A golden saddle was placed on a white rock elephant, and gold vessels were filled with silver coins. Silver vessels were filled with gold coins and arranged. To welcome the prince, they praised the sky. After welcoming the prince, they reported in the king's words: 'I was ignorant and took the felt elephant from the prince. Because of this, the prince left, and now I deeply regret it, so I ask for repentance. Now that I hear the prince is returning, I am very happy. I return the felt elephant and offer the gold and silver coins. Please accept these. Please also cleanse my faults.' The prince said: 'For example, if a person prepares food with a hundred flavors and gives it to another person, and that person eats the food and vomits it on the ground, can that vomited food, even if it has a fragrance, be eaten? My giving is like vomit, so I don't want it back. Messenger, ride this felt elephant and go back to my country. Please tell your king that I am very happy that he welcomes me in this way and greets me kindly with pleasant words.' The messenger rode the felt elephant and returned to his country, and reported to the king as he had been told. Because of that felt elephant, the fighting enemies developed feelings of love and compassion for each other, and the king and all the people developed unsurpassed equanimity. At that time, the king father also rode the felt elephant to welcome the prince. The prince bowed with his head and face, and followed the king back to the country. All the people were very happy and prepared offerings of flowers, incense, banners, victory banners, and flags, and sprinkled the ground with fragrant water. The prince returned to the palace and went to his mother, bowed his head, and inquired about her health with pleasant words. Then, the king gave all the treasure vaults to the prince, allowing him to give freely as he wished, and giving

By causing people to give alms even more continuously than before, he attained perfect and complete enlightenment. The Blessed One said to Ananda: "This is how I remember the almsgiving I did in the past. At that time, the prince named Don Drub (义成) at that time is now myself. The king who was the father at that time is now my father, King Śuddhodana. The one who was the mother at that time is now the mother Lha Dze (天美). The one who was the consort at that time is now Drakdzin (名持) himself. The monk named Achuta at that time is now the great son of Maudgalyayana. The one who was Indra, the lord of the gods, at that time is now Śāriputra. The one who was the hunter at that time is now you, Ananda. The boy named Yari at that time is now my son Rāhula. The one who was the girl at that time is the mother, aunt Gautami. The Brahmin beggar at that time is now Devadatta himself. The one who was the wife of the Brahmin at that time is now the Brahmin woman Chincha Manavika. Thus, the things that are extremely difficult for me to do are also countless and immeasurable, and the virtuous deeds that have been done are also countless and immeasurable. Therefore, this sutra should be widely taught to monks and Brahmins, etc. This is how the paramita of giving alms is done by Bodhisattvas, great beings. The Sutra of the Noble Prince Don Drub (义成), one fascicle, is completed. The Sutra of the Noble Prince Don Drub (义成).
