།ནུ་བོ་དེས་ཀྱང་དེས་བྱ་བ་བྱས་པར་རྟོགས་ནས། དེ་དེ་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དགའ་བ་སྐྱེས་སོ། །དགའ་བ་སྐྱེས་ནས་དེ་ལ་བཀུར་སྟི་དང་ལྡན་པས་གཡོག་བྱས་སོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སངས་རྒྱས་དང་ཆོས་དང་དགེ་འདུན་ལ་ཡང་བཀུར་སྟི་བྱས་ནས། འདི་ན་དགེ་སློང་མ་རྣམས་ཕྲག་དོག་ཅན་ཡིན་པས་བདག་ལ་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་གྱི་ལམ་མི་སྟོན་ཏོ། །དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱང་སྙན་སླེབས་པར་དཀའ་སྟེ། བདག་ཅག་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ན་གནས་པ་རྣམས་ལ་གཏམ་ཟེར་དུ་ཡང་མི་བཏུབ་ན། 这样做，如果是禅定的法轮和诵经的法轮这二者，你们两个做什么？他们两个说道：首先暂时努力诵经，之后再做禅定。堪布说道：你们两个随各自喜欢去做吧。说完，就让他们暂时学习诵经了。他们两个当中，一个是轻浮的，一个是稳重的，那个稳重的在诵经完毕后就睡觉了。那时，那个轻浮的家伙就反复地在他睡觉的身上用重力压他。他就对他说：尊者，请不要再三地伤害我。但他不听他的话。之后，他生气了，为了惩罚他，就在他面前竖起一块砖头。那个僧人也为了戏弄他，又来了，压在他身上，把他的背压在砖头上，腰断了，他因此生起了比原来更厉害的痛苦。之后，弟弟也看到了他身体的痛苦，他也生起了极大的心理痛苦，心想：我做了这样不该做的事，真是罪过啊，生起了后悔之心。他就找来医生和用具，服侍哥哥的病，不久就把哥哥的背治好了。当他的背痊愈的时候，他大部分时间都感到厌倦，心想：这个腐烂的、没有意义的身体有什么用呢？于是，他通过精进、修行和努力，断除了所有的烦恼，现证了阿罗汉果位。弟弟也意识到他做了这件事，他对他感到非常高兴。高兴之后，就以恭敬的态度服侍他。同样地，他也恭敬佛、法、僧，一生行持梵行，临终时发愿：我这样恭敬佛、法、僧，一生行持梵行，虽然没有获得任何功德，但现在以此善根，愿我无论生于何处，都能生于富裕、财富众多、享受丰厚的家族中。愿我能早日成就圆满正觉的佛陀。

Having done so, if these two are the wheel of meditation and the wheel of recitation, what will you two do? The two of them said: First, we will strive for recitation for a while, and later we will meditate. The abbot said: Do as you two please. Having said that, he let them learn recitation for a while. Among the two of them, one was frivolous, and one was stable. The stable one would sleep after finishing recitation. At that time, the frivolous one would repeatedly press down on him while he was sleeping. He said to him: Venerable, please do not harm me again and again. But he did not listen to him. Then, he became angry and erected a brick in front of him in order to punish him. That monk also came again to tease him. He pressed down on him, pressing his back on the brick, breaking his waist, and he suffered even greater pain than before. Then, the younger brother also saw the suffering of his body, and he also felt great mental pain, thinking: It is wrong that I have done such an unnecessary thing, and he felt regret. He brought doctors and tools, served his brother's illness, and soon healed his brother's back. When his back was healed, he mostly felt weary, thinking: What is the use of this rotten, meaningless body? Then, through diligence, practice, and effort, he abandoned all defilements and directly realized the state of an Arhat. The younger brother also realized that he had done this, and he was very happy for him. After being happy, he served him with respect. Similarly, he also respected the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, practiced celibacy for one lifetime, and made a prayer at the time of death: Having respected the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha in this way, and having practiced celibacy for one lifetime, although I have not obtained any accumulation of merit, now by this root of virtue, may I be born in a wealthy, rich, and prosperous family wherever I am born. May I quickly attain the state of a fully enlightened Buddha.

愿我能取悦于燃灯佛所预言的婆罗门童子导师之佛陀薄伽梵，不要令其不悦。 愿我唯于彼之教法中出家，断除一切烦恼，现证阿罗汉果。愿我不成为我曾对如此清净之有情造成损害之业的承受者。若我必须承受彼业之果报成熟，亦愿薄伽梵消除我身心之损害。比丘们，你们怎么想？彼时于圆满正觉燃灯佛之教法中出家者，即是此比丘。彼因愤怒而折断兄长腰椎之业的果报成熟，故无论生于何处，其腰椎皆断裂。彼曾于彼处发愿：若我必须承受彼业之果报成熟，亦愿薄伽梵消除我身心之损害。因此，如今我已将此人从两种损害中完全救护。彼曾于彼处发愿：愿我无论生于何处，皆生于富裕、多财、享用丰盛之族姓中。又，圆满正觉燃灯佛所预言之婆罗门童子导师之佛陀薄伽梵，愿我能取悦于彼，不要令其不悦。愿我唯于彼之教法中出家，断除一切烦恼，现证阿罗汉果。以彼业之果报成熟故，此人无论生于何处，皆生于富裕、多财、享用丰盛之族姓中。比丘们，我已证得与圆满正觉燃灯佛极其相同、力量相同、事业相同、方便相同。此人已取悦于我，未令我不悦，且于我之教法中出家，断除一切烦恼，现证阿罗汉果。 复有一事，佛住舍卫城祇陀林时。

May I please the Buddha Bhagavan, the Brahmin boy teacher prophesied by Dipamkara Buddha, and may I not displease him. May I renounce in that very doctrine, abandon all defilements, and realize Arhatship. May I not be the recipient of the karma of harming such a pure sentient being. Even if the fruit of that karma must ripen for me, may the Bhagavan eliminate the harm to my body and mind. Monks, what do you think? He who at that time renounced in the teachings of the perfectly enlightened Dipamkara Buddha is this monk. Due to the ripening of the karma of breaking his brother's spine in anger, wherever he was born, his spine was broken. He prayed there: Even if the fruit of that karma must ripen for me, may the Bhagavan eliminate the harm to my body and mind. Therefore, I have now completely protected this person from both harms. He prayed there: May I be born wherever I am born, in a wealthy, rich, and prosperous family. Furthermore, the Buddha Bhagavan, the Brahmin boy teacher prophesied by the perfectly enlightened Dipamkara Buddha, may I please him, and may I not displease him. May I renounce in that very doctrine, abandon all defilements, and realize Arhatship. Due to the ripening of that karma, this person, wherever he was born, was born into a wealthy, rich, and prosperous family. Monks, I have attained the same, the same power, the same deeds, and the same means as the perfectly enlightened Dipamkara Buddha. The bhikkhuni Tsonmo Gawmo lived in the bhikkhuni's monastery called the King's Garden. I will strive to develop magical powers." She also thought: "Who can teach me the secret mantra of magical powers? If I go to the bhikkhunis, they are jealous and will not teach me the method of magical powers. It is also difficult for the bhikkus to hear, since we who live in the monastery are not even allowed to speak, let alone teach the secret mantra of magical powers. Rather, I should go to the group of six bhikkus, since they are my relatives, and always wish me well and want to help me. They might be able to teach me the method of magical powers. What should I do? First, I will bribe them with wealth, and then I will ask them for this matter." Thinking this, she invited them and personally satisfied them with many clean and delicious foods, and then prostrated at their feet, saying: "Venerables, please listen to me. I want to attain magical powers, please teach me the method of magical powers, please impart to me the secret mantra of magical powers. Through your power, I will be able to attain magical powers."
