Having the characteristics of being like a tree (upright), the space between the eyebrows, the collarbones being completely full, the characteristics of long fingers, and the characteristics of the body's edges being even and soft. Completely abandoning divisive speech, mediating disputes and grudges, due to that cause, due to that reason, having the characteristic of forty teeth, the characteristic of well-aligned teeth, and the characteristic of even teeth. Meditating on loving-kindness in the desire realm, due to that cause, due to that reason, having the characteristic of white teeth. Seeing beggars, welcoming and sending them off with joy, due to that cause, due to that reason, becoming having the characteristic of a lion's cheek. Viewing all sentient beings as equal like an only child, due to that cause, due to that reason, having the characteristic of tasting the supreme flavor. Constantly giving sentient beings the taste of the unsurpassed Dharma, reminding those who have forgotten and do not remember, also guarding the five precepts oneself, urging others to also guard them, and performing great Dharma giving with a loving heart, due to that cause, due to that reason, having the characteristic of the ushnisha and the characteristic of a long and wide tongue. Speaking truthfully, with words that delight in the Dharma, gentle and pleasing words, not speaking untimely words, due to that cause, due to that reason, having the Brahma's melodious voice. Meditating on the heart of compassion, viewing sentient beings as parents, due to that cause, due to that reason, having eyes like the color of dark blue, and eyes like the king of cows. Not concealing the goodness of those with qualities, praising and extolling them, due to that cause, due to that reason, having the white urṇa hair characteristic. The causes and conditions for these thirty-two characteristics have been explained separately, but the true cause and condition is, discipline and diligence. Why is that? If discipline is not guarded, and diligence is not practiced, even a human body cannot be obtained, so what need is there to mention obtaining the thirty-two characteristics?
