It is said to be yoga. It is not seeing the reality beyond cause and effect. The distinction of profound yoga is fourfold: the Bodhi mind without acceptance or rejection is said to be the yoga of a Bodhisattva. That Bodhi mind that transcends effort is said to be the great yoga. That Bodhi mind that transcends cause and effect is said to be perfect yoga. Because it transcends the imputation of "is" and "is not," I say it is profound yoga. These three, such as perfect yoga, because they do not possess the greatness of self-arisen wisdom, they walk on the path and practice on the ground. Because they keep vows and observe conduct, there is no fast or slow pace, and no view or action. Therefore, the view and action of profound yoga, because it is originally done by the All-Creating itself, does not walk on the path and does not practice on the ground. It does not keep vows, and does not practice view. Because everything arises from the path of great Bodhi, Bodhi itself does not go to Bodhi itself. Because there is no better place to go than Bodhi itself, Bodhi itself does not practice Bodhi itself. Because the nature of vows is Bodhi itself, Bodhi itself does not keep Bodhi itself. Because the nature of meditation is Bodhi itself, Bodhi itself does not meditate on itself. Because the object of view is Bodhi itself, Bodhi itself does not look at itself. Therefore, this inaction view and action of profound yoga, which has the fast and slow pace of self-arisen wisdom, is the pace of me, the All-Creating King. It is not the object of practice of those with the vehicle of cause and effect. Thus it was said. From the Mind of Enlightenment, the All-Creating King, the eighth chapter, which arranges all the realms of Dharma-nature from the nature of Dharma-nature. Then, the Mind of Enlightenment, the All-Creating King, spoke of these deviations and obscurations from the Great Perfection due to the mistaken path of the vehicle of cause and effect. O Great Bodhisattva! This very nature of the Mind of Enlightenment is the essence of all Dharmas without exception. Because it is unborn and completely pure, there is no obscuration. Because it is separated from the path of going, there is no deviation. Because it is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, there is nothing to seek. The essence of all Dharmas is one in the Mind of Enlightenment. Deviation and obscuration arise because of making various distinctions in the one.

Going where there is no going, mistakes arise. Looking where there is nothing to see, obscurations arise. In suchness, where all is one, desiring future results from causal actions, desiring to attain the ten perfections and ten bhumis, one is mistaken and obscured for three kalpas. Even if one's vows and samayas of the five enlightenments and the limbs of miraculous powers are purified in the three ways of purifying inner and outer thoughts, one is mistaken and obscured for seven lifetimes. Engaging in causes and looking for results, seeing view and action as separate, in non-duality, one obscures and errs for three lifetimes. Engaging in acceptance and rejection on the one essence, by not seeing as one but seeing as two, one is mistaken and obscured until acceptance and rejection are inseparable. Meditating on the three 'is' on the one self-arisen, the prophecies say one has strayed from the effortless teachings. In all phenomena that appear and exist, without realizing their essence as suchness, because of looking at the realms and wisdom, cause and effect, due to imputing to the cause and slandering the result, one is obscured until one has faith, free from imputation and slander. The six ways of desiring a non-existent result are: obtaining through the two truths on the cause, obtaining the result through the three actions of speech, desiring to obtain through separate view and action, desiring to obtain through engaging in acceptance and rejection, desiring to obtain through meditating on the three awarenesses, and desiring to obtain by looking at the cause and effect, the realm itself, and wisdom. These are the six ways of definitely obtaining what one desires. Six mistakes and six obscurations, because of the fault of obscuration and error from bodhicitta, please clearly explain the faults and virtues of the six definite attainments. Discrimination and analysis are also places of error and obscuration. Grasping and being grasped are also said to be places of error. View and action are also said to be places of error. View, action, acceptance, rejection, effort, accomplishment, cause, and effect are transcended. In effortless great bliss, all are mistaken and obscured. Bodhicitta is like the sky. In the nature of mind, which is like the sky, there is no meditation through view, no vows to keep, no activity to seek, no obscuration of wisdom, no ground to train on, and no path to traverse. There is no subtle dharma, no duality, no connection. There is no definitive teaching to establish from the mind. Because it transcends imputation and slander, there is no instruction to repeat. This is the view of Dzogchen Bodhicitta.
