བུའི་མཚན་དགེ་དོན་ཞེས་བཏགས་སོ། །བཙུན་མོ་འབྲིང་མོ་ལ་སྲས་མངའ་བའི་ཚེ་སྔ་ལྟས་ཇི་ལྟ་བུ་བྱུང་ཞེས་དྲིས་ན། སྲས་བུ་འདིའི་མ་རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་དགེ་ཞིང་དེས་ཏེ་འཛུམ་པ་དང་ལྡན་ཞིང་ཚིག་གིས་སྔར་གསོང་པོར་སྨྲ་ཞིང་ཀུན་གྱི་ཡིད་ཚིམ་པར་བྱེད་པ་ལས། སྲས་མངལ་དུ་ཆགས་ནས་རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་ཁྲོ་ཞིང་ཞེ་སྡང་ཆེ་བ་དང་། ཕྲག་དོག་དང་ང་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །མཚན་མཁན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། འདི་ཡང་སྲས་བུའི་སྔོན་གྱི་ལས་འཕྲོ་ཡིན་པས། སྲས་བུའི་མཚན་ངན་དོན་ཞེས་བཏགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་བུ་གཉིས་གསོས་བསྐྱེད་དེ་ལོ་བཅུ་བཞི་ལོན་ནས་རྒྱལ་བུ་དགེ་དོན་རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་མཁས་པའི་བློ་དང་བྱམས་པའི་སེམས་སུ་ལྡན་ཏེ། སྦྱིན་པ་བྱེད་པ་ལ་དགའ་བས་ཕ་མ་ཡང་ལྷག་པར་སྲས་བུ་དེ་ལ་མིག་དང་འདྲ་བར་སྡུག་པར་སེམས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་བུ་ངན་དོན་ནི་རང་བཞིན་གྱིས་ ཁྲོ་བས་ན་ཕ་མ་ཡང་དེ་ལ་མི་དགའ་སྟེ། སྡང་བས་རྒྱལ་བུ་ངན་དོན་རྒྱུན་དུ་ཕྲག་དོག་བྱེད་དེ་ཕུ་བོ་ལ་གནོད་པ་བྱ་བར་སེམས་སོ། །ཕྱིས་དུས་གཞན་ཞིག་ན་རྒྱལ་བུ་དགེ་དོན་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ་རོལ་མོ་བྱེད་ཅིང་ཕོ་བྲང་གི་ཕྱི་རོལ་དུ་ལྟད་མོ་ལྟ་ཞིང་འཆག་ཏུ་སོང་བ་ལས་ཞིང་རྨོ་བ་དག་ཞིང་རྨོ་བའི་རོལ་ནས་སྲིན་བུ་དག་བྱུང་བ་ལས་བྱ་མང་པོ་དག་ཐུ་ཞིང་ཟ་བ་མཐོང་ངོ་། །རྒྱལ་བུ་དགེ་དོན་གྱིས་དེ་ལྟ་བུ་དག་མཐོང་ནས་སྙིང་རྗེ་བའི་སེམས་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། བདག་ནི་ཕོ་བྲང་ཟབ་མོ་ནས་སྐྱེས་པས་འདི་ལྟ་བུའི་དངོས་པོ་མ་མཐོང་མ་ཐོས་ན། འཁོར་རྣམས་ལ་འདི་དག་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་གཅིག་ལ་གཅིག་གནོད་པ་བྱེད་ཅིང་ཟ་ཞེས་དྲིས་སོ། །འཁོར་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་བུ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ད་ལྟར་རྒྱལ་པོ་མངའ་བའི་ཡུལ་འདི་ཡང་འབངས་ལ་རྟེན་ཏེ། འབངས་ཀྱང་ཁ་ཟས་ལ་ལྟོས་ཏེ་ཁ་ཟས་ནི་ཞིང་རྨོས་པ་ལས་འབྲུ་སྣ་ལྔ་སྐྱེས་ཏེ་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་སྲོག་འཛིན་ཏོ། །རྒྱལ་བུས་དེ་ལ་རེ་སྡུག་རེ་སྡུག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་ཏེ། ཡང་སོང་སོང་བ་ལས་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་། བུད་མེད་དག་སྐུད་པ་འཁལ་བ་དང་འཐག་པའི་ལས་བྱེད་དེ། ཕན་ཚུན་བསྐྱོད་ཅིང་ཉོན་མོངས་པར་མཐོང་ངོ་། །དེ་དག་མཐོང་ནས་མི་འདི་དག་ཅི་བྱེད་ཅེས་གཡོག་པོ་གཡས་གཡོན་ན་འདུག་པ་ལ་དྲིས་སོ། །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། མི་འདི་དག་ནི་བཀལ་བ་དང་འཐག་པའི་ལས་བྱེད་དེ། དེས་བདག་གི་ལུས་གཡོག་ཅིང་དགབ་པའི་གོས་བྱེད་དོ། །འདི་དག་ཡང་རེ་སྡུག་ཉོན་མོངས་པར་གྱུར་པའི་ལས་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ཡང་སོང་སོང་བ་ལས་མི་མང་པོ་དག་བ་ལང་དང་། རྔ་མོ་དང་། རྟ་དང་། ཕག་དང

给孩子取名为善义。询问中等妃子生太子时，有什么样的先兆？回答说：这个太子的母亲，天性善良，总是面带微笑，说话坦率，让大家都满意。自从怀上太子后，就变得天生易怒，嗔恨心重，嫉妒心强，傲慢自大。相士说：这也是太子的前世因缘。因此，给太子取名为恶义。之后，两个王子被抚养长大，到了十四岁时，善义王子天生具有聪慧的头脑和慈悲的心肠，喜欢布施，父母也因此特别疼爱这个王子，视如己出。而恶义王子天生 易怒，父母也不喜欢他，厌恶他，恶义王子经常嫉妒，想着要加害哥哥。后来，在另一个时候，善义王子带着随从玩乐，到王宫外面观看景色，看到耕田的人们在耕田时，从地里翻出虫子，许多鸟儿飞来啄食。善义王子看到这些情景，生起了怜悯之心，心想：我生长在深宫之中，没有见过这样的事物。于是问随从们：这些东西为什么互相伤害吞食呢？随从们对王子说：现在国王统治的这个国家，也依赖于百姓。百姓也依赖于食物，食物是从耕田里生长出来的五谷，用来维持众生的生命。王子听了，说道：真是可怜啊，真是可怜啊！又往前走，看到男人和女人们在纺线织布，互相催促，非常辛苦。看到这些，就问左右的侍从：这些人都在做什么呢？他们回答说：这些人正在做纺织的工作，用它来遮盖和保护我们的身体。这也是一种可怜而辛苦的工作啊！之后，又往前走，看到许多人赶着牛、牦牛、马、猪等。

The child was named Gewa Donyi (Virtuous Meaning). When the middle queen was pregnant with the prince, she was asked what kind of omens had occurred. She replied: The mother of this prince is naturally virtuous, always smiling, speaks frankly, and pleases everyone. Since becoming pregnant with the prince, she has become naturally angry, with great hatred, jealousy, and arrogance. The fortune-teller said: This is also the karmic connection of the prince's previous life. Therefore, the prince was named Ngen Donyi (Evil Meaning). Later, the two princes were raised, and when they reached the age of fourteen, Prince Gewa Donyi was naturally endowed with a wise mind and a compassionate heart, and he loved to give alms. Therefore, his parents especially loved this prince, regarding him as their own eyes. Prince Ngen Donyi was naturally angry, so his parents did not like him either, and hated him. Prince Ngen Donyi was constantly jealous, thinking of harming his brother. Later, at another time, Prince Gewa Donyi, accompanied by his entourage, went out to play and watch the scenery outside the palace. He saw farmers plowing the fields, and worms were turned out from the fields, and many birds flew to peck and eat them. Prince Gewa Donyi saw these scenes and felt compassion. He thought: I was born in a deep palace and have never seen such things. So he asked the entourage: Why do these things harm and devour each other? The entourage said to the prince: Now, this country ruled by the king also depends on the people. The people also depend on food, and food is the five grains that grow from plowing the fields, which are used to sustain the lives of sentient beings. The prince heard this and said: How pitiful, how pitiful! He went on and saw men and women spinning and weaving, urging each other on, working very hard. Seeing these, he asked the servants on his left and right: What are these people doing? They replied: These people are doing the work of spinning and weaving, using it to cover and protect our bodies. This is also a pitiful and laborious task! Afterwards, he went on and saw many people herding cattle, yaks, horses, pigs, etc.
