盟誓。 善于来世行事，守护正法，使三宝的血脉不绝，不断增长，总之，如世尊所说，对于那些人等，以恭敬之心听闻并受持三乘之法，永不隐瞒，对于安住于三乘之人，极力守护并供养，不作损害，对于三宝的财物，极力守护，不使损耗，从善国王种姓到善婆罗门之间，我们眷属都守护、救护他们，也使这十种法增长广大。 何为十种？即寿命增长，无障碍增长，无疾病增长，眷属增长，财富珍宝增长，生活资具增长，地位增长，名声增长，善友增长，智慧增长。 僧众世尊，如果善国王种姓和善婆罗门之间，完全舍弃十种罪恶之轮，并且劝说其他人也舍弃，具备前面所说的功德，那么我也守护、救护他们，也使这十种法增长广大。 世尊，此外，善国王种姓和善婆罗门之间，如果具备前面所说的那些功德，那么我们眷属都守护、救护他们，并且使他们完全远离这十种法。 何为十种？即完全远离一切仇敌怨恨，完全远离不悦意的色、声、香、味、触之境，完全远离一切瘟疫疾病，完全远离一切邪见恶见，完全远离皈依邪道，完全远离一切邪恶预兆，完全远离一切邪恶行为之物，完全远离一切邪恶友伴，安住于家

Oath. Skilled in acting for the future world, protecting the sacred Dharma, ensuring that the lineage of the Three Jewels is not severed and continues to grow, in short, as the Blessed One said, for those people and others, listening to and upholding the Dharma of the three vehicles with reverence, never concealing it, for those who abide in the three vehicles, diligently protecting and offering to them, not causing harm, for the wealth and possessions of the Three Jewels, diligently protecting them, not allowing them to be depleted, from virtuous royal lineages to virtuous Brahmins, we and our retinue will protect and safeguard them, and also cause these ten kinds of Dharma to grow and increase. What are the ten? Namely, longevity increases, absence of obstacles increases, absence of disease increases, retinue increases, wealth and jewels increase, livelihood provisions increase, status increases, fame increases, virtuous friends increase, and wisdom increases. Monks, Blessed One, if among virtuous royal lineages and virtuous Brahmins, they completely abandon the ten wheels of sin and advise others to abandon them as well, possessing the aforementioned qualities, then I too will protect and safeguard them, and also cause these ten kinds of Dharma to grow and increase. Blessed One, furthermore, if among virtuous royal lineages and virtuous Brahmins, they possess those aforementioned qualities, then we and our retinue will protect and safeguard them, and also cause them to be completely separated from these ten kinds of Dharma. What are the ten? Namely, completely separated from all enemies and hatred, completely separated from unpleasant forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile objects, completely separated from all plagues and diseases, completely separated from all wrong views and evil views, completely separated from taking refuge in wrong paths, completely separated from all evil omens, completely separated from all objects of evil actions, completely separated from all evil companions, abiding in the home

Completely separated from all mud and filth, and completely separated from all untimely and sudden deaths. Venerable Bhagavan, if anyone from an extremely virtuous royal family to a virtuous Brahmin possesses the qualities previously mentioned, we and our retinue will protect and save him, and also enable him to obtain these ten kinds of completely separated dharmas. Bhagavan, furthermore, from a virtuous royal family to a virtuous Brahmin, whoever diligently strives to perfect the qualities previously mentioned, we and our retinue will protect and save him. The king and his retinue, as well as all the people living in that country, will also be completely separated from these ten kinds of dharmas. What are the ten? Completely separated from all enemies of foreign lands, separated from all enemies of our own land, completely separated from all inauspicious pretas, completely separated from drought, completely separated from harmful rain, completely separated from untimely heat, cold, wind, heavy rain, frost, hail, and all harmful things, completely separated from all evil stars and bad omens, completely separated from all calamities of famine, completely separated from untimely death due to illness, and completely separated from all wrong views and evil views. Venerable Bhagavan, if a virtuous king of the royal family diligently and perfectly accomplishes all those qualities previously mentioned, we and our retinue will protect and save him. The king and his retinue, as well as all the people living in that country, will also obtain these ten kinds of completely separated dharmas. Then, the Bhagavan, from the king of the gods and his retinue to the king of the flesh-eaters, praised all the retinue, saying, "Excellent! Excellent! These things that you have vowed to do are what you should do, and by this cause and condition, you will also obtain long-term benefit and happiness." Then, the great Brahma, the essence of the gods, also said to the Bhagavan, "In times when there are no Buddhas,
