong. Following words blindly, like a fool, Is a place of learning and a wrong path. Even if a hundred thousand meanings of words are spoken, Do not show them to others. If you show them, you become a vajra-word thief, You will fall into the vajra hell. Those who are pretenders, Without opening the power of wisdom to the meaning, Only guided by words and letters, Teaching the Dharma unknowingly, Is heavier than taking the lives of all sentient beings, Teaching the Dharma unknowingly is even more serious. Therefore, in this meaning of equality, If you can adapt and enter all at once, Then whether the duration of meditation is long or short, Whether there is karmic connection or not, And the thought of when it will be accomplished will not remain. If you abide in the meaning of equality, Then wisdom will immediately arise. If you do not deviate from the meaning of equality, Then you will not fall into the realm of form. If you do not cling to equality, Then you will not fall into the formless realm. Because of realizing equality, Then you will not fall into the Hearer's ground. If you see the meaning of nothingness, Then it is called Buddha. Therefore, this special samadhi, The yogi should practice familiarizing with it. Everything is non-conceptual, unborn, Beyond the limits of thought, the realm of space. Thus, unwavering, equality, The conceptualization of signs transcends objects. From the nature of objectless space, The Bodhicitta of great compassion, A thousand suns rise in a mandala. Pervading all phenomena of signs. From the essence of the blazing sun, Rays of light manifest as the supreme letters. The letter A (藏文ཨ,梵文天城体अ,梵文罗马拟音A,汉语字面意思无), from which everything arises, From the nature of being able to transform into anything, All the miraculous manifestations arise. That is also the root.
