་བསམས་པ་བཞིན་དུ་མ་གྲུབ་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་ཁ་སྦུབ་ཏུ་ཉལ་བ་འདི་ལས་མི་ལྡང་ངོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཕ་མ་མི་དགའ་སྟེ། གཉེན་བཤེས་དང་བགྲོས་ནས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ནང་དུ་གཤེད་མ་ཡང་མང་དུ་ཡོད་པའི་གཏམ་ཡང་བྱས། བདག་ཀྱང་རྨོངས་པ་ལས་ལོ་བཅུ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་ལྷ་ཀུན་ལ་མཆོད་དོ། །ཁྱོད་ལྷ་ཞིག།ངའི་བུར་སྐྱེས་ན་ངེད་མ་བོར་བར་ཟན་ཟོ་ཤིག།ཅེས་ཞག་གཅིག་ཞག་གཉིས་ནས་ཞག་དྲུག་གི་བར་དུ་ཚིག་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་གྲོས་བཏབ་ཀྱང་མ་ཉན་ཏེ། སྔར་ཅི་སྐད་སྨྲས་པ་ལས་མ་ཟློགས་སོ། །ཕ་མ་སྐྲག་ནས་ཡང་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །བདག་གི་བུ་འདི་ཐོག་མ་བཙས་ནས་དེ་ཙམ་གྱི་བར་དུ་བརྩམ་པར་བྱ་བ་མཐར་མ་གྲུབ་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་མི་གཏོང་བས་རྒྱ་མཚོར་བཏང་ན་བརྒྱལ་ཕྱིར་ལོག་ཀྱང་སྲིད་ཀྱི་མ་བཏང་ན་ཞག་བདུན་ལོན་ནས་འཕྲལ་དུ་བྱེ་བྲག་ཕྱེ་སྟེ། ད་ནི་བཏང་དགོས་སོ་སྙམ་ནས་བུའི་དྲུང་དུ་སོང་སྟེ་ལག་པ་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ། བུ་ལོངས་ལ་ཟན་ཟོ་ཤིག་ཡིད་བཞིན་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་གནང་ངོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་སྦྱིན་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡང་ལངས་ཏེ་བཟའ་བ་ཟོས་བཏུང་བ་འཐུངས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཕྱི་རོལ་ཏུ་བྱུང་སྟེ་མི་མང་པོ་ལ་ཁོ་བོ་རྒྱ་མཚོར་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ལེན་དུ་འགྲོའོ། །ཁྱོད་སུ་འགྲོ་དགའ་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་འགྲོགས་ཏེ་འདོང་གིས་དེད་དཔོན་ཀྱང་ཁོ་བོས་བྱས་ ལ། ཡོ་བྱད་ཀྱང་ཁོ་བོས་སྦྱར་རོ་ཞེས་བསྒྲགས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་མི་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཙམ་ཡང་འགྲོ་བར་ཁས་བླངས་ནས་སོ་སོ་ནས་ཡོ་བྱད་སྦྱར་ཏེ། ནམ་འགྲོ་བའི་དུས་ཀྱང་བྱས་ནས། དུས་བཞིན་དུ་ལམ་དུ་ཞུགས་ཏེ་ཆས་སོ། །ལམ་དུ་འཇུག་པའི་ཚེ་ཁྱེའུའི་ཕ་མ་དང་། རྒྱལ་པོ་དང་། རྒྱལ་བུ་དང་། བློན་པོ་ལ་སོགས་ཏེ་ཡུལ་མི་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་བསྐྱལ་ནས་རྫོངས་བཏབ་པོ། །ཕ་མ་ཡང་ངུས་ཏེ་ཕྱི་ཕྱག་བྱས་ནས་ཞག་དུ་མའི་ལམ་འདས་པ་དང་། འབྲོག་ས་སྟོང་དུ་ཕྱིན་ཏེ་ནུབ་མོའི་དགོངས་ལམ་དུ་མི་རྒོད་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་སྟེ། ནོར་རྫས་ཀུན་ཕྲོགས་སོ། དེ་ནས་སོང་སོང་བ་ལས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ང་ཤུ་པར་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་ཕྱིན་ནས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ན་བྲམ་ཟེ་ཀ་པྱི་ལི་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་དང་ཕྲད་དེ། བྲམ་ཟེ་དེའི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་སོང་ནས་བྲམ་ཟེ་དེ་ལས་སྦྱིན་པ་ཆེན་པོས་གསེར་སྲང་སུམ་སྟོང་བསླང་བར་བྱས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་བྲམ་ཟེ་དེ་ལ་བུ་མོ་གསེར་གྱི་མདོག་ཅན་སྐྲ་མཐོན་མཐིང་གར་འདུག་པ། རྒྱལ་ཕྲན་བརྒྱད་ཁྲི་བཞི་སྟོང་སྙེད་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་བུ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་བསླངས་ན་ཡང་མ་སྟེར་བ་ཅིག་ཡོད་དོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་སྦྱིན་པ་ཆེན་པོ་བྲམ་ཟེ་དེའི་སྒོར་སོང་སྟེ

说：“在我的愿望没有实现之前，我不会起身离开这个面朝下躺着的地方。” 之后，他的父母很不高兴，与亲戚朋友商量，也说了海里有很多罗刹鬼之类的话。 我因为愚昧，十二年间供奉所有的神。 “你如果是一位神，如果投生为我的儿子，不要抛弃我们，请吃糌粑吧！” 这样，从一天两天到六天，想尽各种办法劝说，但他都不听，仍然坚持之前所说的话。 父母害怕了，又这样说：“我的这个儿子，从最初出生到现在，凡是开始做的事情，在没有完成之前绝不放弃，如果把他送到海里，他可能会昏倒后又回来，如果不送走，七天后就会立刻死去。” 于是心想现在必须送走了，就走到儿子身边，拉着他的手说：“儿子，起来吃糌粑吧，允许你如愿以偿地去。” 这样说完，大施也站起来，吃了食物，喝了饮料。 之后，他走到外面，对很多人宣布：“我要去海里取宝了！ 你们谁愿意去，就一起去吧，我来当船长，用具也由我来准备。” 当时，大约有五百人答应一起去，各自准备用具，也确定了出发的时间。 到了约定的时间，他们就上路出发了。 出发的时候，孩子的父母、国王、王子、大臣等所有村民都来送行。 父母也哭了，向他告别，走了很多天之后，他们来到一个荒无人烟的地方，晚上在梦中被野人袭击，所有的财物都被抢走了。 之后，他们继续前进，到达了一个叫做我宿波的城市，在那里他们遇到了一位名叫迦毗梨的婆罗门。 他们去了婆罗门的家里，大施向婆罗门乞讨了三千金币。 当时，婆罗门有一个女儿，肤色金黄，头发乌黑，有八万四千个小国的王子都向她求婚，但婆罗门都没有答应。 当时，大施来到了婆罗门的门口

Thus, from one day to two days to six days, they tried all sorts of ways to persuade him, but he would not listen, and still insisted on what he had said before. The parents were afraid and said again, "This son of mine, from the time he was first born until now, never gives up on anything he starts until it is finished. If we send him to the sea, he might faint and come back, but if we don't send him, he will die immediately after seven days." So they thought, "Now we must send him away," and went to the son's side, took his hand and said, "Son, get up and eat tsampa, you are allowed to go as you wish." After saying this, Great Giving also stood up, ate food, and drank beverages. After that, he went outside and announced to many people, "I am going to the sea to get treasures! Whoever wants to go, come with me, I will be the captain, and I will prepare the equipment." At that time, about five hundred people agreed to go, and each prepared their equipment, and they also set the time of departure. At the appointed time, they set out on the road. When they set out, the child's parents, the king, the prince, the ministers, and all the villagers came to see them off. The parents also cried and said goodbye to him. After many days of travel, they came to a deserted place, and at night they were attacked by wild men in a dream, and all their property was robbed. After that, they continued on and reached a city called Nga Shupar, where they met a Brahmin named Kapili. They went to the Brahmin's house, and Great Giving begged the Brahmin for three thousand gold coins. At that time, the Brahmin had a daughter with golden skin and dark hair, and the princes of eighty-four thousand small kingdoms had all asked her to marry them, but the Brahmin had not agreed. At that time, Great Giving went to the Brahmin's door.

當被問到「婆羅門迦毗梨在嗎？」的時候，女孩僅僅聽到從房子裡傳出的大施主聲音，就對父母說：「外面門口說話的這個人是我的丈夫。」然後婆羅門來到門口相遇，心想這個孩子必定比其他人更殊勝。那個孩子乞討黃金，婆羅門也給予布施，一手拿著黃金，一手牽著女孩，說：「也請把這個女孩布施給您做妻子。」大施主說：「我將前往大海去取寶，但海中魔障極多，我是否能平安歸來難以預料，無法迎娶您的女兒為妻。」婆羅門說：「您若平安歸來，就把這個女孩娶為妻。」大施主也說：「若能歸來，就照您說的做。」然後婆羅門也準備了三千金幣以及其他一切所需的物品，然後前往海邊。然後修好船，進入船中，然後用七根繩索繫緊。從船中說了這樣的話：「海中有這些魔障，例如黑風和羅剎，以及海水的漩渦，惡龍，像水色的山，以及鱷魚等等可怕的魔障很多，如果有人不相信能去，就從這裡回去吧，以後會後悔的。如果不在乎身體和性命，不貪戀父母、妻子、兄弟和親友，就去吧。如果能平安歸來，七種珍寶能讓子孫七代都富裕，享用不盡。」說完就砍斷了一根繩索。像這樣，七天之中，每天一次這樣說，砍斷一根繩索，藉著風力，升起風帆，像箭一樣快速前進。然後商人到達珍寶島，大施主因為聽聞很多，非常擅長鑑定珍寶，商人（能鑑定）珍寶的好壞，輕重以及價值多少等等。

The child begged for gold, and the Brahmin also gave alms, holding gold in one hand and leading the girl with the other, saying, "Please also give this girl to you as a wife." The great benefactor said, "I am going to the great ocean to collect jewels, but there are many obstacles in the ocean, and it is unpredictable whether I will return safely. I cannot take your daughter as my wife." The Brahmin said, "If you return safely, take this girl as your wife." The great benefactor also said, "If I return, I will do as you say." Then the Brahmin also prepared three thousand gold coins and all other necessary items, and then went to the seashore. Then he repaired the boat, entered the boat, and then fastened it with seven ropes. From inside the boat, he said these words: "There are these obstacles in the ocean, such as black winds and Rakshasas, and swirling waves of water, vicious dragons, mountains like the color of water, and crocodiles, etc. There are many terrible obstacles. If there is anyone who does not believe they can go, return from here, and you will regret it later. If you do not care about body and life, and are not attached to parents, wife, brothers, and relatives, then go. If you return safely, the seven kinds of jewels will make your descendants rich for seven generations, and you will have inexhaustible enjoyment." Having said that, he cut one rope. In this way, for seven days, he said that once a day, cutting one rope each time, and with the help of the wind, raising the sail, he went as fast as an arrow. Then the merchants arrived at the jewel island, and the great benefactor, having heard much, was very skilled in appraising jewels, and the merchants (could appraise) the quality of the jewels, their weight, and their value, etc.
