Its life is peaceful. After coming out, it is tormented by birds for eating too much. You get angry and become fat, and when you enter again, you get stuck in the hole and suffer. If you now know the amount of food and don't get angry, you can enter peacefully as you came out, say that. Then, after conveying the message of the young maiden, the king said: That young maiden, you have a lover in your parents' house, and when you are in your husband's house, you want to go back to your parents' house because you love your lover, and when you are in your parents' house, a lover is born again, and you want to go to your husband's house because you love your husband. So, give up one and cherish one well. That way, there will be no such harm, say that. In another place, after conveying the message to the crow on the Shakotaka tree, the king said: Because there is gold under that tree, your voice is pleasant. Because there is no gold next to other trees, your voice is not pleasant, say that. The king said to the staff-holder: You have made many mistakes, but I forgive you. Dig up the gold mine under the poor tree and take it away. The staff-holder, according to the king's instructions, conveyed the messages to each other, and also dug up the gold from under the tree and took it away. From then on, they maintained their livelihoods and were never lazy, and became rich and happy for the rest of their lives. Ananda, don't think of that beautiful king at that time as someone else. That is me now. The Brahmin with the staff at that time was the Brahmin Pindola Bharadvaja. I also previously freed him from suffering, gave him jewels, and made him happy. Now, after becoming enlightened, I have also freed him from suffering and given him the inexhaustible treasure of the Dharma. After the Blessed One said this, the venerable Ananda and the many attendants rejoiced and praised the words of the Blessed One and were very happy. The chapter called the Householder with a Staff, the thirty-ninth chapter, is complete. The fortieth chapter, the chapter of the Brahmin Shin Tsir. Thus I have heard, once, the Blessed One

In the past, in Shravasti, in the garden of Prince Jeta, in the monastery of Anathapindika, the benefactor of the helpless. (The Buddha) resided there. At that time, in that place, there was a Brahmin named Shin Chir, who was of noble lineage and wealthy, but had no son. He went to visit the six teachers and asked, and the six teachers said that you have no signs of having a son. After that, the Brahmin returned home, wearing dirty clothes, entered the room of sorrow, and was unhappy, thinking: I have no son, and if I die, my house and property will be confiscated by the king. Thinking these things, he sat very unhappily. At that time, the wife of that Brahmin was friends with a Bhikkhuni. The Bhikkhuni came to the Brahmin's house and saw that the Brahmin was very unhappy and tormented by sorrow, so she asked his wife: Why is your husband unhappy? The Brahmin's wife said: I have no son, and I asked the six teachers, and they said that I have no signs of having a son, so he is unhappy and sad. Then, that Bhikkhuni said: The six teachers are not omniscient, how can they know the cause and effect of karma? The Tathagata dwells in the world, fully enlightened and knowing everything, and has no obstacles to the past and the future, why not ask him whether or not you will have a son? After the Bhikkhuni left, the Brahmin's wife told these words to her husband. After hearing this, the Brahmin happily understood and comprehended. He immediately put on new clothes, went to where the Blessed One was, and upon arriving, prostrated at the Buddha's feet with his head, and then reported to the Blessed One: Blessed One, do I not have a son with merit and power? The Blessed One told the Brahmin: You will have a son, and he will be endowed with merit, and when he grows up, he will like to renounce. After hearing the Blessed One say this, the Brahmin was very happy and satisfied, thinking: If I have a son, even if he renounces, it is good, there is no suffering. Then, he invited the Blessed One and the Sangha of Bhikkhus to come to his house tomorrow to receive offerings. The Blessed One did not speak, indicating his consent. The next day,

Having arrived there, together with the Buddha and the Sangha, they went to the house of that Brahmin. After sitting on the laid-out seats, the Brahmin couple offered alms with hospitality. After receiving the alms, the Buddha and the Sangha returned together. In between, there was a meadow, and there was a very clean spring. The Blessed One and the Sangha of monks rested there, and each took water from the spring, washing their bowls and limbs. Then, a monkey came there, wanting to take the bowl from Ananda. Fearing that the bowl would be broken, Ananda did not give it to the monkey. The Blessed One said to Ananda, "Give the bowl to the monkey." Then, Ananda gave the bowl to the monkey. The monkey took honey from the trees and filled the bowl, offering it to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said, "Remove the impurities from the honey." The monkey removed the corpses of insects and other impurities and offered it. The Blessed One took the bowl filled with honey and said, "Mix the honey with water." Then, mixing it with water, they offered it to the Blessed One. The Blessed One took it and also distributed it to the Sangha of monks, and everyone was satisfied. At that time, the monkey, seeing this, was very happy, jumping and dancing, and as a result, fell into a cliff and died. Immediately after death, he was reborn as the son of a Brahmin. The wife of that Brahmin became pregnant, and after the full term, she gave birth to a handsome and lovely boy. At the time of his first birth, all the vessels in the house were filled with honey. The Brahmin couple were very happy and called a diviner to examine the signs. The diviner asked, "When this child was born, what signs or miracles occurred?" They replied, "At the time of his first birth, all the vessels were filled with honey." Therefore, they named the boy Honey Supreme. After that, the boy was raised and grew up, and when he grew up, he asked his parents to renounce the world. The parents, because of their love for their son, did not allow it. The boy asked again and again, (finally saying) if my parents obstruct me, I may die.
