Vāpa is a mixture of warm water and salt. To bring peace to the household, mixing rice and mustard seeds will bring great peace. In all cases, recite twenty-one times. For fights and quarrels, make a mandala with cow dung, scatter flowers, and place four containers filled with perfume, four filled with milk, four containers for offering water, and four bowls. Burn agaru and turuka incense. Recite twenty-one times the guggul incense and burn it. Make offerings of perfume to the Holy Avalokiteśvara, the Lord of Freedom. Recite one hundred and eight times the mustard seeds of the Wrathful King and scatter them in the four directions. Recite ninety-one times the heart essence of the Amoghapāśa, and for fights and quarrels, one will become the supreme speaker. One will be victorious in war. One will be victorious over one's own army and the armies of others, and all four branches. If even Indra himself and the Asuras cannot, what need is there to mention humans? If you want to summon Indra, recite the lotus one hundred and eight times, recite the name of Indra, and offer them one by one to the Holy Avalokiteśvara, the Lord of Freedom, and offer perfume. Recite one hundred and eight times guggul, ghee, and mustard seeds, ignite the fire of the arka tree, and perform a fire offering on the fourteenth day. When the recitation ritual is complete, Indra, the King of the Gods, will come with his army and mount, sit in front, act according to the command, and everything will be under control. Except for the position of Indra, whatever is requested will be given, for that is unbearable to the mind. Press Brahma down with the foot and recite one hundred and eight times, and when one hundred and eight times are complete, Brahma will sit in front in his own form, giving all excellent things. Whatever is desired in the mind will be accomplished. Recite ninety times the guggul incense, fumigate Vishnu, recite twenty-one times water and mustard seeds, and sprinkle them on the crown of the head, Vishnu will sit in front in his own form and accomplish all actions. He will show various forms. He will also give a golden bed, and will possess the power of the great strength of Vishnu.

Fumigate with gugul incense, and after reciting seven times over arka water, pour it out. Then, the form of the Great Lord will move, and a sound saying "Good!" will arise. Then, the Great Lord will appear before you in his own form, and all his retinue of attendants will be under your control. He will bestow all the supreme things you desire. He will bestow all the supreme things you desire. If you wish to summon the Great Black One, recite one hundred and eight times over gugul, and offer blood and alcohol. After reciting twenty-one times over mustard oil, if you sprinkle it on the Great Black One, he will be summoned, and he will do all tasks like a servant, and he will go wherever he is sent. The retinue of attendants will also be under your control. The doors of all the abodes of the yakshas will be opened, and he will do whatever he wishes. Everything will become friendly, and he will do all tasks. Without speaking, if you recite twenty-one times in each of the three divisions of the night, then the deities of the night with their retinues, and the deities who roam at night and those who roam during the day, the nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans, and non-humans, all will be under your control, and they will do all tasks. All will always dwell near before you in their own forms. Immeasurable mansions to be enjoyed at night will be bestowed. With a clean body, wearing clean clothes, having bathed well, speaking truthfully, keeping a loving heart near, and always focusing on all sentient beings with love and great compassion, one should always recite. This is the sequential division of the ritual of recitation. Then, the ritual of fire offering will be explained, which always performs all actions, the four virtues, expanding, fierce conduct, protecting, eliminating all diseases, destroying the north, and controlling. If you wish to protect the home, perform one hundred and eight fire offerings with arka yama firewood, lotus, and mixed mustard oil.
