and do, therefore you will not happen. From desires arise sorrows, from desires arise fears. If desires are completely abandoned, there is no sorrow and no fear. From joys arise sorrows, from joys arise fears. If joys are completely abandoned, there is no sorrow and no fear. The result of desire and joy is suffering, the beginning is sweet, the end is bitter. Do not be like a child playing with a torch, who will be burned in the end. For the jewel earrings of sons and daughters, see what kind of attachment you have. The noble ones say that shackles made of ironwood or rough materials are not strong. The noble ones say that whatever the shackles of desire, even if loosened, are difficult to untie. Steadfast ones do not look at the pleasure of desires, they cut them off and quickly depart. Whatever the variety of the world, it is not desire, but the delusions, attachments, and desires of people. Although the variety of the world exists as it is, yet steadfast people subdue their desires for it. People do not have eternal desires, and for those who have desires, what they crave is impermanent. Therefore, in order to not be reborn again, completely abandon with your mind, and know that you should not become a place of death. Do desires arise but not cause exhaustion? Those who have no faults in their minds, have mindfulness, and are not attached to various desires, the noble ones say that they are the ones who ascend upwards. Just as a blacksmith smelts silver, a wise person gradually, little by little, removes their own impurities. Just as a shoemaker tans leather to make shoes, whatever desires are abandoned, that much perfect bliss is obtained. If you want all happiness, then completely abandon all desires. Because all desires are completely abandoned, the ultimate bliss will be obtained. As long as you follow desires, you will never be satisfied. Those who turn away from desires with wisdom, they will obtain satisfaction. Because desires do not bring satisfaction, it is happy to be satisfied with wisdom. People who obtain satisfaction with wisdom will not become slaves of samsara. Whatever people are attached to desires, alas, those are not the happiness of Dharma. When living a little, you will not see obstacles. Abandon bad wisdom.

Conquered by desire, They do not seek outside. Due to confused thoughts and craving for desires, Self and others are destroyed together. Even if a rain of gold coins falls, Desires cannot be satisfied. Desires have little enjoyment and much suffering, The wise have understood this. Even for the desires of the gods, They will not be more delighted. The fully enlightened Buddhas and Shravakas, Are pleased by the cessation of craving. Even if there were a mountain of gold, Equal to the snowy mountains, One cannot be satisfied with that wealth, Understand this and practice well. Those who know the cause of suffering, Will never rejoice in desires. Knowing that the world is the source of pain, They study the teachings to tame them. The second chapter on desires. Sentient beings are thoroughly conquered by discrimination, Following the pure appearance in the impure, The field of desire grows greatly, Tightly binding themselves with their own bonds. Those who delight in the pacification of discrimination, Always remember the meditation on ugliness, By completely abandoning their craving, They rot their own bonds. Desire is covered like darkness, Covered by the covering of craving, Bound by the bonds of carelessness, Like a fish trapped in a trap. Men who act carelessly, Craving grows like a creeper, Following old age and death, Like a calf desiring milk from its mother's udder. People remember, are attached, And think about pleasant things, Therefore, they wander in samsara again and again, Like a monkey desiring fruit in a garden. People Who always desire happiness, Will approach birth and old age, Beings are driven forward by cravings, Like a rabbit running in a net. Sentient beings bound by cravings, Their minds are attached to existence and non-existence, Like children who enjoy the taste of impurities, They will suffer again and again. Beings are separated from accomplishment and happiness, Corresponding to the actions of demons, Following old age and death, Like a calf desiring milk from its mother's udder. If one abandons such craving here, Then one can
