即刹那也。六刹那为一饷顷。六饷顷为一小顷。以时间次第作此。若于三十数转变时。名曰字重之时。十个字重之时。说为一息之时。彼由十三转变来。彼又转变作二者。即名为一“宋”。六十“宋”者。许为一时。彼八者名一“屯”。彼四者为一日。昼夜之时相等时。说夜晚亦与彼相等。从摩羯至双鱼间。说太阳增长。天女以三“宋”三“宋”地。每日增长。从摩羯过后。夜晚减三“宋”三“宋”。为显示彼等量度故。以十二“宋”之铜。器皿高为八指。广为十二指。应打磨令其精良。以三十“奥赛”之金。如六指之量。打磨成精良之管子后。以彼管子。由巧匠于铜器上钻孔。于无浊之水中。作六十“宋”之量。此“宋”为时辰之量。为利益众生故说。彼时辰即为须臾。半“屯”与一“屯”。以昼夜之量。次第半月月增长。二个月为一时。彼三者说为太阳之往还。太阳往还二者。即说为一年。与空行母等共同结合之。金刚空行乃安乐之最胜。金刚萨 埵如来。薄伽梵金刚持所说。大续王吉祥金刚空行母中所分出之时间次第，即第二十六品。此后，何为星宿之种类？当略说之。氐宿与心宿及房宿。如是那布索与。毕宿，觜宿，如是。营室，危宿，奎宿等。说为天众。女宿，角宿与轸宿。亢宿与氐宿及。翼宿，心宿与危宿及。室宿，是人众也。昴宿与参宿。

Ten heavy letters are said to be the time of one breath. That is transformed from thirteen. That is also transformed into two, which is called one "Song." Sixty "Songs" are considered one hour. Eight of those are called one "Tun." Four of those are one day. When the time of day and night are equal, it is said that the night is also equal to that. From Capricorn to Pisces, it is said that the sun increases. The goddess increases by three "Songs" three "Songs" each day. After passing Capricorn, the night decreases by three "Songs" three "Songs." In order to show those measures, with twelve "Songs" of copper, the vessel should be eight fingers high and twelve fingers wide, and should be hammered to make it excellent. From thirty "Olsé" of gold, like the measure of six fingers, after hammering into an excellent pipe, with that pipe, a skilled craftsman should drill a hole in the copper vessel. From water without turbidity, make a measure of sixty "Songs." This "Song" is the measure of an hour, and is spoken for the benefit of beings.
