Also completely seeing, they are sometimes surrounded by a host of goddesses, and go to a garden called Flower Garland. That garden is adorned with rivers, lotus ponds, and various lotus groves, and beautified with the sounds of heavenly music, and is filled with hosts of gods and goddesses who are extremely joyful. In that garden, the trees are adorned with flowers and many fruits, emitting the sounds of heavenly music, and emitting the sweet chirping of birds. That garden is surrounded by trees of various jewels, such as, surrounded by flowers of constant joy and great joy, mandārava Mandārava), lotuses, and scents as desired. The power of the fragrance of those flowers is such that whatever fragrance the gods desire, that fragrance emanates from those flowers, and one flower can perform the function of the fragrance of all those flowers. In that Flower Garland garden, the gods who are extremely joyful and dancing, having become friends with each other, go to a place called the Five Flower Garden. There is also a bird called the Time-Rememberer, who, seeing those gods, speaks in verses with connected words like this: Merit is truly delightful, those are excellent fruits. There is no protection like merit, therefore practice merit. Merit is the best of friends, merit is an inexhaustible treasure. Merit is like a lamp, similarly like father and mother. If you practice merit, you can become a god of beings, merit can lead to good destinies. Those who practice merit in the human realm can rejoice in the heavenly realm. Like this, a person with great merit will always have happiness. There is no happiness like merit, therefore rely on merit. It benefits both worlds and becomes the cause of joy and wealth. It is always seen that merit is like this, therefore merit has supreme bliss. Always follow merit, it follows like a shadow. Therefore merit is supreme bliss, there is no happiness like merit. The gods who have exhausted their merit will fall behind their own deeds. The results of good and bad in the world,

Therefore, one should practice virtuous deeds properly. Wherever we are in the heavenly realms, we can all abide in the agreed-upon animal realms. If it becomes the cause of non-virtue, then the mind becomes bewildered by one's own actions. Those who have little merit are difficult to tame and always go to evil realms. Just as there is no oil in sand, where can there be happiness for them? Those who are deluded by the mind completely abandon merit. They have no happiness, and their suffering is endless. They are born and die again and again. Those gods who are intoxicated with pleasure have no lasting happiness. Those who are bound by karma and deluded by ignorance wander like a wheel from beginningless samsara. The suffering of death that the gods will experience from the heavenly realms is worse than hell, and there is no comparison for it. The end of happiness is always falling. Why don't they know this? The gods look upon the immortal realm as if they are deluded by pleasure. Although the world of birth and death cannot be counted, people who are completely deluded by craving do not generate aversion in their minds. Then, after those gods heard the sound of the heavenly bird, they remembered it a little. But again, they were controlled by that very carelessness. All those who indulge in existence through craving always depend on the mind. In that garden of garlands, those who dwell in happiness beyond happiness dance and sing with the five kinds of musical instruments. They laugh and play. In a place that has become like a village woman, carelessness burns constantly like a fire, wandering from village to village, from nearby garden to nearby garden, from mountaintop to mountaintop, from palace to palace, from lotus pond to lotus pond, and from the top of a jewel mountain to the top of a jewel mountain. In this way, the gods are chased by goddesses and sensual pleasures. The gods rejoice in that heavenly realm until the desirable and pleasing karma is exhausted. After that is exhausted, they will fall again. After falling, they will be reborn in the cycle of hell beings, hungry ghosts, and animals, just as karma leads them.
