After the mother completed nine months, she gave birth to a son. The daughter who was born possessed eighteen kinds of ugly features. Then, they held a birth celebration for her and named her Rastha. Later, when she finally reached the age suitable for marriage, no one would take her because she was too ugly, no matter to whom she was offered. After some time, a wealthy merchant named Ganga came from the south. King Gsal-gyal thought: This merchant Ganga does not know about her flaws, so I will definitely give her to him. Then, the king summoned Ganga with a messenger in the dark of night, adorned the daughter with all kinds of jewelry, and gave her to him as a wife. After Rastha was given to Ganga, the name Ganga-Rastha, Ganga-Rastha came to be. After some time, the merchant Ganga woke up the next day and saw that the daughter was extremely ugly. Upon seeing her, he became frightened, but considering the king, he did not dare to abandon her and just kept her in his house. After some time, the merchant Ganga went to a festival and went among his friends. The friends also made an internal rule: Whoever does not go to a certain garden with his wife will be fined five hundred Karshapanas to the friends. Then, Ganga returned to his house, entered a room of sorrow, held his head in his hands, and sat there depressed. He thought: It is best for me to pay the fine, I cannot show her to them, as soon as they see her, it will turn into bad talk. Then, Ganga closed the door, took the five hundred Karshapanas fine, and went to his friends. The daughter felt very unhappy and thought: What is the point of living such a life? Living only makes the family unhappy, and I myself am unhappy. Now is the time for me to kill myself. Then, she took a rope and went to hang herself in the back of the room. At that time, there was nothing that the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, did not know, did not see, did not understand, or did not comprehend.

Endowed with the Bhagavan of Great Compassion, engaged in benefiting the world, endowed with the sole protection, uniquely brave, unparalleled, not speaking in two tongues, abiding in tranquility and insight, manifesting the three knowledges, well-trained in the three trainings, skilled in the three bases of discipline, having crossed the four rivers, the soles of the feet of the four miraculous legs are extremely firm, having long been familiar with the four objects of gathering, fearless with the four fearlessnesses, proclaiming the great lion's roar of the supreme lion, having completely abandoned the five branches, having truly transcended the five realms of existence, endowed with six branches, having perfected the six perfections, abiding in the six things to be constantly abiding in, rich with the flowers of the seven branches of enlightenment, teaching the eightfold path, skilled in the nine successive abidings, endowed with the power of the ten powers, fame spreading in all ten directions, surpassing even those who have power over a hundredfold, those who, by their very nature, three times during the day and three times during the night, with the Buddha's eye, look upon the world: Who is declining? Who is prospering? Who is living in poverty? Who has become miserable? Who is endowed with harm? Who is poor, miserable, and endowed with harm? Who is inclined towards the lower realms? Who is falling into the lower realms? Who has fallen into the lower realms? Whom shall I rescue from the lower realms and place in the heavens, liberation, and the fruition? Whom shall I draw out of the mire of desire? Whom, lacking the seven noble riches, shall I place in the dominion of the seven noble riches? Whom, not having generated roots of virtue, shall I cause to generate? Whom, having already generated roots of virtue, shall I cause to fully ripen? Whom, having fully ripened, shall I liberate? Thus, the wisdom gaze engages. Here it is said: The ocean is the abode of makaras and other creatures, the tides may pass, but the Buddha never misses the opportunity for those disciples who are to be tamed. Then, the Bhagavan, residing in the garden of Prince Victory Banner, emitted golden rays of light, causing the house to appear as if a thousand suns had risen.
