Thus, the Acharya: When one makes offerings while living at home, at that time, towards the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, one becomes disrespectful, thus it is. Consecrations of temples and the like, those with signs should always perform. If there are three in one place, then it is not done by a householder with white clothes, thus it is. Thus, after thoroughly examining the Acharya in various ways, the master and disciples spoken of by the Bhagavan should be relied upon, and the previously stated certainty is for the sake of abandoning those with faults. Similarly, it is also said in the qualities, as follows: Stable, gentle, and possessing wisdom, possessing patience, upright, and without deceit, knowing the union of mantra and tantra, possessing compassion and being skilled in treatises, knowing those ten completely, being skilled in the work of inquiring about mandalas, the Acharya who expounds secret mantras, that Acharya, possessing the nature of the first, subduing the powerful, and so on. However, if one asks why the words spoken by other verses are not analyzed, the words such as "one who has obtained the supreme empowerment" should be understood by the wise through the ultimate truth and the conventional truth, that is, through the definitive and interpretable meanings. Among these, for the time being, the definitive meaning will be explained: here, the best of the vase empowerment, secret empowerment, and wisdom-gnosis empowerment, the Great Seal, the Perfection of Wisdom, the last moment of unchanging great bliss, the uninterrupted nature of manifest complete enlightenment, that is what the Bhagavan obtained under the Bodhi tree, that is the one who has obtained the supreme empowerment. Whoever, for what reason, that is, because body, speech, and mind are inseparable, therefore, the Vajra Acharya, that is, the Tathagata Shakyamuni. In these three realms, for the sake of sentient beings, whoever's body, speech, and mind are inseparable, acting like a Vajra, that is the Vajra Acharya, the universally departed, the all-knowing one. To that one, also, the Tathagata. Those who dwell in the ten directions of the world, etc., here, in the ten directions, the crowns of all the Bodhisattvas, the nature of the seven jewels, that is, in the definitive meaning, called the world, on those crowns, the Tathagata.

Those who abide by the nature of the lineage seal are the abiders of the ten directions of the world realms. Those Bodhisattvas also come in the three times and prostrate to the Buddha Bhagavan. When they prostrate, the Tathagatas and skandhas abiding in the crown will also prostrate to the Tathagata, which is the definitive meaning of the Bhagavan. Similarly, after careful analysis, the provisional meaning should be explained. Here, because it is said that "just like the external environment, there are various kinds in the body," the word "world realm" refers to the bodies of the disciples who abide in the ten directions, and the bottom refers to those who abide in the houses on the ground. The top refers to those who abide in the three-story buildings and so on. The five skandhas abide in them, which is called the Tathagata. Thus, they are the abiders of the world realm. Those disciples also come in three sessions and prostrate to the Lama, and when they prostrate, the five skandhas will also prostrate to the Lama, which is the provisional meaning. Here, the monks who hold the ochre robe should prostrate to the Vajra Acharya in the three times. For lay people and novices, it is not like this except for teaching the Dharma. For example: In order to avoid worldly reproach, the Dharma and so on are placed in front, and those who hold vows prostrate with wisdom to lay people or novices. Similarly, abandoning inferior actions and prostrations, laying out seats and standing up, and serving offerings and so on here, all of this should be done by those who hold vows. Here, if lay people or novices are also the same as the Vajra Acharya of the monks, then what should be done at that time? Abandoning inferior actions, such as washing feet, etc., and prostrations with five limbs, when the Lama comes to his own residence, offerings should be made with wealth and so on. At the time of teaching, in order to avoid worldly reproach, the Dharma and so on should be placed in front, and then prostrations should be made. Here, worldly reproach refers to the fact that whether they are lay people or novices, they do not hold higher signs because of laziness, and therefore they have not heard and fully understood the Pratimoksha.
