That is, press all five fingers together, palms down, on the right knee. This is similar to the hand seal of cessation and absorption. All Buddhas of the past, future, and present attain perfect enlightenment with this same hand seal. Therefore, this hand seal eliminates all karmic obscurations. Yogis who meditate, if samadhi has not yet manifested, can go to a secluded place within seven parasols, recite this dharani, make this hand seal, and with one-pointed mind, visualize the Buddhas appearing before them. If they confess six times a day within the time of one parasol, the Buddhas will also appear, and they will obtain a great accumulation of merit, immeasurable, incalculable, and indescribable. Furthermore, the bodhisattva with a thousand eyes, this is the hand seal for summoning the gods of the Thirty-Three Heavens: First, make a fist with the four fingers of the left hand. Then, with the right hand, make a fist as if holding the thumb of the left hand. Extend the tip of the left thumb above the fist of the right hand, and move the index fingers of the right hand back and forth. The mantra is as follows: Om Kuci Kuci Kuci Yari Tsari Tsari Tsarile Svaha. This dharani hand seal and mantra are inconceivable. Whether it is a son or daughter of good family, when going to bed, make this hand seal, recite this mantra once, and make the hand seal on the heart once, for a total of one hundred and eight times, whatever they desire in their heart will appear in their dreams. Whoever constantly makes this hand seal and recites this mantra, all sins will be purified, and the mind of enlightenment will not degenerate. When that person sleeps at night, their dreams will become vast and auspicious. In their dreams, they will see the Tathagata sitting under the Bodhi tree, being prophesied, and even attaining perfect and complete enlightenment. They will also see Brahma and Indra.

If in any country there are bad omens and plagues, causing many people to die, then collect one thousand and eight lotuses from the king's gardens and ponds, recite the mantra once for each lotus, and then throw them into the fire and burn them, the plague will quickly subside.
