་པ་མཐོང་ནས་སྐྱབས་སུ་འགྲོ་བ་དང་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་རྣམས་བླངས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་གཏམ་གྱིས་ཡང་དག་པར་བསྟན། ཡང་དག་པར་འཛིན་དུ་བཅུག །ཡང་དག་པར་གཟེངས་བསྟོད། ཡང་དག་པ་དགའ་བར་བྱས་ནས་སྟན་ལས་ལངས་ཏེ་སོང་ངོ་། །ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་ཡང་བདེན་པ་མཐོང་བར་གྱུར་ནས། སྦྱིན་པ་དག་སྦྱིན་ཞིང་བསོད་ནམས་དག་བྱེད་དོ། །དེའི་ཁྱིམ་དེ་སློང་བའི་སྐྱེ་བོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཆུ་དོང་དང་འདྲ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་ཀྱང་། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ཡང་དང་ཡང་དུ་ཁྱིམ་གྱི་ནང་དུ་བཤོས་གསོལ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་ཁྱི་མོ་དེ་ལ་ཁ་ཟས་བྱིན་ནས་ཆོས་མཉན་པའི་ཕྱིར་མདུན་དུ་འདུག་གོ །ཁྱི་མོ་དེ་ཡང་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུའི་མདུན་དུ་འདུག་ནས་ཆོས་ཉན་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་བསམས་པ་བདག་གིས་ལེགས་པ་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་རྟོགས་པ་ཅི་ཡང་རུང་བ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་ཁྱི་མོ་འདིའི་མཐུ་ལས་བྱུང་བ་ཡིན་ནོ། །སྙམ་དུ་རིག་གོ །རིག་ནས་ཀྱང་དེ་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་སྐྱོང་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་ཕྱི་ཞིག་ན་ཁྱི་མོ་དེ་ནད་ཀྱིས་ཐེབས་ནས། ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། བུ་འདི་ལྟར་འདུ་བྱེད་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་མི་རྟག་པའོ། །འདུ་བྱེད་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བའོ། །ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་བདག་མེད་པའོ། །མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པ་ནི་ཞི་བའོ། །ང་ལ་སེམས་དགའ་བར་གྱིས་ཤིག་དང་། དུད་འགྲོའི་སྐྱེ་གནས་དང་འབྲལ་བར་འགྱུར་ཡང་སྲིད་དོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་སོང་ངོ་། །དེ་སོང་ནས་རིང་པོ་མ་ལོན་པར་ཁྱི་མོ་དེ་ཡང་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ལ་སེམས་དགའ་བར་གྱུར་ནས་ཤིའོ། །དེ་ཤི་འཕོས་ཏེ་འདས་ནས་ཁྱིམ་དེ་ཉིད་དུ་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེའི་ཆུང་མ་ཆེན་མའི་མངལ་དུ་སྐྱེས་སོ། །དེ་ཤི་བའི་ཚེ་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་སླར་ཁྱིམ་དེར་འོངས་ནས། ཁྱིམ་བདག་གིས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ལ་བསྙད་དེ། བཙུན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་ཁྱི་མོ་དེ་གུམ་ལགས་སོ་ཞེས་བྱས་སོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱི་མོ་དེའི་རོ་དེ་ཕྱོགས་དབེན་པ་ཞིག་ཏུ་ཞོག་ཤིག་དང་། རུས་པ་དེ་དག་ཕྱིས་དེ་ཉིད་ལ་ཕན་འདོགས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། ། ཁྱིམ་བདག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། བཙུན་པ་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུས་ཇི་སྐད་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ་བཞིན་དུ་བགྱིའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་ཁྱི་རོ་དེ་གང་དུ་སུས་ཀྱང་མི་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་བ་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཕྱོགས་ཤིག་ཏུ་བཞག་གོ །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་གི་ཆུང་མ་དེ

见到后皈依并受持学处。之后，具寿舍利子以佛法开示那位施主，使他信受，使他欢喜，使他高兴，然后从座位上起身离去。那位施主也因此见到了真谛，布施种种，行持善业。他的家变得像乞讨者们的水坑一样。那位施主也多次邀请具寿舍利子到家中应供。之后，具寿舍利子和那位施主给那只母狗食物，并为了听法而坐在它面前。那只母狗也坐在具寿舍利子的面前听法。之后，那位施主心想：我所领悟的如此之好的任何事物，都是由于这只母狗的力量所致。他这样想后，就非常照顾它。之后，有一天那只母狗生病了，舍利子对它说：孩子，要知道一切有为法都是无常的，一切有为法都是痛苦的，一切法都是无我的，涅槃是寂静的。让我心中高兴吧，或许你也能脱离畜生的境地。说完，具寿舍利子就离开了。他离开后没多久，那只母狗也因为对具寿舍利子心生欢喜而死了。它死后转生，投生到同一个家中，成为那位施主大妻子的胎中。它死的时候，具寿舍利子再次来到那个家，施主对具寿舍利子说：尊者舍利子，那只母狗死了。具寿舍利子说：把那只母狗的尸体放在一个僻静的地方吧，那些骨头以后会对它有帮助的。施主说：尊者舍利子您怎么说我就怎么做。说完，那位施主就把母狗的尸体放在一个任何人都看不到的地方。之后，那位施主的妻子

Having seen this, he took refuge and received the precepts. Then, the venerable Shariputra thoroughly instructed that householder with a Dharma talk, made him believe, made him rejoice, and made him happy, and then rose from his seat and left. That householder also came to see the truth, gave alms, and performed virtuous deeds. His house became like a waterhole for those who begged. That householder also repeatedly invited the venerable Shariputra into his house for meals. Then, the venerable Shariputra and that householder gave food to that female dog and sat in front of it to listen to the Dharma. That female dog also sat in front of the venerable Shariputra and listened to the Dharma. Then, that householder thought: Whatever good things I have realized are all due to the power of this female dog. Having thought this, he took great care of it. Then, one day that female dog became ill, and Shariputra said to it: Child, know that all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all conditioned phenomena are suffering, all dharmas are without self, and nirvana is peace. Make my mind happy, and perhaps you will be separated from the animal realm. Having said this, the venerable Shariputra left. Not long after he left, that female dog also died because it was happy with the venerable Shariputra. After it died and passed away, it was reborn in the same house, in the womb of the great wife of that householder. When it died, the venerable Shariputra came to that house again, and the householder said to the venerable Shariputra: Venerable Shariputra, that female dog has died. The venerable Shariputra said: Put the corpse of that female dog in a secluded place, and those bones will help it later. The householder said: I will do as the venerable Shariputra says.
