།མགོ་བོ་ཚལ་པ་བདུན་དུ་འགས། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཚིག །གནོད་སྦྱིན་གང་དག་མི་ཉན་པ། །འབྱུང་པོ་སྲིན་པོ་གང་ཡོད་པ། །ངན་ཕྲེང་ལྷག་པའི་ངན་ཕྲེང་རྣམས། །ལྕགས་ལས་བྱས་པའི་འཁོར་ལོ་ཡི། །མཚོན་ཆ་སྤུ་གྲིའི་སོ་འདྲ་བས། ། གནོད་སྦྱིན་དེ་དག་བརླག་པར་བྱ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་དཔལ་དང་ལྡན། །གོ་ཆ་སྲ་ཞིང་མཚོན་རྣོ་ལ། །སྟན་རྣམས་ལ་ནི་འཁོད་པ་དག །ཤར་ཕྱོགས་ན་ནི་ཡུལ་འཁོར་སྲུང་། །ལྷོ་ཕྱོགས་ན་ནི་འཕགས་སྐྱེས་པོ། །ནུབ་ཕྱོགས་ན་ནི་མིག་མི་བཟང་། །བྱང་ཕྱོགས་ན་ནི་ལུས་ངན་པོ། །དེ་དག་དེ་ན་འཁོད་པ་ཡི། །ཉེ་འཁོར་གནོད་སྦྱིན་འདི་རྣམས་གནས། །སེང་གེའི་གཟུགས་དང་སྟག་གི་གཟུགས། །མི་སྡུག་པ་དག་འགྲོ་ཞིང་རྒྱུ། །གླང་ཆེན་གཟུགས་དང་རྟ་ཡི་གཟུགས། །བོང་བུ་དང་ནི་རྔ་མོ་ཁྱི། །ཆ་ལུགས་གཞན་ཡང་ཉེ་འཁོར་འཁོད། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་སྟོབས་པོ་ཆེ། ། དེ་དག་ཕན་ཚུན་འདུ་བ་ན། །ལྷ་ཡི་ཤིང་རྟ་བཅས་པ་ཡིས། །ནམ་མཁའ་ལས་ནི་འགྲོ་བར་བྱེད། །གནོད་སྦྱིན་དག་གི་བདག་པོ་ཡང་། 也沒有，令人害怕的也沒有。國王們，對我的身體也沒有損害。國王們，我沒有真正見過在世間包括天神、魔、梵天、沙門和婆羅門的眾生，以及包括天神和人類之中，誰會真正想去損害如來、阿羅漢、正等覺的佛陀。國王們，雖然如此，但你們的眷屬卻想損害我的眷屬。這樣說了之後，四位大國王對世尊這樣說道：尊者世尊，我們有請求，為了這個緣故，我們前來瞻仰世尊、禮拜世尊、供養世尊，以及向世尊您稟告。那是為了什麼緣故呢？尊者世尊，在這些寂靜的地方和邊陲的住所，有非常憎恨的夜叉、羅剎、食香、龍、迦樓羅、秘密主、生靈、甕形鬼、餓鬼、惡鬼、食肉鬼、非天、風神、枯竭者、損害者、瘋狂者、人非人、向上行者、遊蕩者、貪求者、作惡者、奪取光輝者、遺忘者、猛烈瘟疫、一日瘟疫、二日瘟疫、三日瘟疫、四日瘟疫，以及人類和非人類，他們心懷憎恨，伺機而動，不思利益，只想加害。尊者世尊的聲聞弟子們也住在那里，世尊的聲聞弟子們日夜不眠，精勤於修行。尊者世尊，從夜叉或羅剎到加害者之間，對世尊的教法懷有信心者，實在是少之又少。那些對世尊的教法沒有信心者，卻是極其眾多。那些人想加害於尊者世尊的聲聞弟子們，因為他們日夜不眠，精勤於修行。

There is also no fear. O great kings, there is no harm to my body. O great kings, I have not truly seen anyone in the world, including gods, demons, Brahma, ascetics, and Brahmins, and among beings including gods and humans, who would truly think of harming the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha. O great kings, although that is so, your retinue thinks of harming my retinue. After saying this, the four great kings said to the Blessed One: Venerable Blessed One, we have a request, and for that reason, we have come to behold the Blessed One, to pay homage to the Blessed One, to make offerings to the Blessed One, and to report to the Blessed One himself. For what reason is that? Venerable Blessed One, in these solitary places and remote dwellings, there are yakshas, rakshasas, gandharvas, nagas, garudas, guhyakas, bhutas, kumbhandas, pretas, pisacas, flesh-eaters, asuras, wind gods, desiccators, injurers, madmen, non-humans, upward-goers, wanderers, desirers, evildoers, glory-snatchers, forgetters, violent plagues, one-day plagues, two-day plagues, three-day plagues, four-day plagues, and humans and non-humans who harbor hatred, seek opportunities, do not think of benefit, but only want to harm. The Blessed One's disciples also dwell there, and the Blessed One's disciples do not sleep day and night, but diligently engage in practice. Venerable Blessed One, from yakshas or rakshasas to those who inflict harm, there are very few who have faith in the Blessed One's teachings. Those who do not have faith in the Blessed One's teachings are very many. Those people think of harming the Blessed One's disciples, because they do not sleep day and night, but diligently engage in practice.

In order to prevent those, in order to make the fierce and unbelieving yakshas generate faith, to make those with faith regenerate faith, to make the fourfold retinue happy and secure, to dwell, in order to completely and thoroughly subdue, therefore, this Great Cool Grove Sutra is preached. Those non-humans with hatred, those who do not believe in the teachings of the Victorious One, I shall prevent them. Great Kings, please listen to me, after hearing this great sutra, do not harm people. Yakshas, Rakshasas, dragons, as well as Garudas and Secret Lords, whatever does not wish to benefit, I shall prevent them all. Gods and Asuras, wind gods, and those beautiful immeasurable palaces filled with goddesses, shining brightly like fire, resembling the form of the sun and moon, made of jewels, extremely bright, filled with the results of good deeds, extremely bright, far from all demons. Whatever harms humans, ghosts, Kumbhandas, Rakshasas, as well as pretas and flesh-eating ghosts, they cannot see the wonderful realms, nor can they enter the cities of the glorious gods. When great ghosts gather, they also cannot freely enter. Whether it is a cushion or water, food and drink are also not free. They can never enter the palaces of evil bodies. The words of the Great Kings, any ghost who does not listen, hot blood will quickly flow from his mouth.
