Thoroughly mix the gains from the days and nights of the mandala, and then purify the feet of the sun with the previously mentioned ritual. In the root tantra, it is said that the days and nights, hours, moments, breaths, and the ultimate enjoyment of the wheel of the zodiacal houses of the solar mandala are as follows: Multiply one year by space, time, and fire. Multiply the two positions by the two below. Divide by sixty-five, and give the result as wealth to the upper heap. Again, multiply the remainder by sixty. The share obtained is also below that. Through the enjoyment of the solar mandala, the result is the hours of each day. Again, multiply by sixty to get moments, and multiply by six to become breaths. This enjoyment is of the sun, combined with constellations, hours, etc. After passing, again in each day and night, give until the passing occurs. Purify the feet of the sun with the ritual of the spoken action. By other means, the sun is never pure. If the enjoyment of the sun is not pure, then Mars, etc., which purify this, are like a tree with damaged roots. Here, the clarity itself does not change. By enjoying the wheel of the zodiacal houses, next, the mandala of the moon is to be explained. The hours of the wheel are the hours of the sun. After mixing the enjoyment of the moon, obtain the enjoyment of the moon with a share of thirty. It becomes the hours of each day and night.
