All matters of conduct have been reported. The Blessed One declared: For example, the various plays of a lion, the various stretches of a lion, the crest of a lion, the various manifestations of a lion, the power of extreme stability, the vajra of wisdom as a weapon, Light Protector and so forth, the names of bodhisattvas who constantly engage in diligence, whoever hears them, all of them will obtain the eighteen unmixed dharmas of the Buddha of the Form Holder adorned with all jewels. They will also subsequently obtain the lineage of jewels. They will also find the wheel of dharma of non-retrogression. They will turn their backs on the cycle of existence for a full hundred kalpas. Then, at that time, the Blessed One spoke these verses: The world is a lineage of jewels, Adorned by all great lineages, There the Buddha dwells, Surrounded by heroes. The name of that lamp of the world, Is superior to all jewels, The Form Holder who is well adorned, Is the Dharma Banner Victory Banner Righteous One, Surrounded by bodhisattvas, The guide shows the dharmas. One who has not revolved in the world, Turns the wheel of non-retrogression. Having heard that name, They will not revolve for a hundred kalpas, And will also obtain the wheel of non-retrogression, The unsurpassed wheel. Whoever recites the name, Those kings of dharma, And those who dwell in the self-born place, Or even the realms of the world. Name and lineage are completely pure, Conduct is also completely pure, The eye of dharma is pure, All dharmas are completely purified. By the realm of conduct of the wise, To the unsurpassed wisdom, Whatever many beings, Shariputra who is extremely desirous. Whoever appears in a later time, At a time of extreme fear, This dharma will be well heard, Those who listen and develop faith, Without doubt, Shariputra has made offerings to me. Just as a jewel is priceless, The poor are disheartened when they see it, Whoever finds the jewel, From where does such wealth come? Thus it is.

Even the unsurpassed Buddha, If heard with meager merit, Those with wisdom who harm the eyes, How could they have faith in them? Many treasures and storehouses, Having heard of precious jewels, Saying, "It should be very well adorned," They seek them again and again. Likewise, great wisdom also, Having heard the name of the Buddha, Saying, "How can enlightenment be touched?" They seek it completely. Those who possess inferior deeds, Those who desire evil and are deceitful, For those without wisdom and merit, There is no such hearing. Those who are stained by desire, Or those who are blinded by ignorance, Those who are overwhelmed by attachment, There is no such hearing. Those who are proud and arrogant, Those who are lazy and narrow-minded, Those who are diligent in other heretical paths, There is no such hearing. The gods of hundreds of thousands, "Alas, Buddha! Alas, Dharma! Alas, Sangha! Unsurpassed!" Thus, at that time, the sound is also proclaimed. Also raining down showers of flowers, Scattering throughout this three thousand worlds. Playing millions of musical instruments. Anointing the ground with incense. After this field becomes visible, It is shaken in six ways. This accumulation of excellent flowers, The Sutra is well explained. At that time, whoever's retinue, Except for the Buddha's boundary place, All other listeners, Will become unsurpassed Buddhas. In all ten directions, From fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, After the Bodhisattvas arrive, Having listened, they return separately. When this Sutra is spoken, Many monks are diminished. All of them become Arhats. They see the guide. There are hundreds of thousands of monks, Nuns are also the same, Completing sixty thousand, At that time, they obtain forbearance in the Dharma. For the unborn Dharmas, After obtaining unsurpassed forbearance, They see the Buddhas, And also explain the Dharma to sentient beings. There are five hundred nuns, There are forty laywomen. With their own clothes, They offer to the body of the Thus Gone One. After the Bhagavan spoke thus, the venerable Shariputra rejoiced. Those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, those monks, gods, and humans.
