It should be done like this: all of us should sit cross-legged on the ground, and each of us should abide in patience, dharani, samadhi, and yoga, which are endowed with all kinds of excellence, without fail. Then, at that time, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who will surely appear after hundreds of kalpas, and those who are in the ten bhumis, and those who abide in the tolerance of non-origination of dharmas, and those who are skilled in the wisdom of the eighteen unshared dharmas of the Buddha, independent of others, and those who have attained fearlessness, all of them sat cross-legged on this earth. Similarly, they were all equally established in various excellent patience, dharani, and samadhi. Also, at that time, just as the power of merit is, by the power of the cause of harmonious causes, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who were equally established, and some of those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who were meditating, emitted such light from their bodies, like the light of a lamp. Some were like meteors. Some were like Indra. Some were like Brahma, the lord of the Sahā world, and some were like the moon. Some were like the sun. Some were like two suns. Some were like three suns. Some were like five suns. Some were like a thousand suns. Some emitted light from their bodies like a hundred thousand kotis of suns, so that the entire Buddha-field of the Sahā world was pervaded by such great light, which had never been seen or heard before. From their bodies emanated contact with the physical and mental happiness of other sentient beings, making them joyful and satisfied, pacifying all diseases, pacifying all wrong views, pacifying all bad physical conditions, pacifying all hunger and thirst, pacifying all desires, pacifying all anger and fear.

以及一切烦恼和束缚都完全寂灭的光芒出现，在这个佛土中，三有（三界）监狱的痛苦和恐惧都完全寂灭。那时，这个佛土中的一切众生，都安住于皈依佛，皈依佛法，以及善于欢喜僧众功德之中。又在那时，这个佛土在十方恒河沙数般的佛土中，无论是空性的还是非空性的，无论是完全清净的还是非完全清净的，都完全显现出光明、闪耀、明亮，就像夜晚黑暗降临时，月亮和成百上千的太阳升起时那样光明、闪耀、明亮。同样，那时娑婆世界的佛土，也在十方恒河沙数般的佛土中，无论是空性的还是非空性的，无论是完全清净的还是非完全清净的，都完全、极度地光明、闪耀、明亮。然后，那些佛土中的菩萨摩诃萨们，无论是已经存在的，还是经过百劫必定出现的，还是精通十八不共佛法，不依赖他者的智慧，获得无畏的，都以佛陀的神力从那里出发，以一刹那的心念进入这个佛土，如其所应地在地上结跏趺坐。同样，那些各自精勤于善法方面，并获得增长善法力量者，以及具备无畏之因和缘者，他们的身体中也生起了同样的光芒。然后，世尊被比丘僧团围绕，对大声闻们说道：你们看看禅定境界的力量吧！以加持力的缘故，压倒了一切魔的境界和一切龙的境界，过去的一切如来都在这里开示佛法，三宝的传承不会断绝。

And light arose that completely pacified all afflictions and all bonds. In this Buddha-field, all the fears of suffering in the prison of the three existences were completely pacified. At that time, all beings in this Buddha-field were established in taking refuge in the Buddha, taking refuge in the Dharma, and being skilled in delighting in the qualities of the Sangha. Furthermore, at that time, this Buddha-field, among the Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges in the ten directions, whether empty or not empty, whether completely pure or not completely pure, completely appeared luminous, radiant, and bright, just as when darkness descends at night, the moon and hundreds of thousands of suns rise, making it luminous, radiant, and bright. Likewise, at that time, the Buddha-field of this Sahā world also became completely and supremely luminous, radiant, and bright among the Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges in the ten directions, whether empty or not empty, whether completely pure or not completely pure. Then, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas in those Buddha-fields, whether they already existed, or were certain to appear after hundreds of kalpas, or were skilled in the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, in wisdom independent of others, and had attained fearlessness, departed from there by the power of the Buddha, and with a single moment of mind, entered this Buddha-field and sat cross-legged on the ground as was appropriate. Similarly, those who diligently applied themselves to their respective virtuous practices and had obtained the power to increase virtue, and those who possessed the causes and conditions for fearlessness, light of the same kind arose from their bodies. Then, the Bhagavan, surrounded by the Sangha of monks, spoke to the great Shravakas: "Look at the power of the realm of meditation! By the power of blessing, it has subdued the realm of all demons and the realm of all nagas. All the Tathagatas of the past have taught the Dharma here, and the lineage of the Three Jewels will not be broken."

的缘故，为了使之显明，才使这个娑婆世界的佛土全部被享用。同样地，现在无数不可胜数、无量无数的恒河沙数菩萨摩诃萨们，具有禅定和神通的境界，为了使娑婆世界的佛土长久住持佛法，为了使之显明，为了使天、龙、夜叉、阿修罗、迦楼罗、紧那罗、摩睺罗伽、人以及不信的人非人等生起信心，为了使有信心的人增长信心，为了使众生精进于佛法，为了使安住于佛法的人，为了使具有功德的人，为了使心自在的人们感受安乐，为了使他们没有障碍，为了使我的教法不被摧毁，为了使圆满菩提的安乐，所以才使这个大地上的一切都被享用。为了加持这个意义，因此菩萨摩诃萨们以禅定的境界而游戏。无论在哪个地方，菩萨摩诃萨们安住并以禅定的境界游戏，在现在和未来，有些人会因为害怕轮回的恐怖而想要涅槃，他们会建造舍利塔，或者建造佛殿，或者建造佛像，或者建造法殿。或者在那里写成经卷，从而持有我的法身。在那里也会做各种各样的供养，在那里也会供养各种各样的珍宝，例如：黄金、白银、吠琉璃、水晶、红珍珠、宝石的精华、珊瑚、宝珠、珍珠、绿松石、海螺、玛瑙、珊瑚等等，以及丝绸、铃铛等。

For the sake of, and for the sake of making it clear, this Buddha-field of the Saha world is made to be fully utilized. Similarly, now countless, immeasurable, and countless Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, who possess the realm of meditation and supernormal knowledge, in this Buddha-field of the Saha world, for the sake of the Dharma to abide for a long time, for the sake of making it clear, and for the sake of making gods, dragons, yakshas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans, and non-believing non-humans have faith, for the sake of increasing the faith of those who have faith, for the sake of sentient beings who are diligent in the Dharma, for the sake of those who abide in the Dharma, for the sake of those who are rich in virtues, and for the sake of those who have mastery over their minds to experience happiness and to be without obstacles, for the sake of my teachings not being destroyed, and for the sake of perfecting the bliss of enlightenment, this great earth has been made to be fully utilized. In order to bless this meaning, therefore, Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas play with the realm of meditation. Wherever Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas abide and play with the realm of meditation, there, in the present and in the future, some will be afraid of the terror of samsara and desire nirvana, they will cause stupas of relics to be built, or build Buddha halls, or build Buddha images, or build Dharma halls. Or there, having written it into scriptures, they will also hold my Dharmakaya. There also various kinds of offerings will be made, and there also various kinds of precious things will be offered, such as: gold, silver, beryl, crystal, red pearl, the essence of gems, coral, jewels, pearls, turquoise, conch shells, agate, coral, and so on, as well as silk, bells, and so on.
