Please enjoy. Pray again, the body is huge like a high mountain, the mouth and throat are dry and very painful, one's own hair covers the face, the mouth is as thin as a needle eye and extremely emaciated, like this naked body covered with hair, like erecting a machine of bones, holding a skull is disgusting, crying and running around, because of hunger and thirst, exhausted and forced by pain, making a weak voice, feeling the feeling of pain. That is because he did extremely terrible sins in the human world, therefore he suffers such terrible pain. The World Honored One said: The hungry ghost seen by Maudgalyayana's son is a person who commits evil deeds. Do you want to hear the form of his karma? Monks, please listen. Maudgalyayana's son, then listen carefully and keep it in mind, I will tell you. Maudgalyayana's son, in the past, in the city of Rajagriha, there was a merchant who was rich and had a lot of wealth, enjoying vast and boundless enjoyment, possessing the wealth of Vaishravana, and competing with the wealth of Vaishravana. There were five hundred places to squeeze sugarcane, and they squeezed sugarcane there. When the Buddhas do not appear in the world, the solitary Buddhas who are poor and distressed are compassionate, live in remote places, and appear in the world as the only place of offering in the world. For a while, a solitary Buddha who was compassionate to the poor and distressed and lived in a remote place appeared. He put on his skirt and robes in the morning, took his bowl and went to Rajagriha to beg for food. That monk suffered from a disease of dry internal organs, and the doctor told him that sugarcane juice was beneficial, so he went to that great merchant. The merchant also saw that solitary Buddha, whose body was beautiful and whose heart was beautiful. After seeing him, the merchant said: What does the noble one want? The solitary Buddha said: Patron, I want sugarcane juice. Then that patron instructed a gardener to offer sugarcane juice to this noble one, and then the patron

That was to go out for something. Then that person developed a miserly mind towards other people's possessions, thinking: If I give him this sugarcane juice, he will come here again later. He indulged in the three unpleasant destinations, abandoned the two destinations that everyone desired, distanced himself from the paths of the noble ones, and generated a sinful mind. He said to that solitary buddha: Bhikshu, give me the alms bowl, and I will give you sugarcane juice. The arhats of the shravakas and the solitary buddhas do not employ the vision of knowing everything until they are told. Because of compassion for the poor, they think: I will help this person. So he gave him the alms bowl. Then, that person with bad conduct and no compassion in his heart took the bowl and went to a hidden place, filled it with urine, covered it with sugarcane juice foam, and offered it to that solitary buddha. When he realized it, he thought: This afflicted one must have committed a great sin. So he went to one side and walked away. The Blessed One said: Maudgalyayana's son, what do you think? The one who became a gardener at that time was this hungry ghost. Due to the ripening of that karma, he experienced endless suffering in samsara, and now he has become a hungry ghost, experiencing unbearable suffering. Maudgalyayana's son, therefore, in order to prevent the hungry ghost from suffering such sins, one should strive to abandon miserliness. Maudgalyayana's son, if so, definitely black karma, its result is also definitely black. Definitely white karma, its result is also definitely white. Leading karma, its result is also leading karma. Maudgalyayana's son, therefore, one should abandon definitely black karma and leading karma, and only focus on definitely white karma. Maudgalyayana's son, you should learn in this way. After the Blessed One said this, the venerable Great Maudgalyayana's son, as well as gods, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas

And the great ones and others rejoiced and praised the Blessed One's words. The meaning of "food" is this: The Buddha, the Blessed One, was honored, respected, revered, and worshipped by kings, great ministers, wealthy people, palace attendants, merchants, captains, gods, nagas, yakshas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas. They made offerings and knew that the Buddha, the Blessed One, possessed great merit and had obtained robes, food, bedding, cushions, medicine, and medical supplies. At that time, the Blessed One, together with the monastic community of hearers, was dwelling in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Park. At that time, the venerable great Maudgalyayana was sitting under a tree for the sake of the midday rest. The venerable great Maudgalyayana heard the sound of a hungry ghost woman, uttering a miserable cry, experiencing intense, unbearable, burning, and unpleasant feelings. She was begging for food, saying, "Friends, I am hungry! Friends, I am thirsty!" Then, the venerable great Maudgalyayana saw that hungry ghost woman and asked, "What deeds have you done that you are experiencing such suffering?" The hungry ghost woman replied, "A lamp is not needed when the sun has risen. Please report this matter to the Blessed One, and he will tell you the nature of my deeds." Then, the venerable great Maudgalyayana went to where the Blessed One was. At that time, the Blessed One had arisen from meditative absorption and was teaching the fourfold assembly all that possessed the flavor of Dharma, like unboiled honey. Hundreds of thousands of attendants were also listening to all that possessed the flavor of Dharma from the Blessed One without moving their senses. Then, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, spoke plainly and pleasantly
