That which is born of the earth and possesses essence should be taken, for harmony turns into benefit, while opposition turns into harm. Now I shall explain the ritual for satisfaction, listen, goddess. Madhi and Paishti, as well as Godhi and Jakala, these are grains and manufactured wines, various distinctions of taste, these are spoken of in order. After the Mara is cooked, leaving only a honey-like substance, it is fumigated with incense. Then for one month, it is placed inside rice husks. After that, it is placed underground for one month and four days. The beginning and the end are the same, and the middle is poured in four times the amount. It is fumigated with rhododendron, camphor, and musk. This is called "Charming." Half a tael of Dhatri flower, brown sugar mixed with wine, and the remaining parts are all added, mixed together from the outside. One-sixteenth of the wine, and as many Dhatri flowers as there are, fragrant dregs, all of those are used together. Increase each month, and pour Charming into it. First, pour in the same amount, and double it for two months. Like this, three, four, five, six, seven, and so on, increase it up to a year. After that, for six months, seal it and hide it. Increase it with brown sugar juice, and it is said to be extremely intoxicating and nourishing. Eight ripe water fruits, similarly eight taels of Charming, one tael of Mirabilis jalapa powder, pour it into the bright inside, and place it in the grain for half a month. It is said to be the best of those with desire. Three fruits and nutmeg, agarwood and Arjuna, and the ingredients of nutmeg flower, take one tael of powder, and again add eight taels of Charming, and leave it for seven days. It is called intoxicating flower. Grapes, Katam, tree sovereign, juice of Kharja mountain, two kinds of Spa roots, Bata flower and so on, eight kinds are mixed together. This is the ritual of making. The intoxicating substance produced from Peshti, the best watery substance produced from food. That which is produced from the bark of Zuta and others is called wine. Zagara refers to grain wine. Grapes, honey, one hero, sour, cunning, food woman. That which is produced from the root of Chintsa is known as fishy grass. Soaked with flowers is very intoxicating. Together with fragrance, it is called Charming. For those who do not eat food and are thin, and those with bile, Zagara is beneficial. For those with phlegm, food wine is beneficial. Both praise Jiwo. Through mixing, extracting the essence is the best of flavors. Tsakatsa, Angga, honey, rue and cardamom juice, as well as Zuta and Kumbhala.
