སུམ་ཅུ་གསུམ་པ། རྒྱལ་བུ་དགེ་དོན་གྱི་ལེའུ། སུམ་ཅུ་གསུམ་པ། རྒྱལ་བུ་དགེ་དོན་གྱི་ལེའུ། འདི་སྐད་བདག་གིས་ཐོས་པའི་དུས་གཅིག་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་བྱ་རྒོད་སྤུངས་པའི་རི་ལ་དགེ་སློང་གི་དགེ་འདུན་ཆེན་པོ་དང་ཐབས་ཅིག་ཏུ་བཞུགས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་གྱིས་ཐབས་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་ལ་གནོད་པར་བྱ་བར་བསམས་ཀྱང་། དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་ནི་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་དང་སྒྲ་གཅན་ཟིན་ གཉིས་ལ་མི་འདྲ་བར་མེད་པར་དགོངས་ཏེ། རྟག་ཏུ་དེ་ལ་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བར་མཐོང་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ཞུས་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ལྷ་སྦྱིན་འདིས་དུས་འདི་ཉིད་ན་ང་ལ་གནོད་པ་བྱས་པར་མ་ཟད་དེ། སྐྱེ་བ་གཞན་དུ་ཡང་ང་ལ་གནོད་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དོ། །དགེ་སློང་དག་ཐེ་ཙོམ་དུ་གྱུར་ནས་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །ལྷ་སྦྱིན་འདིས་སྐྱེ་བ་གཞན་དག་ན་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གནོད་པ་ཅི་ལྟར་བགྱིས་ཤེས་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ཏོ། །སྔོན་འདས་པའི་དུས་བསྐལ་པ་ཚད་མེད་གྲངས་མེད་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་བསམ་གྱིས་མི་ཁྱབ་པའི་ཕ་རོལ་དུ། འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་འདིར་རྒྱལ་པོ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་གོ་ཆ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་རྒྱལ་ཕྲན་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ལ་དབང་བྱེད་པ་ཞིག་བྱུང་ངོ་། །དེ་ལ་བཙུན་མོ་དང་ཕོ་བྲང་གི་སླས་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་སྙེད་ཡོད་ཀྱང་བུ་མེད་དེ། ཉི་ཟླའི་ལྷ་ལ་སོགས་ཏེ་ལྷ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་གསོལ་བ་བྱས་ཏེ། ལོ་དུ་མ་ལོན་ཀྱང་བུ་མེད་པས་མི་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་ཏེ། འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ། །བདག་ལ་བུ་ནི་གཅིག་ཀྱང་མེད་དེ། དེའུ་རེ་ཚེ་ཟད་པས་རྒྱལ་ཕྲན་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཡང་གཅིག་ལ་གཅིག་མི་ཉན་ཏེ། ཐམས་ཅད་འཁྲུགས་ནས། ཡུལ་མི་བདེ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ་སྙམ་ནས་སེམས་ཁོངས་སུ་ཆུད་དེ། ལག་པ་འགྲམ་པ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་འདུག་པ་ལས། དེའི་ཚེ་ན་ལྷ་ཞིག་རྒྱལ་པོའི་བསམ་པ་ཤེས་ནས། རྨི་ལམ་དུ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བསྒོའོ། །ཕོ་བྲང་གི་ཕྱི་རོལ་ཚལ་གྱི་ནང་ན། དྲང་སྲོང་གཉིས་ཤིག་ཡོད་དེ་གཅིག་གི་ལུས་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ཏུ་འདུག་གི །དེའི་གན་དུ་སོང་ལ་གསོལ་བ་ཐོབ་ཤིག་དང་། བུར་སྐྱེ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཞེས་བསྒོ་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་གཉིད་ལོག་པ་ལས་སད་ནས། དྲང་སྲོང་གཉིས་གང་ན་འདུག་པ་ཚོལ་དུ་སོང་སྟེ། དྲང་སྲོང་དེ་དང་ཕྲད་ནས། བདག་ལ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་རིགས་འཚོབ་པ་མེད་ཀྱིས་ཁྱོད་བདག་གི་རིགས་སུ་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། རིགས་གསོ་

第三十三品，名为《王子善施》。 第三十三品，名为《王子善施》。 如是我闻，一时，世尊在王舍城（Rajagriha）的鹫峰山（Grdhrakuta）上，与大比丘僧团在一起。那时，具寿阿难陀看到提婆达多用各种方法想加害如来，但如来却认为提婆达多和罗睺罗没有区别，总是慈爱地对待他。于是阿难陀向世尊禀告，世尊对阿难陀说：“提婆达多不仅现在想加害我，在过去世也曾对我怀有恶意。”比丘们感到疑惑，阿难陀便问世尊：“提婆达多在过去世是如何加害世尊的呢？”世尊告诉阿难陀：“在过去无量无数不可思议的劫前，在此赡部洲，有一位名叫宝铠的国王，统治着五百个小国。他有五百位妃嫔和宫女，但没有儿子。他向日月神等所有神祇祈祷，多年过去仍无子嗣，因此感到不悦，心想：‘我没有一个儿子，一旦我去世，这五百个小国就会互相争斗，导致国家动荡不安。’他为此忧心忡忡，手托着脸颊沉思。当时，一位天神得知国王的心思，便在梦中告诉国王：‘在王宫外的园林中，有两位仙人，其中一位的身体呈金色。你去向他们祈求，就能生儿子。’天神说完后，国王立即从睡梦中醒来，四处寻找两位仙人，找到后，便对仙人说：‘我没有可以继承王位的子嗣，请您转生为我的儿子，延续我的血脉。’

Chapter Thirty-Three: The Tale of Prince Good Deeds Chapter Thirty-Three: The Tale of Prince Good Deeds Thus have I heard. Once, the Blessed One was dwelling in Rajagriha on Vulture Peak Mountain, together with a great community of monks. At that time, the venerable Ananda saw that Devadatta was trying to harm the Tathagata in various ways, but the Tathagata regarded Devadatta and Rahula as no different and always treated him with loving-kindness. Then Ananda reported this to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said to Ananda: "Devadatta has not only harmed me in this present time, but he has also harbored malice towards me in other lives." The monks were in doubt, and Ananda asked the Blessed One: "How did Devadatta harm the Blessed One in other lives?" The Blessed One told Ananda: "In the past, immeasurable, countless, incalculable, and inconceivable eons ago, in this Jambudvipa, there was a king named Jewel Armor who ruled over five hundred small kingdoms. He had five hundred consorts and palace women, but no son. He prayed to all the gods, including the gods of the sun and moon, but after many years he still had no son, and so he was displeased, thinking: 'I have not even one son. When I die, these five hundred small kingdoms will not listen to each other, and they will all be in turmoil, and the country will be uneasy.' He was worried about this, and he sat with his hand on his cheek. At that time, a god knew the king's thoughts and told the king in a dream: 'In the garden outside the palace, there are two hermits, one of whom has a body that is the color of gold. Go to them and pray, and you will be born as a son.' As soon as the god had spoken, the king woke up from his sleep and went to look for the two hermits. When he met the hermits, he said: 'I have no heir to inherit the kingdom, so please be born as my son and continue my lineage.'
