To say without attachment to one thing is to say as if it were immovable. To say without distinction is to say as if it were immovable. To say that the mind abides purely in one place is to say as if it were immovable. To say that all that is said is unspeakable is to say as if it were immovable. Then, the Bodhisattva Practice-less, in order to make many sentient beings understand the distinctions, again asked the Buddha: How should it be said if it is unspeakable? Should it be said as if it were immovable? The Buddha said to the Bodhisattva Practice-less: Son of good family, the nature of all dharmas is emptiness, so it is liberation and cannot be spoken. All dharmas have no form, so liberation from form cannot be spoken, it is unspeakable. All dharmas have no action and no movement, so the liberation of inaction cannot be spoken. Son of good family, the liberation is spoken in this way, because that kind of speaking is also unspeakable, so it is called speaking as if it were immovable. The Bodhisattva Practice-less asked the Buddha: World Honored One, if the Dharma is spoken in that way, then how should it be said that the mind is upright and complete? The Buddha said to the Bodhisattva Practice-less: What is called an upright mind is to say that practicing an upright mind and believing in the teachings of the Tathagata is not speaking like my mind. What is called complete is that the teachings of the ten virtues are complete, the teachings of the four truths are complete, the teachings of the twelve causes and conditions are complete, the teachings of the six perfections are complete, and the teachings of liberation are complete. If such dharmas are complete, then I say one mind, in the only place of the Buddha's essence, saying that it is uniquely pure and equal, then its name is said to be complete, called speaking as if it were immovable. Why should we know? Because all dharmas are said to be uniquely complete. The Bodhisattva makes the Dharma uniquely pure and equal. For example, in the water of a great lake, there are various kinds of precious jewels, and finding them is as desired, just like this. Also, for example, there is a medicine called the magic medicine

Mixing various things together, if all diseases can be cured, just like taking medicine, everything will be healed. If the heart is pure and equal, then the mind will also become pure. The Buddha's nature will also become pure. The types of Dharma will also become pure. If it is equal, then the types of Dharma will also be equal. To speak like this is to speak purely. To speak like others is to speak with defilement. Why should we know this? Because all sentient beings have the nature of the Buddha. There is no one who does not have the nature of the Buddha, only differences in feeling close or distant. Like the root seed, to those with the capacity for the Lesser Vehicle, teach the Dharma of the Lesser Vehicle; to those with wrong views, teach the Dharma of wrong views. That name is called distorting the path of the Buddha's Dharma, that is, teaching the Buddha's nature and teaching that there is no Buddha's body. A person who teaches the Dharma in that way will fall into the hells of sentient beings for hundreds of thousands of millions of kalpas, and even if the Buddha comes into the world, they will not be able to be liberated. Even if they are liberated and reborn as humans, they will be born in remote areas, becoming the lowest of people, obtaining a body like that of a person with deformed lips and no tongue. Why should we know this? Because the Bodhisattva, the nature of sentient beings, is the nature of Dharma, and the nature of Dharma is eternally pure and possesses all kinds of true and complete good qualities. It is not obtained from the outside, nor will it be lost, it will not arise, nor will it disappear, the nature is the eternal and true truth, there are no false illusions, no disturbances of sorrow, and no nirvana, no increase or decrease, eternally pure, the complete purity of the nature is Bodhi itself. The nature of purity and the nature of Bodhi are completely one, there is no duality. Purity is abandonment, the strokes of letters and the path of words are also cut off. For example, like the sky, both inside and outside are pure. The only purity neither dwells inside nor outside, nor in the middle, there is no speaking, and no telling. If so, then differentiate the prescriptions for diseases from within it. If there is no differentiation, then that is the wisdom of differentiation. Kind.
