The beings of the past all went to attend upon the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the ten directions. Then, in the presence of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, I made aspirations of this kind: 'Now, in a Buddha-field that is exceedingly pure, I will show beings the path of patience that goes beyond aging and death, and in the Buddha-fields of the ten directions, which are as many as the sands of the Ganges, I will show beings the path of patience that goes to the other shore of aging and death.' However I abandon evil, I will strive with such conduct and accomplish great strength. Likewise, in all the Buddha-fields of the ten directions that are far beyond seven intermediate kalpas, which are as many as the sands of the Ganges, I have accomplished such great strength in the guise of a wanderer. In each Buddha-field, I have placed countless beings in the patience of taming with the color of the sky, which is the conduct of perfect practice. I have caused countless beings to be joined to the mind of enlightenment. Likewise, I have caused them to be joined to the vehicle of the Hearers, the vehicle of the Solitary Buddhas, and the vehicle of gods and humans. That abandonment of evil, I, with seven intermediate kalpas, in the empty Buddha-fields of the ten directions, and in each of these Buddha-fields of the Buddha-fields of the five degenerations, as many as the sands of the Ganges, accomplished such great strength in the guise of a wanderer. Later, in those four continents, I became a demon. There, in front of some beings, I appeared in the form of Brahma, in order to free them from the false view of permanence; sometimes in the form of Indra, sometimes in the form of the moon and sun, sometimes in the form of Ishvara, and sometimes even in the form of a radiant mass of aggregates. How I previously, in the form of a wanderer, cultivated the patience of taming with the color of the sky, which is the conduct of perfect practice, and showed how to fully understand in a way that is non-dual with the dharmadhatu that is naturally pure, and how my realm is with beings

One should fully know the characteristic of non-existence in the boundary of the two. Thus, the door of the eye's form has no transfer, no distinction, and the Dharma of non-duality will be taught. Why is that? All Dharmas are without sentient beings, starting from being separated from sentient beings, and all Dharmas are without elaboration, up to being separated from the actions of body, speech, and mind. Great King, Treasury of the Rays of Merit, when I meditate on this path of bliss in such a way with the appearance of constant wandering, I generate the view in order to fully ripen sentient beings. After that, in those places where the four continents have not formed, some demons approached those sentient beings with forms ranging from the form of Brahma to the color of fire. To those sentient beings who have fallen into extremely untamed views, they show such a path. Some said this: Hey, sentient beings, come here! Hey, sentient beings, well done! In order to cross to the other shore of samsara and be liberated from old age and death, you must strive for the root of virtue! You alone completely go to Nirvana, and I will show you the path to Nirvana. You, naked, should diligently transcend those days day and night! Obtain liberation in this way! Again, some said this: You are liberated here, from becoming naked to wearing leather clothes! Again, some said this: Hey, come here, from eating leaves to eating indigestible things and vomit! Again, some said this: Hey, come here, you should eat in this way, from not taking food from the mouth of a pot to eating food! Again, some said this: Come here, you should diligently spend the days and nights with one begging! Again, some said this: From sitting on a bed of thorns and cushions to a squatting bed, do it! Again, some said this: From becoming abandoning the mat to wrapping both feet around the branches of a tree, diligently spend the days and nights! Again, some said this: Come here, you enter the water, and come on the fifth day!

In a dry place, you should spend the days and nights correctly. And some say this: Come here, those who are combined with practice after shaving their hair and beards, should spend the days and nights very correctly, and some even teach this in the mud by the water. You should fall from that cliff of the mountain, letting yourselves fall into the water. Some are also taught in this way. Come here! Pay homage to the mountain, the tree, and the goddess of the pavilion! Some learn from the asceticism of the yakshas to the asceticism of the birthplaces of animals, and attain liberation. And some say this: Come, kill many beings who are surrounded, and thereby attain liberation! Some teach in this way. You should attain liberation by killing various bodies here! And some say this: The path to understanding nirvana is like this: the cessation of all karma is liberation. If asked how that is, just as this person's unwholesome karma ceases, so too will merit cease. When these two, merit and sin, are completely exhausted, then later, enlightenment will be attained. Some teach in this way. The combination and arising of those two is liberation, some teach in this way. Those two non-existents are not existent things. Which two? Dharma and non-dharma, this is the remainder of speech. The wisdom of this body, unpolluted by other bodies, arises, that too is liberation, some teach in this way. You should kill life here, steal, from taking what is not given to looking wrongly, thus it is said, there is no remainder. There are no arhats in the world. I have realized, manifested, personally attained, and completely known the correct going to the other world and this world, and the correct entering. My life is exhausted, I practice celibacy, what had to be done has been done, all connections to existence are completely exhausted. The true teaching is very pure.
