（对）已逝者如此禀告道：世尊，以何种甘露合剂来讲述那些邪见的秘密之处，是精进、威力、压伏他者最为强大的。我也将为了明咒的成就，向如来请问以何种方式明咒能够成就，以及以何种方式不能成就。之后，世尊对大梵天如此说道：大梵天，你为了利益一切有情而请问，能够成就和不能成就，向如来请问是很好的。大梵天，我将为你讲述明咒能够成就和不能成就的原因。凡是进入不应进入之处，以及大梵天，凡是摧毁和诽谤明咒的，那么明咒就不会成就。凡是做不悦意之事，或者具有罪恶的本性，或者说谎，或者断绝明咒，或者用橛钉刺击的，那么明咒也不会成就。梵天，凡是完全受持菩提心者，甚至连心中也不应向其他天神顶礼。祈请世尊，确实如此。世尊开示道：善男子或善女子，凡是受持菩提心者，如果向其他天神顶礼，因为不是完全受持菩提心，所以那个天神不会信任他，因此他也不能成就明咒。凡是使之进入畜生道者，以及捉蛇者，以及砍草者，那么明咒也不会成就。凡是用脚触碰莲花和殊胜之物者，那么明咒也不会成就。梵天，我已经简要地指出了什么情况下明咒不会成就。之后，娑婆世界的怙主向世尊如此禀告道：世尊，诸佛世尊如此慈悲地示现了使有情众生能够轻易成就的处所。之后，世尊对梵天如此说道：梵天，哪些

Thus he spoke to the departed one: "O Blessed One, explaining these secret places of those with wrong views by means of which nectar mixtures, is of great diligence, power, and subjugation of others. I, too, shall ask the Tathagata for the sake of the accomplishments of the mantras, by what means the mantras are accomplished and by what means they are not accomplished." Then the Blessed One said to the Great Brahma: "Great Brahma, it is good, good that you ask the Tathagata for the sake of benefiting all sentient beings, what will be accomplished and what will not be accomplished. Great Brahma, I shall explain to you the cause of the accomplishment and non-accomplishment of the mantras. The mantra will not be accomplished for whoever enters where one should not enter, and Great Brahma, whoever destroys and reviles the mantra. The mantra will also not be accomplished for whoever does unpleasant deeds or has a sinful nature, or lies, or cuts off the mantra, or strikes with a peg. Brahma, whoever fully upholds the mind of enlightenment should not even in mind bow to other gods. I beseech you, Blessed One, it is so." The Blessed One said: "Son of good family or daughter of good family, whoever fully upholds the mind of enlightenment, if they bow to other gods, because they do not fully uphold the mind of enlightenment, that god does not trust them, therefore they will not accomplish the mantra. The mantra will also not be accomplished for whoever causes them to enter the animal realm, and whoever catches snakes, and whoever cuts grass. The mantra will also not be accomplished for whoever touches lotuses and excellent things with their feet. Brahma, I have briefly indicated in what circumstances the mantra will not be accomplished." Then the lord of the Saha world said to the Blessed One: "O Blessed One, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, are so compassionate in showing the places where sentient beings can easily accomplish things. To make the mantra accomplish, I will show you some ways: Those who love the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, those who possess the path of the ten virtuous actions, those who respect their parents, those who make offerings and show reverence to the mantra, those who uphold the secret mantra, those who do not eat unclean ghost food and food mixed with sesame, and those who treat all sentient beings well, their mantra will be accomplished. Then, the ruler of the Saha world, Brahma, rejoiced, was satisfied, and delighted, greatly rejoiced, touched the ground with his head and prostrated at the feet of the Bhagavan, and said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, I also wish to, in the extensive ritual of Vajrapani, proclaim the secret mantra that protects those who hold the mantra. The Buddha instructed: Great Brahma, speak, speak what you have thought for the benefit of all sentient beings. The Tathagata allows you. Then, the ruler of the Saha world, Brahma, offered the secret mantra to Vajrapani: Namo Ratna Trayaya. (Tibetan: ཨ་ཏི་ནི་ཙ་ཨ་ཤེ་བྷི་ཤ་ཡ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अतिनिच अशेभिशय, Sanskrit Romanization: ati nica aśebhiśaya, Literal Chinese meaning: Extremely base, without remainder.) Mimaca Mye Dañca Ahara Svaha. (Tibetan: མི་མ་ཙ་མྱེ་དཉྩ་ཨཱ་ཧ་ར་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: मिमच म्ये दञ्च आहर स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: mimaca mye dañca āhara svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Do not hesitate, bring it to me, Svaha.) Bhagavan, merely remembering this mantra will liberate one from evil temptations. These are its functions: Protection is done with a thread that has been recited seven times. Consecration and binding of poison are done with water that has been recited one hundred and eight times. Detoxification is done with a branch. Destroying seals is done with water. Subjugation is done with gugul incense or with water. Binding and driving away demons are done with the thumb. Making demons return is done by reciting on the finger and threatening. If you want to control men and women, starting from the first day of the waxing moon, for seven days, three times a day, strike Vajrapani with one thousand and eight flowers, and you will be able to control them. Recite one hundred and eight times over a vase, and then bathe yourself, and you will be freed from all evil temptations. When practicing the mantra, if you want to pacify obstacles, recite it seven times.
