By remembering the heap of bones, the happiness of body and mind truly arises. Thinking that I must abandon it, from this arises eye consciousness up to mind consciousness, which vanishes with the aspect of arising and ceasing. This is the third happiness of abiding in the visible Dharma of higher mind, which is obtained without fault, obtained without difficulty, and obtained without being bad. Furthermore, one thinks like this: I must abide in the aspect of arising, ceasing, self-nature purity, no self-nature, and tranquility of all Dharmadhatu. Why? Thinking that all the characteristics of the mind abide in the aspect of tranquility. Therefore, the aspect of all the characteristics of the mind is tranquil, and the mind abides in tranquility. This is the fourth happiness of abiding in the visible Dharma of higher mind, which is obtained without fault, obtained without difficulty, and obtained without effort. One who possesses these four Dharmas of higher mind sees eighty-four kotis of the doors of Samadhi. Therefore, one will abide in the fruit of non-returner up to the fruit of Arhat. That Bhikshu is liberated from the division of the two, and has great power and ability. Kauṇḍinya, if all sentient beings had the same behavior, the same faith, and the same intention, it would not be like this, because the intentions of sentient beings are different. Therefore, the Tathagata teaches the Dharma with different words, Dharma doors, instructions, and expressions. The Blessed One taught sentient beings with different and inverted perceptions: Whether it is your impermanent perception, or the perception of suffering, or the perception of no-self, or the perception of swelling, or the perception of decay, or the perception of blue-green, or the perception of being eaten, or the perception of being scattered, the meaning of all these is explained here. The all-knowing Kauṇḍinya said: Blessed One, how should one cultivate the perception of non-joy?

And how to do it? Please explain how to cultivate the perception of unsuitability of food. The Blessed One said: Kaundinya, it is possible. In order to attain the bliss of liberation in this field, practicing the Dharma in accordance with the Dharma is also different. In those worlds, for the sake of sentient beings attaining the bliss of liberation, the minds of sentient beings who practice the Dharma in accordance with the Dharma also enter into different realms, and are the realization of other actions and other unions. Kaundinya, if I were to say, then such a principle, except for those who have entered into those who can fully understand without fault and the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, any other sentient beings would be completely confused about this. Kaundinya said this: Venerable Blessed One, please explain the perception of displeasure with all the worlds and the perception of unsuitability of food. Venerable One, please explain the Sugata. Hearing this, sentient beings will generate various roots of virtue. Those sentient beings who are obscured by ignorance, those who have the union of craving, those who are bound by the fall of craving, and those who run and wander in samsara, their past limits are invisible, and they are very happy there. What is the reason for this? Because of the cause of the union of food and the union associated with sexuality. Because they have not heard such a Dharma, they are immersed in the cycle of the five paths and are always oppressed by suffering. The Blessed One is the one who wishes all sentient beings happiness, and is the one who has attained compassion and great compassion for all sentient beings, so, Venerable Blessed One, the Tathagata Wisdom Splendor Accumulation King, for the benefit of many beings, and for the benefit of the gods and humans, please fully explain all the meanings of the Dharani mantra that is entrusted without aspiration and in accordance with it. Venerable Blessed One, please explain the perception of displeasure with all the worlds. Hearing this, sentient beings will be freed from desires.

Venerable Bhagavan, please explain the perception of unsuitability of food. Hearing this, those beings who are immersed in taste will be transformed. Those beings who perceive faults in desires and faults in tastes will be regarded as joyful and pure, beyond samsara, and liberated from the bonds of existence. The Bhagavan said: Kaundinya, it is just so. Just as you have spoken, just as the Bodhisattva Light of Auspicious Essence has stated the mindfulness to me, I shall declare the perception of complete displeasure to all the world in the presence of gods and other beings. I shall also declare the perception of unsuitability of food. Kaundinya, therefore, listen. From 'you should listen' to the Bhagavan's thus declaring. Kaundinya, what is the world in which complete displeasure should arise? There are two worlds: the world of sentient beings and the world of formations. What is the world of sentient beings? The term 'sentient beings' refers to those who are born in the five realms, namely hell beings, animals, hungry ghosts, gods, and humans. In the desire realm, there are twenty manifested existences. In the form realm, there are sixteen. In the formless realm, there are four manifested existences. The world of sentient beings is just that. What are the twenty manifested existences of the desire realm? The eight great hells, each with sixteen attendants. What are the eight? Reviving at the time, having sixteen attendants; Black Line; Crushing; Crying; Great Crying; Burning; Extremely Burning; and the Hell of Uninterrupted Suffering, having sixteen attendants. Any sentient beings who, through the cause of misconduct by body, speech, and mind, are born there or will be born there, will experience intense, unbearable, and severe painful feelings. There, whatever form they see with their eyes, they see as unpleasant, not pleasant.
