If someone is afflicted by an eye disease, causing damage to the eyeball, or blindness, or blurred vision, or if it is covered by white and red opacities and lacks light, then take one seed each of arura (诃子), barura (毗诃子), and kyuru (余甘子), and grind them finely. When grinding, cleanliness must be maintained, and one should not approach women who have recently given birth, dogs, or pigs. Recite the name of the Tathagata, mix it with white honey and human milk, and apply it to the eyes. The milk must be from a woman who has given birth to a boy; milk from a woman who has given birth to a girl is not suitable. After preparing the medicine, recite the mantra one thousand and eight times in front of a statue with empty eye sockets, apply it to the eyes, and stay in a secluded room protected from the wind for seven days. The eyeball will regenerate, clearing away blue and white opacities, and become bright and clear. If someone is possessed by evil spirits and becomes delirious, recite the mantra twenty-one times over the skin of a tiger, leopard, or wolf, and wear it on the body to recover. If someone is bitten by a snake, take the earwax of the bitten person, recite the mantra twenty-one times, and apply it to the wound to recover. If a malignant boil pierces the heart, leading to imminent death, mix a handful of kapita (诃子) with a full bowl of clean water, boil it down to half a bowl, recite the mantra seven times, and administer it all at once to recover. The medicine should not be boiled near a woman. If someone is possessed by a zombie spirit and becomes chronically ill, recite the mantra twenty-one times over guggul incense, burn it, and fumigate the nose with the smoke. Alternatively, take seven rabbit dung pellets, recite the mantra twenty-one times, and have the patient swallow them to recover, but one must abstain from meat, alcohol, the five types of garlic, and harsh words. Alternatively, recite the mantra twenty-one times over turnips, mustard seeds, and salt, and burn them in front of the patient's bed. The body of the evil spirit will be destroyed, unable to endure, and will flee. If one suffers from hemiplegia, with blocked ears and nose, or is unable to retract the limbs, mix rue with sesame oil.
