Then, like this: named "Mountain Touching the Sky," named "Mountain Without Shadow," named "Mountain All Delight," and named "Mountain Wishful Manifestation," and so on. Those mountains are distinguished by jewels, very beautiful, and adorned with gardens of gold. On the mountaintops, the assembly of gods, with hearts exceedingly joyful, always emit the sound of singing. Streams of water and cool, clean fields, and lotus ponds, always adorn them. Birds are always intoxicated, their sounds pleasing to the ear, and the birds that emit sounds are nearby. In those medicinal regions of the mountain areas that are extremely beautiful to the eye, those gods who act according to their own karma are delighted, wander, play, and enjoy all kinds of pleasures. Surrounded by virtuous goddesses, and surrounded by intoxicated, sound-emitting birds, and many intoxicated golden bees, all those gods, together with their retinues, rejoice in the houses of divine vines that are pleasant to the touch. Dwelling there in that way, as long as the karma of desire, which is beautiful, satisfying, and does not revert from being a god, is not exhausted, they continue to rejoice. When that karma is exhausted, they will die from that class of gods, and after death, just as karma leads, they will wander completely in the cycle of beings in hells, hungry ghosts, and animals. If, by chance, they are born among humans with equal fortune, then, in accordance with that karma, they will always be born into a very noble lineage, and will be very wealthy, worshipped by all, possessing a beautiful form that is in harmony, possessing a corresponding share of fortune, without defects, and possessing male servants, female servants, and people; these things will be seen. Then, again, the monk who knows the ripening of the fruits of karma will contemplate the abode of the third class of gods, the Paranirmitavasavartins. With the knowledge arising from hearing, he sees how the divine abode of the gods is called Attachment. Thinking, 'Which beings will be born there?' he examines with the knowledge arising from hearing, having exhausted the limits of well-done deeds.

Furthermore, if someone is very attached to something and has a kind heart, they might pour a cup of water for a friend, or cover wells to protect travelers from mosquitoes, insects, and long-beaked flies. They might think that if these poisonous creatures fall into the water, travelers might die as a result. Even if they have nothing else to do, they would cover the well out of compassion, in order to help other people who need to drink water. Then, that virtuous person, after passing away, will be reborn in a happy realm, that is, the heavenly realm, in the place of the gods who serve the deities, which is called "Attachment." Having been born there, his body will shine like a second sun. All of his body will be adorned by the good deeds he has done. Mountains, hills, valleys, and rivers are inhabited by goddesses who are in accordance with his behavior, who have beautiful bodies, youth, and various ornaments, and who surround him. He will be immersed in various beautiful forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations, and will enjoy supreme happiness. In those places, there are mountains and gardens surrounded by trees of seven precious jewels, such as the garden that never ages, where the flowers never fade and the fragrance never dissipates. There is also a place called "Golden Shadow Garden," where golden vines are woven into nets and adorned with lapis lazuli bees, and peacocks and cuckoos sing. Those birds also have feathers of seven precious jewels and make sweet and pleasant sounds. There, he will see very delightful sights with his own eyes and feel very happy. There are various kinds of birds there, which are colorful and have bright feathers, and which are able to arouse desire in the hearts of the gods. They make sounds, and when the gods hear them, they are very surprised, and they feel that these birds are very similar to the gods, and that these birds are able to make the sounds that we desire in our hearts.
