何時生活用度皆豐饒，花朵繁茂等等時，知曉圓滿豐盛之時，那時亦可繪製壇城。何時因弟子之承事供養，諸上師皆歡喜，彼時彼手持我者，為灌頂之故而繪製壇城。日月為羅睺所食，出現巨大異相之時，於神變月之時，應當努力繪製壇城。早晨增長生起，中午行猛厲之事，傍晚寂靜，具慧者依儀軌繪製壇城。所有壇城，從太陽漸漸西沉開始，直至太陽未升起前，供養後祈請諸佛菩薩返回本位，是為吉祥。特殊之儀軌，應如實宣說諸佛之時。否則儀軌有所缺失之故，將不會成就悉地。具慧者不應於白晝繪製共同壇城。若於白晝繪製，則於彼等之中，將會感受痛苦。從傍晚開始至午夜，是為行猛厲之事。夜晚若超過時間，將會產生諸多過失。夜晚最為寂靜之故，一般而言是應當嚮往的。誓言等等之事業，因此應當於夜晚開始。太陽西沉時，諸佛菩薩必定以加持力降臨。其他亦會特別地，給予加持。以儀軌迎請之秘密真言，以及諸佛菩薩亦於太陽西沉時，因樂於饒益之故，於壇城中，必定給予加持。以真實寂靜之心，於時間與數量寂靜之時，以真言迎請，將會獲得心中所想之悉地。木星與月亮，以及巴巴桑和太陽吉祥之時，對於其他極為猛厲之事業，應當全部開始。勝、障、薩迦，以及火四、黑曜、尾宿星，以及婁宿等三薩迦，對於壇城極為吉祥。彼等以及其他寂靜，諸星宿吉祥之時，具慧者應繪製壇城。猛厲之事則繪製猛厲壇城。降伏、尊勝、勝利，以及明亮、紅色、具財，以及善女、水天、梵天，以及彼等、吉祥、遍入天，以及生主和尾宿星。

Whenever the gurus are pleased by the service and offerings of the disciples, at that time, for the sake of empowerment, draw the mandala by the one who holds me in their hand. When the sun and moon are eclipsed by Rahu, and great and strange omens appear, during the month of miracles, one should diligently draw the mandala. In the morning, generate increase; at noon, engage in wrathful activities; in the evening, pacify, and the wise should draw the mandala according to the ritual. All mandalas, starting from when the sun gradually sets, until the sun has not yet risen, after offering, it is auspicious to request the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to return to their abodes. The special ritual should be explained according to the time of the deities. Otherwise, because the ritual is deficient, siddhis will not arise. The wise should never draw a common mandala during the day. If drawn during the day, then among them, suffering will be experienced. Starting from dusk until midnight, it is for engaging in wrathful activities. If the night exceeds the time, many faults will arise. Because the night is most peaceful, in general, it should be desired. Activities such as vows, therefore, should begin at night. When the sun sets, the deities will definitely gather with blessings. Others will also especially give blessings. The secret mantras invited by the ritual, and the deities also, when the sun sets, because they are pleased to benefit, in the mandala, they will definitely give blessings. With a true and peaceful mind, at a time when time and numbers are peaceful, inviting with mantras, one will obtain the desired siddhi.
