་གྱི་བདག་གིས་མི་ཤེས་སོ། །མི་ཤེས་པར་ནི་སྤང་བར་མི་བྱ་སྟེ། མདོ་སྡེའི་ཚུལ་འདི་ལྟ་བུའི་ཚིག་བཞི་པའི་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་པ་ཙམ་ལ་ཡང་སྤང་བ་བྱས་ན་དེ་སྔ་མ་ཇི་ཙམ་དུ་གྱུར་པ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་བསོད་ནམས་མ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕུང་པོ་ཡོངས་སུ་འཛིན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བས་ན་རིགས་ཀྱི་བུའམ་རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་མོས་སྤང་བར་མི་བྱའོ། །དགའ་བར་བྱའོ། །མདོ་སྡེ་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་ལ་གང་བདག་གིས་མ་སྤངས་པས་བདག་བསྐལ་པར་གནས་པའི་ལས་ལས་གྲོལ་བར་གྱུར་ཏེ། དམ་པའི་ཆོས་སྤོང་བར་བྱེད་པ་སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་པ་དེ་དག་གི་དྲུང་དུ་ནི་བདག་གནས་པར་མི་བྱའོ་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། གང་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་འདི་ཉན་པ་དེ་དག་གིས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་གསུང་དབྱངས་རབ་ཏུ་འཛིན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བཅུ་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་དཔག་མེད་ལྡན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ན། དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་འོད་ཆེན་པོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་འོད་ཆེན་པོའི་མཚན་གང་དག་ཉན་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་། དད་པ་ཡང་སྐྱེད་པ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དང་མི་འབྲལ་བར་འགྱུར་ཞིང་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ལས་ཀྱང་ཕྱིར་མི་ལྡོག་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་ རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་སྟོང་ཕྲག་དྲུག་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་མེ་ཏོག་ཅན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ན་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་དབྱངས་དཔག་མེད་ཅེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དབྱངས་དཔག་མེད་ཀྱི་མཚན་གང་དག་ཉན་པ་དང་། ཐོས་ནས་ཀྱང་དད་པ་སྐྱེད་ཅིང་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་དེ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ་ཞེས་ཆེད་དུ་བརྗོད་པ་ལན་གསུམ་བརྗོད་པ་དེ་དག་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་གསུང་དབྱངས་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པའི་དབྱངས་འཛིན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བཞིན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་རྡུལ་མེད་ཅེས་བྱ་བ་ན། དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་བདུད་རྩི་དབྱངས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་བདུད་རྩི་དབྱངས་ཀྱི་མཚན་གང་དག་ཐོས་པར་གྱུར་ལ་ཐོས་ནས་ཀྱང་མོས་པར་བྱེད་པ་དེ་དག་ནི། བསྐལ་པ་བཅུ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་འཁོར་བ་ལ་རྒྱབ་ཀྱིས་ཕྱོགས་པ་བྱས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་སྟོང་ཕྲག་ཉི་ཤུའི་ཕ་རོལ་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་གདུ

我不明白啊。不明白就不要舍弃。像这样经典里的四句偈，如果舍弃，那之前的会变成什么样呢？会像那样完全执持非福德的蕴聚。舍利子，因此，善男子或善女子不应舍弃，应当欢喜。像这样的经典，我没有舍弃，所以我从安住于劫的业中解脱了。我心里想，我不要住在那些舍弃正法、堕入地狱的众生那里。凡是听闻这个法门的人，都会完全领受佛陀的妙音。从这里往东，经过十千个佛土，有一个名为无量具足的世界，那里住着一位如来、应供、正等觉，名为大光。舍利子，凡是听闻大光佛的名号，并且生起信心的人，都将不会与佛陀世尊分离，并且也不会从无上正等菩提中退转。从这里往东，经过六千个佛土，有一个名为具花的世界，那里住着一位如来、应供、正等觉，名为无量音。舍利子，凡是听闻无量音如来的名号，听闻后生起信心，并且特意念诵三次“顶礼如来、应供、正等觉”的人，都会领受佛陀无量妙音。从这里往东，经过四千个佛土，有一个名为无尘的世界，那里住着一位如来、应供、正等觉，名为甘露音。舍利子，凡是听闻甘露音如来的名号，听闻后心生欢喜的人，将在十二劫中背离轮回。从这里往东，经过两万个佛土，有一个名为调伏

I do not understand. One should not abandon what one does not understand. If one abandons even a four-line verse like this from the sutras, what will become of the previous ones? One will, in that way, completely grasp the heap of non-merit. Shariputra, therefore, a son or daughter of good family should not abandon it. One should rejoice. Because I have not abandoned such a sutra, I have been liberated from the karma of abiding in a kalpa. I think to myself, 'I should not dwell among those sentient beings who abandon the sacred Dharma and fall into hell.' Those who hear this Dharma discourse will fully grasp the melodious voice of the Buddha. From here, ten thousand Buddha-fields to the east, there is a world called Immeasurable Abundance, where dwells the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, called Great Light. Shariputra, those who hear the name of Great Light and generate faith will never be separated from the Buddha, the Bhagavan, and will never turn back from the Unsurpassed, Perfect, and Complete Enlightenment. From here, six thousand Buddha-fields to the east, there is a world called Possessing Flowers, where dwells the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, called Immeasurable Sound. Shariputra, those who hear the name of the Tathagata Immeasurable Sound, and having heard it, generate faith, and specifically recite three times, 'I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha,' will grasp the immeasurable melodious voice of the Buddha. From here, four thousand Buddha-fields to the east, there is a world called Dustless, where dwells the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, called Ambrosial Sound. Shariputra, those who hear the name of the Tathagata Ambrosial Sound, and having heard it, feel devotion, will turn their backs on samsara for twelve kalpas. From here, twenty thousand Buddha-fields beyond, there is a world called Taming.

ལ་དཀའ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་དེ་ན་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་གྲགས་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་གྲགས་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་མཚན་གང་དག་ཉན་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་ཡོངས་སུ་སྒྲོགས་ཤིང་འཛིན་པ་ནི་བདུད་སྡིག་ཅན་གྱིས་རབ་ཏུ་གདུལ་དཀའ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བཅུ་གཉིས་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་བདེ་བ་ཅན་ན་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་གྲགས་པ་མཐའ་ཡས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་གྲགས་པ་མཐའ་ཡས་དེའི་མཚན་གང་དག་ཉན་པ་དང་། ཐལ་མོ་སྦྱོར་ཞིང་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་གྲགས་པ་མཐའ་ཡས་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ་ཞེས་ཚིག་ཏུ་སྨྲ་བ་དེ་དག་ནི་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོ་ཚད་མེད་པ་དང་ལྡན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ཕུང་པོ་རི་རབ་དང་མཉམ་པ་ལོ་བརྒྱར་སྦྱིན་པ་བྱིན་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་ ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོ་འདིས་སྔ་མ་དེའི་བརྒྱའི་ཆར་ཡང་ཉེ་བར་མི་འགྲོ་བ་ནས་རྒྱུའི་བར་དུ་ཡང་མི་བཟོད་དོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་སྟོང་ཕྲག་གསུམ་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་མན་ཤེལ་ཅན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ན་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་རིན་ཆེན་སྣང་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་རིན་ཆེན་སྣང་འདིའི་མཚན་གང་དག་འཛིན་པ་དེ་དག་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་བཅུར་འཁོར་བ་ལ་རྒྱབ་ཀྱིས་ཕྱོགས་པ་བྱས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ལས་ཀྱང་ཕྱིར་མི་ལྡོག་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཡང་གང་དག་དད་པར་མི་བྱེད་པ་དེ་དག་ནི་བསྐལ་པར་མཚམས་མེད་པར་གནས་པའི་ལས་ཡོངས་སུ་འཛིན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བཅྭ་ལྔ་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་འོད་གསལ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ན་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་བདེ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་ཐོབ་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་བདེ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་ཐོབ་པའི་མཚན་གང་དག་ཉན་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་བདེ་བར་སྒྲོལ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་ཕུང་པོ་ཚད་མེད་པ་ཡང་ཡོངས་སུ་འཛིན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བདུན་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་ནོར་བུ་སྣང་བ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ན་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་སྐར་མ་མར་མེ་སྣང་བ་ཞེ

在那名为拉嘎的地方，有如来、应供、正等觉，名号为大名声。舍利子，凡是听闻、完全宣说和受持那位如来大名声的名号的人，都难以被恶魔所调伏。从这里往东，经过一万二千个佛土，在名为极乐世界的世界里，有如来、应供、正等觉，名号为无量名声。舍利子，凡是听闻那位如来无量名声的名号，合掌并说“顶礼如来、应供、正等觉无量名声”的人，都将具有无量的功德聚。用与须弥山相等的珍宝聚，在一百年里布施所获得的功德聚，也无法接近先前功德的百分之一，乃至无法忍受其果报。从这里往东，经过三千个佛土，在名为琉璃的世界里，有如来、应供、正等觉，名号为珍宝光。舍利子，凡是受持这位如来珍宝光名号的人，都将背离十劫的轮回。也将从无上正等菩提中不退转。还有那些不信仰的人，将受持在劫中无间地狱的业报。从这里往东，经过一万五千个佛土，在名为光明世界的世界里，有如来、应供、正等觉，名号为获得大乐。舍利子，凡是听闻那位如来获得大乐名号的人，都将救度一切众生获得安乐。也将完全受持无量的功德聚。从这里往东，经过七千个佛土，在名为宝光世界的世界里，有如来、应供、正等觉，名号为星火光。

In that place called La-ka, there resides the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, named Great Fame. Shariputra, those who hear, fully proclaim, and uphold the name of that Tathagata Great Fame will be very difficult for the evil one to subdue. From here, across twelve thousand Buddha-fields to the east, in the world called Sukhavati, there resides the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, named Infinite Fame. Shariputra, those who hear the name of that Tathagata Infinite Fame, join their palms, and say, "I prostrate to the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha Infinite Fame," will possess immeasurable accumulations of merit. The accumulation of merit from giving away a pile of jewels equal to Mount Meru for a hundred years will not even come close to one-hundredth of the former, nor will it be able to endure its result. From here, across three thousand Buddha-fields to the east, in the world called Crystal, there resides the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, named Jewel Light. Shariputra, those who uphold the name of this Tathagata Jewel Light will turn their backs on ten kalpas of samsara. They will also become irreversible from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Furthermore, those who do not have faith will fully take upon themselves the karma of abiding in the Avici hell for kalpas. From here, across fifteen thousand Buddha-fields to the east, in the world called Radiant Light, there resides the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, named Attained Great Bliss. Shariputra, all those who hear the name of that Tathagata Attained Great Bliss will liberate all sentient beings into happiness. They will also fully take upon themselves immeasurable accumulations of merit. From here, across seven thousand Buddha-fields to the east, in the world called Jewel Light, there resides the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, named Star Fire Light.

ས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་སྐར་མ་མར་མེ་སྣང་བ་དེའི་མཚན་གང་དག་ཉན་པ་དང་། དད་པར་གྱུར་པ་དེ་དག་གང་འདི་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་སྟོབས་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་སྟོབས་དེ་དག་རབ་ཏུ་འཛིན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཞིང་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བརྒྱད་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་བདེ་ལྡན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ན་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་བདེན་པའི་དབྱངས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་བདེན་པའི་དབྱངས་དེའི་མཚན་གང་དག་ཉན་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་འཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་བརྒྱ་ཕྲག་ཉི་ཤུ་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་གསེར་ཅན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ན། དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་ བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་དྲི་མེད་མཐའ་ཡས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་གང་གིས་སྟོང་གསུམ་གྱི་སྟོང་ཆེན་པོའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་འདི་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་བདུན་གྱིས་ཡོངས་སུ་བཀང་སྟེ་སྦྱིན་པ་བྱིན་པ་བས། དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དྲི་མེད་མཐའ་ཡས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉན་ཅིང་དད་པ་ཡང་སྐྱེད་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དེ་དག་ནི་དེ་བས་ཆེས་བསོད་ནམས་འདི་མང་དུ་འཕེལ་ལོ། །བསོད་ནམས་ཆུང་ངུས་ནི་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དྲི་མེད་མཐའ་ཡས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཐོས་པར་མི་ནུས་སོ། །གང་དག་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དྲི་མེད་མཐའ་ཡས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཐོས་པ་དེ་དག་ནི་སངས་རྒྱས་གཅིག་ལ་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་བསྐྱེད་པ་མ་ཡིན། གཉིས་དང་གསུམ་དང་བཞི་དང་ལྔ་ནས་བཅུའི་བར་དུ་མ་ཡིན་གྱི་སེམས་ཅན་དེ་དག་གིས་ནི་སངས་རྒྱས་བརྒྱ་ལ་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་བསྐྱེད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེ་དག་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་ལྔ་བཅུ་རྩ་བརྒྱད་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་འཁོར་བ་ལ་རྒྱབ་ཀྱིས་ཕྱོགས་པ་བྱས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་སྟོང་ཕྲག་དགུ་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་དབྱངས་ཅན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ན་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཟླ་བ་ལྟར་དཀར་བ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་ཏེ། ཡང་ཤཱ་རིའི་བུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་ཟླ་བ་ལྟར་དཀར་བའི་མཚན་གང་དག་ཉན་པ་དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་ཆོས་དཀར་པོ་ཡང་ཟླ་བ་ལྟ་བུར་འགྱུར་ཞིང་ཐམས་ཅད་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ལས་ཕྱིར་མི་ལྡོག་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་སྟོང་གི་ཐ་མ་ན་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་ཉི་མ་ཅན་ན་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཟླ་འོད་ཅེས་བྱ་བ་བ

地品。 再者，舍利子，凡是听闻如来星火光佛之名，并心生信仰者，他们将完全掌握如来之力的力量。从这里往东，经过八千佛土，有一个名为乐有的世界，如来、应供、正等觉者真语如来住于彼处。再者，舍利子，凡是听闻真语如来之名者，都将获得无上正等菩提。从这里往东，经过二百佛土，有一个名为金的世界，如来、应供、正等觉者无垢无边如来住于彼处。再者，舍利子，若有人以七宝充满三千大千世界并布施，不如听闻如来无垢无边之名并生起信仰，他们的福德将更加增长。以微小的福德无法听闻如来无垢无边之名。凡是听闻如来无垢无边之名者，并非仅在一个佛处种下善根。不是两个、三个、四个、五个乃至十个，而是这些众生已在百佛处种下善根。他们将在五十八劫中背离轮回。从这里往东，经过九千佛土，有一个名为妙音的世界，如来、应供、正等觉者如月白如来住于彼处。再者，舍利子，凡是听闻如月白如来之名者，他们的一切白法也将如月亮般，并且都将获得无上正等菩提，永不退转。从这里往东，经过一千佛土，有一个名为日有的世界，如来、应供、正等觉者月光如来住于彼处。

The Chapter on Earth. Furthermore, Shariputra, those who hear the name of the Tathagata Star-Fire Light and develop faith will fully grasp the power of the Tathagata's strength. From here, eastward, passing through eight thousand Buddha-fields, there is a world called Joyful, where the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, True Speech Tathagata resides. Furthermore, Shariputra, all those who hear the name of the Tathagata True Speech will attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. From here, eastward, passing through two hundred Buddha-fields, there is a world called Golden, where the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, Immaculate Infinite Tathagata resides. Furthermore, Shariputra, if someone were to fill this three-thousand-great-thousand world with the seven precious jewels and give them as alms, it would be less meritorious than hearing the name of the Tathagata Immaculate Infinite and generating faith. Their merit would increase even more. With small merit, one cannot hear the name of the Tathagata Immaculate Infinite. Those who hear the name of the Tathagata Immaculate Infinite have not only planted roots of virtue in one Buddha-field. Not two, three, four, five, or even ten, but these beings have planted roots of virtue in a hundred Buddha-fields. They will turn their backs on samsara for fifty-eight kalpas. From here, eastward, passing through nine thousand Buddha-fields, there is a world called Melodious, where the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, Moon-like White Tathagata resides. Furthermore, Shariputra, all those who hear the name of the Tathagata Moon-like White, all their white dharmas will become like the moon, and all will attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, never to regress. From here, eastward, passing through the end of a thousand Buddha-fields, there is a world called Solar, where the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, Moonlight Tathagata resides.
