Wherever you go, if you wish to create a boundary, recite the mantra seven times over clean water or clean ashes. Wherever you go, first sprinkle a handful of water or ashes on your own body, and then sprinkle it in the four directions according to the Dharma. This will accomplish the boundary. If any son or daughter of good family is afflicted by evil spirits, demons, or many perverse influences, take a branch of a Nepalese apple tree and a branch of a willow tree from a shady place. Recite this vidya-mantra and strike the patient with it. No matter what the illness, there will be no failure to recover. Furthermore, in this very life, you will be able to avoid losing the sense of taste in the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, etc., and all diseases of the body will also be completely purified. Past karma and sins will also be purified. If a drought occurs, mix sesame seeds with the oil of Emblica fruit, make them into balls, recite the mantra one hundred and eight times, and throw them into a pond, and the sky will rain. If there is too much rain, mix rice flour with rapeseed oil, make them into balls, recite the mantra one hundred and eight times, and throw them into a small pond, and the rain in the sky will stop.
