The son's name was Yari, and at the age of seven, he could dress himself and follow his father. The daughter's name was Geno Yan, and at the age of six, she wore deer skin and followed her mother. All the wild animals, deer, and birds living on that mountain were very happy and lived relying on the prince. After the prince went to that mountain and spent one night, the previously dried-up springs and ponds were filled with water. All the dried-up trees grew flowers and leaves, and the harmful insects disappeared. The phenomenon of wild animals preying on each other also disappeared, and they each ate grass. The fruit trees also flourished and became beautiful. Various birds emitted compassionate sounds, and the sounds were pleasant and melodious. The queen Mante picked fruits and offered them to the prince, and also fed the son and daughter. The son and daughter sometimes separated from their parents and played with wild animals or deer near the not-too-distant springs, sometimes even playing for days and nights. Later, on one occasion, the son Yari was riding on a lion when the lion stumbled and fell, slightly scratching the son's face and causing him to bleed. A monkey picked a leaf from a tree, wiped the blood from his face, and then led him to the water to wash it off, which the prince saw from afar. At that time, in a place called Kailai, a poor Brahmin took a wife at the age of forty. The wife was very beautiful and attractive, while that Brahmin possessed twelve extremely ugly characteristics. His body was as black as coal, with three bumps on his face, a crooked nose, two eyes as blue as glass, a wrinkled face, a drooping lower lip, an unpleasant voice, a large belly, a protruding buttocks, two crooked legs, a bald head with no hair, and he was as ugly as a ghost. His wife did not want to see him and constantly cursed him, feeling that dying would be easier than living. One time, that wife went to fetch water and met some young couples on the way, and those husbands were talking about the state of their families.

After being teased and laughed at like this, (those young men) said, "You are so incomparably good and so beautiful, how can you be such a wife?" The wife said to those husbands, "The old man's head is white like moss growing on a tree, he would rather die tonight, but how can he not die?" After that, she took the water pot and returned home, and said to her husband, "I went to fetch water again and again, and on the way I met some young husbands, who teased and laughed at me, saying, 'Now that you have slaves to command, you don't need to fetch water, and you won't be despised by others.'" The husband said, "We are very poor, how can we find slaves?" The wife said, "If you don't look for slaves for my sake, then I will leave and not live with you." The wife also said, "She heard that Prince Dondrup (དོན་གྲུབ་) gave alms when he shouldn't have, so he was banished by his father the king to a place called Ridantik (རི་དན་ཏིག་). It is said that the prince has a son and a daughter, go and beg from him." The husband said: "The place called Ridantik (རི་དན་ཏིག་) is more than six thousand yojanas away from here, and I have never traveled far before, how can I travel now?" The wife said, "If you don't look for slaves for my sake, I will hang myself and die." The husband said, "I would rather be killed by others, I don't want you to die." After saying that, he pleaded, "If you believe that I can go begging, prepare food and necessities for me." The wife said, "Go now, I have no food or necessities." After saying that, the Brahmin prepared his own food and set out on foot. After that, the Brahmin went to a place called Yawa (ཡ་བ་), and when he arrived there, he came to the gate of the royal palace and asked the gatekeeper, "Where is Prince Dondrup (དོན་གྲུབ་) now?" The gatekeeper entered the palace and said to the king, "Now there is a Brahmin outside asking where Prince Dondrup (དོན་གྲུབ་) is." As soon as the king heard the words "Where is Prince Dondrup (དོན་གྲུབ་)?", his heart was disturbed and angry, and he thought to himself that such a person...

If I abandoned my son for the sake of the tiger, now thinking that he has come to beg again, he spoke this parable. For example, fire is naturally hot and burning, it is like adding wood to it, I am now tormented by sorrow, like fire, and now asking what kind of prince I want is like adding wood to the fire. The Brahmin reported: I have come from a long way, and the prince, as regent, will give things that do not violate people's hearts, so his good name reaches the heavens above, and down to the depths of the well, I have come from a long way with hope. The king said: Prince Dondup is now living in a very secluded mountain, extremely poor and without anything, what can he give you? The Brahmin said: Even if the prince has nothing, I am very happy to see him. The king also ordered: Show the way to others. After that, the Brahmin walked and walked, and arrived at the foot of Mount Dantig, where there was a large river, and he crossed the river with the prince in his mind. After that, the Brahmin went to that mountain and first met a hunter, and asked the hunter: Have you seen a person named Prince Dondup on the mountain? The hunter also knew that the prince liked to give alms, so he was abandoned on the mountain for these Brahmins. So the hunter grabbed the Brahmin, tied him to a tree and beat him, and he was injured. The hunter also said: What do you want to do by asking the prince, do you want to shoot arrows? The Brahmin thought: Now this guy is going to kill me, I must lie. So he said to the hunter: What is wrong with you asking me? Then the hunter asked: Then what do you want to say? The Brahmin told this lie: The king's father is very happy to see the prince, so I came here to take the prince back. As soon as he finished speaking, the hunter untied him, let him go, and apologized for not understanding the situation before, not knowing the details, and then pointed out where the prince was. After that, the Brahmin went to the prince, and the prince saw the Brahmin coming from afar, and was very happy.
