This perception is discrimination, suffering, fruit, and disease. Why? Because I must abandon the perception of consciousness that I know. Having thought thus, he also abandons the perception of emptiness and also abandons the perception of consciousness. He does not attend to anything. At that time, he is in a state of non-perception. If this has happened before, it is a samadhi common to ordinary beings. Likewise, consciousness is suffering, fruit, and disease. Why? Because I must attend to nothingness. What is nothing? All perceptions, self, or what belongs to self are non-existent. Therefore, I must abandon self and perception, which is nirvana. Where does one attend to nirvana? In that place, some abide in the fruit of stream-entry, and some abide up to the fruit of Arhatship. This is common to ordinary beings, in accordance with the true dharani, arising from the sixth place of liberation. Again, someone thinks thus: I shall abide in the order of samadhi of consciousness with a mind that is extremely pure and without any defilements. Having thought thus, he abides in the mind of nothingness in a non-discriminating manner. Where does one attend to the perception of impermanence? In that place, he manifests the fruit of stream-entry up to the manifestation of Arhatship. This is uncommon to ordinary beings, in accordance with the true forbearance dharani, arising from the seventh place of liberation. Again, someone thinks thus: I shall completely abandon the consciousness of nothingness in all ways, perfect the realm of neither perception nor non-perception, and abide there. Having thought thus, he abandons all realms of nothingness, attends to the realm of neither perception nor non-perception, and does not know correctly, does not cultivate extremely, does not bless, does not meditate, does not practice. This is uncommon to ordinary beings, in accordance with the true dharani, arising from the liberation of

Chapter Eight. Therefore, it will abandon all attachment to desire and all attachment to form, as well as attachment to shape, attachment to touch, and all attachment to the peak of non-liberation. For the noble ones, there will be nothing left. For ordinary people, it will decline, and due to conditions, they will be born again and become the cause of falling into the lower realms. This is a Dharani mantra that is in accordance with the truth, with its root and expansion, which the Tathagata Campaka color (campaka) personally bestowed upon me from the hands of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Essence of the Power of the Sun (Nyima'i Shugs kyi Nyingpo), possessing great power and great benefit. This great assembly has given faith and generosity to what I have said. It completely exhausts all attachment to desire, as well as all attachment to form, all attachment to the formless realm, as well as all pride, excessive pride, and all pride that is even greater than pride, completely exhausts all jealousy, all seeking, all greed, all arrogance, all ignorance, as well as the view of the aggregates as a self, doubt, holding to precepts and vows as supreme, as well as all views of permanence, views of annihilation, views of sentient beings, views of life, views of nourishment, views of personhood, as well as all views of the agent and the experiencer, as well as all views of form, up to all views of touch, as well as all views of birth, and all views of the great elements, it fully understands, up to making all aggregates, realms, and sources free from dust, and it reveals all the bliss of liberation. Through this sequence, it subdues the maras, defeats the nagas, makes the gods rejoice, satisfies the yakshas, completely destroys the asuras, terrifies the garudas, makes the kinnaras generate faith, frightens the mahoragas, tames the tirthikas, and makes the royal families manifest joy.

, causing the Brahmins to enter, causing the Jews to rejoice, causing the common people to be exceedingly happy, causing women to be free from desire, causing the learned to be weary, causing the practitioners of yoga to manifest joy, completely pacifying all diseases, strife and, quarrels and, famine and, disease and, untimely foreign armies and, untimely winds and, rain and, rivers and, cold and, warmth and, snow and, heat and, roughness and, tastelessness and, things difficult to touch are all completely pacified, causing the principle of Dharma to blaze, causing the lineage of the Three Jewels to be unbroken, proclaiming the Buddha's teachings, causing those who fear samsara to breathe a sigh of relief, generating the knowledge of cessation, realizing the knowledge of non-arising, completely destroying the aggregates of ignorance, abandoning all suffering, this is the patience that accords with the truth. When this teaching was proclaimed, countless immeasurable gods and humans there obtained the Dharma-eye free from Dharma-dust and free from defilement, free from the afflictions of proximity. At that time, ninety-six trillion people, without taking, their minds were completely liberated from the outflows. At that time, eighty hundred thousand kotis of people obtained this dharani mantra that accords with the truth. At that time, Countless immeasurable sentient beings generated the mind of unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, and also became irreversible. Thirty-two thousand people obtained patience with regard to non-arising dharmas. Gods and, nagas and, yakshas and, rakshasas and, asuras and, garudas and, kinnaras and, mahoragas and, pretas and, kumbhandas and, flesh-eaters and, all humans and non-humans said "Excellent," Venerable Bhagavan, what you have said is good. The unobstructed wisdom vision of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, is wonderful! Who would not generate desire for this unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment? Thus it is.
