It has happened. He illuminated all directions, just like the rising sun. Again, he asked in verse: Those who are free from frivolity, do not like fatness, and have abandoned it, the Buddha is the sacred source of beings. The victorious ones who conquer enemies do not show a smile like the root of a lotus and the color of a conch shell without cause and condition. Because you understand the timing with steadfast wisdom, practitioners, victors, listeners, seekers of tranquility, please eliminate their doubts with the Buddha's excellent teachings, steadfastly and kindly. Like the ocean and the king of mountains, steadfast, the protectors, the perfectly enlightened ones, do not show a smile now. For what reason, warrior, do you show a smile? Therefore, most people wish to hear from you. The Blessed One said: Ananda, it is so, it is so. Ananda, the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Enlightened Ones, do not smile without cause and condition. Ananda, have you seen this householder showing me such respect? Venerable one, I have seen it. Ananda, this householder, by completely giving away the roots of virtue, the mind of enlightenment, and the Dharma of giving, has perfectly accomplished the Bodhi to be accomplished by three countless eons, and has perfected the six Paramitas held by great compassion. He will become a Perfectly Enlightened Buddha with ten powers, four fearlessnesses, three unmixed mindfulnesses, and great compassion, named the Divine Food Giver, and will appear in the world. The Dharma he gives is this that makes my heart manifest joy. At this time, King Bimbisara of Magadha and his attendants, having heard this, were greatly amazed. Then, the monks arose with doubts and asked the Buddha, the Blessed One, who cuts off all doubts: Blessed One, please look at this householder offering the Blessed One and the Sangha of Hearers with the wealth of gods and humans. The Blessed One said: Monks,

Oṃ, the Tathāgata himself arises like a fierce beast emerging from the forest, having accumulated the necessary resources and fulfilled the conditions in previous lifetimes. Because he has done and accumulated deeds that are not consumed by demons, who else will experience these deeds that I have done and accumulated? Monks, the deeds done and accumulated will not ripen in the external realm of earth, nor will they ripen in the realms of water, fire, or wind. The virtuous and non-virtuous deeds done and accumulated will ripen only in the aggregates, realms, and sources that are grasped. The deeds of sentient beings are not lost even after hundreds of eons. When the causes and conditions come together and the time is ripe, the results will manifest. Monks, in the past, in a bygone era, there appeared in the world a Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha, complete in knowledge and conduct, Well-Gone, Knower of the World, Guide of those who need to be tamed, Unsurpassed, Teacher of gods and humans, Buddha, Bhagavan, named Ganga. Then, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Ganga, while wandering and traveling, came to a palace. The king of the Kshatriya caste, who had been consecrated, heard that the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Ganga had come to the vicinity of the palace while wandering and traveling. Having heard this, the king, who possessed great royal wealth and great royal power, went to where the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Ganga was. Having arrived, he bowed his head at the feet of the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Ganga and sat down on one side. Having sat down on one side, the king of the Kshatriya caste, who had been consecrated, requested the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Ganga to teach the Dharma that leads to the attainment of Bodhi. Then, for three months, the king of the Kshatriya caste, who had been consecrated, offered robes, food, bedding, seats, medicine, and medical supplies to the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Ganga and his community of Śrāvakas.

Because the mute one said nothing, it was permitted. Then, the king who was enthroned from the top of the royal family, knowing that the perfectly enlightened Buddha, the mute one, permitted it by saying nothing, served and honored him for three months with clothes, food, bedding, cushions, treatment for illness, and medicines. He also made a statue of the Blessed One out of precious jewels, held a Buddha festival, and there, hundreds of thousands of beings gained great faith, and due to that cause and condition, they were all completely liberated from suffering. Monks, what do you think? The one who became king at that time was me. Because I made such offerings to the perfectly enlightened Buddha, the mute one, I experienced infinite happiness in samsara. Due to that reason, even now when I have become the Tathagata, merchants and Indra have made such offerings to me. Monks, therefore, you should train like this: respect the teacher, regard him as a guru, regard him as an example, and make offerings. Having respected the teacher, regarded him as a guru, regarded him as an example, and made offerings, abide in reliance. Monks, you should train like that. After the Blessed One said that, the monks were delighted and praised the words of the Blessed One. From the Hundred Parables of the Mute One, the second chapter of verses is completed. The third chapter of verses. The sixth volume of the Hundred Parables of the Mute One. Summary: Sandalwood and lotus, as well as the ten-headed wheel, gentle color and cool light, listening and fragrant scent, immaculate and melodious sound, have been explained in various chapters. What is called sandalwood refers to the kings, ministers, wealthy people, palace attendants, merchants, captains, gods, nagas, yakshas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas who respect the Buddha, the Blessed One, regard him as a guru, regard him as an example,
