In the wilderness, a group of savages attacked a solitary Buddha who was in cessation samadhi in a cemetery. A vile person stealing items from the cemetery abandoned the items and hid. Then, those savages saw the solitary Buddha and struck him with stones, cut him with weapons, and burned him with fire, but because he was in cessation samadhi, they could not even move the edge of his robes. Then, when those savages became exhausted and were about to leave, the solitary Buddha barely arose from his samadhi. Then, the vile person who stole items from the cemetery offered food to the solitary Buddha and made a prayer: May I also obtain such qualities! Just as he cannot be shaken by others, may I also, wherever I am born, be unshakable by others! May I please the teacher even more excellently than this! May I not displease the teacher! The Blessed One said: Monks, what do you think? The one who was stealing items from the cemetery at that time was this Gangapa. Furthermore, during the time of the Blessed One Light-Protecting, he went forth and guarded the place of pure conduct, and now he has directly realized the state of an Arhat. Monks, therefore, actions that are definitely black will definitely have a black result. Actions that are definitely white will definitely have a white result. Mixed actions will have mixed results. Monks, therefore, abandon actions that are definitely black and mixed actions, and focus solely on actions that are definitely white. Monks, you should train yourselves in this way. After the Blessed One spoke these words, the monks rejoiced and praised what the Blessed One had said. The so-called "Sen Ring" refers to the kings, great ministers, wealthy people, and palace retinues towards the Buddha, the Blessed One.

and, merchants, captains, gods, nagas, yakshas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas were honored, respected, valued, and offered to. The Buddha, the Blessed One, who was worshiped and known by gods, nagas, yakshas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas, possessed great merit, and had obtained robes, food, bedding, seats, medicines, and medical supplies, was dwelling and residing in the Bamboo Grove, the Garden of Radiance, in the city of Rajagriha, together with the community of Shravakas. At that time, in the village of Spangsposcan, there lived a Brahmin named Brahmin Gyal, who had obtained a daughter of Brahmin Mata named Shari. When Shari's son entered Shari's womb, if that woman were to strike her uncle Senring with her spine, it would lead to the breaking of her uncle's spine. Then, Senring had the thought: It seems that a being renowned for great merit has taken rebirth in this womb, and it is due to his power. I should rely on some aspects of the mother beforehand. Then, Senring went to the south and learned many treatises. Then, after some time, Shari's son was finally born. When he was sixteen years old, he learned Indra's grammar and refuted all debates. Then, he eventually renounced in the teachings of the Blessed One. Then, after some time, the wandering Senring heard that his nephew had refuted all the heretics and had now become a disciple of the ascetic Gautama. Having heard this, he developed the thought that he had been mostly refuted, and he also developed the thought that there was no end to all the treatises. Then, he eventually went to Rajagriha. At that time, the Blessed One had arisen from meditative absorption and was teaching the fourfold assembly the taste of the Dharma, which was like unboiled honey. Shariputra was also in front of the Blessed One, holding a fan and fanning the Blessed One. Then, the wandering Senring

Then, (he) went to where the Blessed One was, and when he arrived, the wanderer Senarins saw the Blessed One surrounded by the assembly like a crescent moon, teaching the Dharma, and Shariputra was also holding a fan and fanning the Blessed One. Having seen this, he said to the Blessed One: 'O Gautama, I do not want everything.' The Blessed One replied: 'Son of the Fire Kindred, do you not want this view that says, "I do not want everything"?' 'O Gautama, I do not want the view that I say, "I do not want everything."' 'Son of the Fire Kindred, if that is the case, if you know and see it in that way, then this view will also be abandoned, forsaken, and relinquished. And other views will not be connected, taken, or arise. 'O Gautama, I know and see it in that way, so this view will also be abandoned, forsaken, and relinquished. And other views will not be connected or arise.' 'Son of the Fire Kindred, if that is the case, you will be in agreement and conformity with many people, because many people also see and speak in that way, so you are just like them.' 'Son of the Fire Kindred, whether they are ascetics or Brahmins, those who necessarily abandon that view and do not take other views are said to be even fewer than the very few in the world.' 'Son of the Fire Kindred, there are three places of views. What are the three? Son of the Fire Kindred, here some think, "I do not want everything," and they see and speak in that way. Others here think, "I want everything," and they also see and speak in that way. Still others here think, "I want some things and do not want others," and they also see and speak in that way. Son of the Fire Kindred, for those who hold the view that "I want everything," this view will lead to being full of desire, and will not lead to being without desire. It will lead to being full of hatred, and will not lead to being without hatred. It will lead to being full of delusion, and will not lead to being without delusion.
