All those retinues will be completely liberated, becoming pure, becoming perfect, becoming completely pure, becoming without defilement. Whatever is bathed with water will become bathed with the water of the gods and the water of the limbs of enlightenment. All the defilements of sins and obscurations will be washed away. It will be bathed with water endowed with eight limbs. Whatever is eaten with it will increase the great recollection of the Buddha's wisdom. It will be free from all sorrows, completely abandoning all bonds, and the fragrance of the utpala flower will always emanate from the mouth. Speech will also become gentle and melodious, and speech will also become docile. It will speak pleasant words, and all beings will also be delighted. It will also become the voice of a non-human being (one of the eight classes of gods and demons). All scriptures, detailed rituals, secret mantras, and all Mahayana, will be completely grasped by merely hearing them, and will also be recited. Whatever is smelled of that flower and worn as a garland around the neck will become bound with a garland of flowers of the limbs of enlightenment. It will also be truly empowered by the power of the Tathagata. It will also become purified in various ways, being completely in accordance with the fragrance and touch of the gods. The tongue will become completely pure, like the petals of a lotus flower. It will become a color like the teeth of the gods. Whatever words are spoken to women, men, boys, or girls will always be under control. After death and transmigration, transferring from one life to another, one will be born in the realm of Sukhavati, being born miraculously from a lotus flower. One will also remember past lives. This is the mantra for the complete purification of fruits, flowers, water, the lord of the forest, grass, tree gum, and medicine. Homage to the Three Jewels! Ri śuddhe. Mahāmaṇi ratta kāya pariśuddhe maṇi maṇi śodhani mahā amogha cintāmaṇi śuddhe. Hṛdaya śuddhe. Kāya nirmala mahāmaṇi pariśuddhe. Huru huru pravara pāṇi mahā bhuja varade. Turu turu. Mahāsattva pata sale pariśodhaya mām sarva pāsu viśuddha male svāhā. This vidyā-mantra purifies the body of the vidyā-mantradhara completely. Mix sandalwood water, saffron, musk water, camphor water, mustard seeds, and five kinds of bezoar. Fill a new earthenware pot and recite this vidyā-mantra one thousand and eight times. Wipe the body with a white cloth and drink it seven times. Merely by bathing, the king of wrathful ones will bestow empowerment. Merely by bathing and being empowered, one's own inner and outer self will be completely purified and become immaculate. One will be free from sins, obscurations, and poisons. One will be free from afflictions and diseases. One will be free from aging and so on. One will be completely liberated from all demons, evil spirits, and maras. All yakshas, rakshasas, bhutas, flesh-eaters, and so on will be completely expelled, and they will not be able to return to the presence of the vidyā-mantradhara to cause obstacles. The vidyā-mantradhara will practice in comfort, sleep in comfort, awaken in comfort, and live in comfort until the end of life, abandoning all impurities, seeing all the Tathagatas, and seeing the Bodhisattvas. One will directly see the noble Avalokiteśvara and die at the time of death. One will be born with equal fortune in the realm of Sukhavati. Born miraculously from within a lotus, one will directly see the Tathagata Amitabha. Adorned with all ornaments, the body adorned with marks and signs, one will remember past lives. Until the end of enlightenment, one will go from Buddha-field to Buddha-field. One will completely recite this detailed ritual of the essence of the Amoghapāśa, the mandala of liberation.
