以水和各种鲜花普遍散布，广作供养后，瑜伽士和画师，若能在绘于一伞之上，过去、现在、未来三时之佛像前忏悔罪过，在圆满二十一日之夜，从千手千眼之画像中，发出巨大光芒，压倒日月之光辉，以光明无碍照耀十方三千大千世界之边际，凡是瑜伽士和画师，以及被光明触及之众生，所有极重罪障，一时消融清净。行此仪轨者，唯除不专心致志。菩萨观自在又如是禀告道：我于往昔之时，见如来遍观亦示现千手千眼，降伏大魔，世尊，如今我也示现千手千眼，降伏大魔。彼等千只手，亦各别化现为转轮圣王，于贤劫千年中行转轮圣王之事。彼等千只眼，亦各别化现为如来，与贤劫千佛相等。世尊，此菩萨之身，于降魔之中最为殊胜。尔后，世尊告菩萨观自在：善哉善哉！我亦以加持力，直至劫尽，加持汝之母陀罗尼。菩萨观自在无碍大悲广大圆满陀罗尼，第三卷。此后，菩萨观自在听闻世尊赞叹后，心生欢喜。

Having widely spread water and various flowers and made extensive offerings, if the yogi and the painter confess their faults before the image painted on a single umbrella, depicting the Buddhas of the three times, then on the night of the completion of twenty-one days, a great light will arise from the image painted with a thousand hands and a thousand eyes, suppressing the light of the sun and moon, and the light will illuminate without obstruction the boundaries of the ten directions, the three thousand great thousand worlds, and all that is without limit. All the yogis and painters, and all sentient beings touched by the light, will have all their extremely heavy sins dissolved and purified at once. Whoever performs this ritual, except for those who do not concentrate their minds. The Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara then spoke again, saying: In the past, I saw the Tathagata Vipaśyin also show these thousand hands and thousand eyes and subdue the great demons. O Bhagavan, now I also show these thousand hands and thousand eyes and subdue the great demons. Those thousand hands will each manifest as a universal monarch, and will perform the deeds of a universal monarch for a thousand kalpas of the fortunate aeon. Those thousand eyes will each manifest as a Tathagata, and will appear equal to the thousand Buddhas of the fortunate aeon. O Bhagavan, this body of the Bodhisattva is the most excellent among those who subdue demons. Then the Bhagavan said to the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara: Well done, well done! I will also, by the power of blessing, bless this dharani of your mother until the end of the kalpa. The Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara's unobstructed great compassion, the greatly complete dharani, volume three. Thereafter, the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara, having heard the praise of the Bhagavan, was exceedingly pleased.
