As she was being dressed, her body emitted a radiance far surpassing the moon, appearing with a golden hue. Then, her parents named her Chandra Shrestha (ཟླ་མཆོག). Thereafter, the maiden Chandra Shrestha appeared in an instant, a brief moment, as if she were an eight-year-old girl. Wherever she stood, walked, sat, or lay down, golden rays of light would appear. From every pore of her skin emanated the fragrance of the finest sandalwood, and from her mouth came the scent of blue lotuses. Then, the merchants, householders, princes, and other high-born and noble individuals of the city of Vaishali (ཡངས་པ་ཅན) heard of the perfect form and color of the maiden Chandra Shrestha. Having heard this, their minds were intensely consumed by desire, and each thought to themselves, "How wonderful it would be if she were to become my wife!" Then, many people became diligent in their efforts to obtain her. Some of them relied on the renowned Licchavi Immaculate Ones (ལིཙྪ་བཱི་དྲི་མ་མེད་པར་གྲགས་པ་), relying on them and showing them reverence. Some gave countless jewels, gold, silver, diamonds, beryl, musala gems, andanila gems, conch shells, cat's eye gems, and coral, a myriad of each, to generate desire. Some offered wealth, grain, houses, possessions, and food. Some showed fear by killing, imprisoning, and beating slaves, servants, laborers, and those who lived on wages. Some said to the renowned Licchavi Immaculate Ones, "If you do not offer us the maiden Chandra Shrestha, we will cause you suffering and inflict great harm upon you." Then, the renowned Licchavi Immaculate Ones thought, "If armies were to come, seize me, and destroy me, and also steal the maiden and separate me from my life..."

心想难道要被夺走了吗？于是变得恐惧、害怕，身体瘫软，毛发竖立。他失去了记忆，为别人的死亡而痛哭流涕，眼睛不眨地看着女儿月 श्रेष्ठ。女儿月 श्रेष्ठ看到自己的父亲在哭泣，脸上沾满了泪水，变得憔悴。看到后，对他说：父亲，您为什么这样哭泣，还让眼泪不停地流淌呢？这时，以无垢而闻名的离车毗对女儿月 श्रेष्ठ说：女儿，你不知道因为要抢夺你，所有的城市里都经常发生争吵和争端吗？因此军队聚集并摧毁，难道你不怕你被抢走吗？所以才流下了眼泪。然后，女儿月 श्रेष्ठ用偈颂对自己的父亲说：如果整个世界的众生，都获得了像无欲之子一样的精进，他们手持武器为我奔跑，那些人也无法摧毁我。对于具有慈悲心的人，毒药和武器都无法伤害。僵尸和其它的恐惧也不会发生。因为具有慈悲心，没有嗔恨，所以慈悲的心不会被他人伤害。父亲，我对世间具有伟大的慈悲心。像我这样的坏孩子，安住在对众生的喜悦中。因为我从未给别人带来痛苦，所以坏孩子我不会遭受痛苦，父亲。我没有贪恋，从未有过贪欲，完全修习了慈悲心，没有嗔恨。我没有贪恋、嗔恨和愚痴，所以坏孩子我是不会被他人战胜的，父亲。就像您和母亲对我具有慈悲心一样，我对所有的众生也总是如此。父亲，无论您对世间具有怎样的慈悲心，都不会被他人伤害。难道天空可以被抓住吗？或者须弥山可以安住在芥菜籽中吗？或者大海可以容纳在牛蹄印中吗？即使这样，也无法摧毁我，父亲。之后，女儿月 श्रेष्ठ说了这些偈颂，然后对自己的父母说：父亲、母亲，为了这件事，从现在开始七年后，女儿月 श्रेष्ठ将会回来，回来后

Thinking, 'Will she be taken away?' he became fearful and apprehensive, his body weakened, and his hair stood on end. He lost his memory, wept bitterly for the death of others, shedding tears, and gazed unblinkingly at his daughter Chandra Shrestha. Daughter Chandra Shrestha saw her father weeping, his face covered in tears, and becoming haggard. Seeing this, she said to him, 'Father, why do you weep like this, and cause tears to flow so profusely?' Then, the Lichchavi, renowned for his purity, said to his daughter Chandra Shrestha, 'Daughter, do you not know that because of the desire to seize you, quarrels and disputes constantly arise in all the cities? Therefore, armies gather and destroy. Are you not afraid that you will be taken away? That is why tears have come forth.' Then, Daughter Chandra Shrestha spoke to her father in verse: 'If all the sentient beings of the world were to attain the diligence of a son without desire, and they were to run wielding weapons for my sake, even those beings would not be able to destroy me. Poison and weapons cannot harm one who possesses loving-kindness. Neither zombies nor other fears will arise. Because of having loving-kindness and no hatred, a mind of loving-kindness will not be harmed by others. Father, I have great loving-kindness for the world. Like me, a wicked child, I abide in joy for beings. Because I have never caused suffering to others, therefore, I, a wicked child, will not experience suffering, Father. I am free from attachment, never having had desire, having fully cultivated loving-kindness, and having no hatred. I have no attachment, hatred, or ignorance, therefore, I, a wicked child, cannot be overcome by others, Father. Just as you and mother have loving-kindness for me, I am always the same towards all beings. Father, however much loving-kindness you have for the world, you will never be harmed by others. Could the sky be grasped? Or could Mount Meru reside within a mustard seed? Or could the great ocean fit within a cow's hoofprint? Even so, it would not be possible to destroy me, Father.' Then, after Daughter Chandra Shrestha spoke those verses, she said to her parents, 'Father, Mother, for that reason, from now, in seven years, Daughter Chandra Shrestha will return, and having returned'
