As he crawled and went on, he approached the land of the Licchavis and encountered a cowherd who was herding about five hundred cows. Among those cows, a lead bull saw the prince with blinded eyes and licked the prince's eyes with its tongue. Then, all the cows gathered there. The cowherd also came there and saw a person lying on the ground. When he examined him closely, he saw thorns stuck in his eyes. He gently pulled out the two thorns and led him to his dwelling. After that, he smeared the wound with milk and butter, and nourished him with food, restoring him to health. Then, one day, the wound gradually healed, and (the prince) said, "Now I will go." But the cowherd did not let him go. Then, after some time, the wound healed completely, and (the prince) said, "Now I will go to the city of Ohni." Eventually, he (the cowherd) escorted him near the city, and (the prince) said, "Please give me a musical instrument called 'Kima'." The cowherd gave him a musical instrument called 'Kima'. After that, the prince played the instrument and sang beautiful songs and lyrics. Everyone listened to him, and everyone brought food and drink. Then, five hundred beggars also relied on the prince and were sustained. Later, a guardian of the king's garden came there. Hearing the beautiful music, they were very happy. He asked, "If you play music in my garden and also guard the garden, can you do it?" (The prince) replied, "I am blind, I cannot do it." He (the guardian) said, "It's okay if you can't see. Hang bells on the branches of the trees, and when you hear the sound of birds, just pull the bells. Come to my garden." The prince stayed in that garden and played music. At that time, Sinful Intention came again. The king asked him, "What happened to your brother and the other merchants?" He replied, "My brother Kind Intention (དགེ་དོན་) and the other merchants obtained many precious jewels, but they sank into the water along with the ship. If the king hears, I will be in trouble.' The daughter said, 'If you do not eat with me, I will not eat either.' She said this many times.
