Especially abide and make offerings, then offer incense and place it in the center of the wheel. Then, with the right knee on the ground, touching with the buttocks, say these words, requesting to be heard: Mandala, possessing the nature of compassion, with love for the disciples, and also for the sake of offering to you, I ask today. In order to fulfill hopes as they are, for the benefit of sentient beings, may the protector be compassionate and grant grace to me, who am respectful. Thus, say three times, from the place where the vase is prepared, all the Buddhas, protectors of the world, please consider me with love today. The thread divided into twenty-five parts is stretched. East, west, north, and south, with this order of stretching the thread, the mandala is divided into eight parts. Holding half in the hand, begin the line-drawing ritual. The left hand's vajra fist is placed at the navel and held. Do whatever is comfortable below it. The mantra practitioner faces east, and after equally visualizing all directions, in an equal and measured place, draw two Brahma lines. Abiding in the fire corner, and wind, and the unreal square, abiding in the place of the powerful one. The mantra practitioner faces east and south, and stretches the thread. Here, the teacher and disciples should circumambulate to the right. If there is no disciple, then tie oneself to a peg and draw. After doubling, tie it to the peg. The inner wheel is a vajra fence.

In the two-tiered mandala, starting from the powerful direction, wind the thread clockwise. The gate should be at one-eighth of the mandala, and it is considered to be without boundaries. The size of the gate frame should be the same as the size of the gate, with half of it as the edge. Three times the gate is the tarana, which should have flags and bells. Decorate with victory banners, flags, and goats, and have appropriate dimensions. Outside the tarana, draw the outer circle of light with twice the colors. Outside that wheel, set up a cemetery of wood and so on. Furthermore, decorate as beautifully as possible, according to the style of the wheel. If the thread breaks, the teacher will die; if it is insufficient or excessive, illness will occur; if the direction is wrong, the disciple will faint. Therefore, one should know the faultless points. After inviting the wisdom thread to descend, begin this work from there. One should generate pigments that greatly bestow desires and liberation. White, yellow, red, and green, with black inside all the colors. The proportions of the colors should gradually increase, and then the disciple can adjust as desired. The width of each color should be one-twentieth of the gate. If the pigments are uneven, crooked, or low, then the goal will not be achieved due to the low lines. Crookedness causes suffering, so the height should be about the height of a little finger, drawn high and straight. If it is thicker than that, illness will occur; if it is low, wealth will be exhausted. Crookedness causes mutual hatred, and if it breaks, both the teacher and disciple will die. If it is not drawn clockwise, it will be struck by powder pigments. The east should be a very white color, the south should be red. The west should be yellow, and the north should be green. Through the rituals and those, the seats of the four Buddhas reside, Vajra and other heroic yogis, dakinis of the petals, and so on, crow faces and so on should be distinguished. In the center are various lotuses, with stamens, and the corners are skulls. White, red, and blue, distinguish the colors of the body and so on. Like this, the mandala is the great goddess, and the heroes should be offered to. According to the characteristics of the land mentioned earlier, the center should be drawn higher. Leaning towards the east and north is the accomplishment of the mantra practitioners.
