May it become an image! One will become a vidyadhara of wish-fulfilling jewels, vajras, swords, wheels, or precious gems, and will be able to go to and come to many Buddha-fields. All the nagas will be in harmony. Great rains of various kinds will manifestly fall. Wherever one recites 100,000 times at a naga lake, one will be able to enter the abode of the nagas there. Whatever one desires there, one will obtain. Having entered the Ganges and recited 100,000 times, and after the 100,000 are completely fulfilled, having built a stupa there and made a fire offering with honey, milk, and mustard seeds, all the nagas will come in fear and will do whatever is said. If one makes a fire offering with mustard seeds in a charnel ground, one will act like the chief of the yakshas. To the mountain deity, with a fire offering of sesame oil and sandalwood, or in a forest abode, to a vidyadhara, with a fire offering of honey and long pepper, all will gather, and at all times, merely by remembering, they will accomplish one's commands. A tree whose shade does not touch other trees is a single tree. Next to a single tree, remembering to build a stupa and reciting 100,000 times, and in front of it, making a three-pronged object made of ashvattha wood, staying in fasting day and night, anointing a fish with ghee and making offerings as much as one can, and practicing until it blazes, one will tame the untamable, practice the conduct of a bodhisattva, and become the master of the abundance of the gods of the four continents. Having recited 100,000 times at a stupa with relics, and having taken a wheel or a vajra or a victory banner on a fish, and reciting as long as it flies, one will become a vidyadhara who goes everywhere. Having entered a river and recited 100,000 times, at the base of a stupa made of earth, with fish and so forth, in the place spoken of for days and nights, as in the previous ritual, taking a jewel in one's hand, and reciting until it blazes, one will become a vidyadhara who holds a wish-fulfilling jewel. If one practices, the vase will be filled. Living by begging, and taking an iron vajra in hand, by reciting as long as it takes to show the speech of the past, future, and present, one will manifest whatever Dharma one desires to hear. If one practices on it, it will blaze. Having blazed, the one holding the vajra will enter the vajra family. Just like the vajra, by taking a sword, wheel, iron hook, and scripture in hand and practicing, one will enter the vajra family and become a vidyadhara unhindered in all places. A youth or maiden, having bathed well and adorned with ornaments, first performs the approach, makes offerings as much as possible, and fasting day and night, sits in front of a stupa or a representation of the form, a scripture, a painted image, or other objects, on a spread of kusha grass. Having joined palms to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, one prays. Then one burns sandalwood, camphor, guggul, or turuska on a smokeless torch. If these are not available, one sits in the lotus position, holding them in hand, and recites as long as the youth and maiden blaze, they will blaze intensely and fly up. If one takes them in hand, one will become a vidyadhara together with them. A woman, having bathed well and adorned with ornaments, should recite as long as she becomes a man. On a lion drawn in a charnel ground or made of wood or earth, by reciting as long as it can walk, one will ride on it and go wherever one desires. If one recites daily, the place one goes to will be protected. If one practices day and night, within five, six, eight days, or the remaining half month, one will rise upwards and even conquer the gods. Riding on it, one will go and come wherever one desires.
