也称为能作守护的陀罗尼。也称为随心自在的陀罗尼。也称为能迅速超越上位地的陀罗尼。应当如是受持。世尊，具寿阿难陀向佛禀告说：世尊，这位菩萨摩诃萨叫什么名字？如何才能善于开示这样的陀罗尼？世尊开示说：善男子，这位菩萨的名字也叫观世音自在。也叫不空绢索。也叫具千光眼。善男子，这位菩萨观世音自在的名号、威光和威力是不可思议的。从过去无量劫之前就已经成佛，名号为如来应正等觉正法光明。但因大悲心和愿力的缘故，为了利益有情而示现菩萨之身。因此，你们和梵天、帝释天、天人、龙等众多菩萨摩诃萨眷属，应当恭敬尊重，不要轻慢。诸天和世人应当恒常供养，若能一心称念其名号，就能获得无量福德，无量罪业得以清净，命终之后也能往生到阿弥陀佛的刹土。世尊开示说：阿难陀，如果想要变得富有，拥有各种珍宝，就应当供养如意宝珠之手。如果受到各种不适的困扰，就应当供养持绢索之手。如果腹中有疾病，就应当供养持宝钵之手。如果想要调伏一切邪魔外道，就应当供养持宝剑之手。如果想要调伏一切天魔，就应当供养持金刚杵之手。如果想要摧伏他方怨敌，就应当供养持金刚锤之手。如果身处一切恐怖畏惧之处,

It is also called the Dharani that protects. It is also called the Dharani that is free to follow the mind. It is also called the Dharani that quickly transcends the higher grounds. It should be held in this way. The Venerable Ananda said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, what is the name of this Bodhisattva Mahasattva? How can one be skilled in teaching such a Dharani? The Blessed One said: Son of good family, this Bodhisattva is also called Avalokiteśvara. It is also called Amoghapāśa. It is also called the one with a thousand radiant eyes. Son of good family, the name, glory, and power of this Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara are inconceivable. From immeasurable kalpas ago, he has already attained complete enlightenment and become a Buddha, and his name is Tathagata Samyaksambuddha Righteous Dharma Light. However, due to great compassion and the power of aspiration, he manifests the body of a Bodhisattva in order to bring happiness to sentient beings. Therefore, you and the many Bodhisattva Mahasattva retinues, including Brahma, Indra, gods, and nagas, should respectfully honor him and not despise him. All gods and humans should constantly make offerings to him. If one single-mindedly recites his name, one will obtain immeasurable merit, immeasurable sins will be purified, and after death, one will be reborn in the Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha. The Blessed One said: Ananda, if you want to become wealthy and possess various treasures, you should make offerings to the hand holding the wish-fulfilling jewel. If you are afflicted by various discomforts, you should make offerings to the hand holding the noose. If you have diseases in your stomach, you should make offerings to the hand holding the precious bowl. If you want to subdue all demons and heretics, you should make offerings to the hand holding the precious sword. If you want to subdue all the sons of the gods, you should make offerings to the hand holding the vajra.
