They honored and revered him, regarded him as their teacher, made paintings of him, and offered him worship. He resided in a great grove in the great city of Vaisali, in a multi-storied building. At that time, in the great city of Vaisali, there lived a wealthy man named Licchavi Stainless, who was rich, had much wealth, great enjoyment, many possessions, and many storehouses and cellars. He had a wife named Stainless Mother, who was beautiful, pleasing to behold, of good complexion, and endowed with supreme fullness. After nine months had passed, she gave birth to a daughter who was of good form, beautiful, pleasing to behold, and all of whose limbs and features were perfectly complete. As soon as the daughter was born, the entire house was filled with great light, and the great earth also shook violently. From all the bolts of the outer doors, butter and sesame oil dripped profusely, and whatever was helpless, without protection, destitute, and suffering, all enjoyed themselves as they pleased. In the great city of Vaisali, all the great drums, pottery drums, copper drums, cymbals, and hand drums sounded without being struck, and great showers of flowers also fell profusely. In the four corners of the house, four great treasures appeared, filled with various kinds of precious jewels, and they opened up and shone everywhere. As soon as the daughter was born, she did not utter a cry or shed tears, and especially, she joined her ten fingers in a palm, and at that time, she spoke these verses: Due to sinful deeds, one is not born here with a pure body, nor is it a pleasing one. Due to sinful deeds, one is not born here in wealthy families to enjoy riches. Giving, taming, proper discipline, and being mindful, and with reverence attending and honoring the guru, the nature of abundant karma always results in a household of great wealth. When the guide, the Victorious One, Light Protector (Kasyapa), entered the city of Vaisali for alms, I saw him from the top of the mansion, and having seen him, I remembered that my mind was pleased. At that time, my mind was greatly pleased, but I had no flowers, no unguents, no powdered incense, no food or drink, so how should I make offerings to this teacher?

Thinking. Then I heard the voice of the Buddha: "To liberate beings, acting without confusion, Out of compassion for the world, giving rise to compassion, The Buddha adorns the world for alms. If you want to worship those victors, To become a Buddha, you should receive prayers. Whoever has a stable Bodhicitta, There is no offering more superior than that, nor is there in the three realms." Hearing the sound in the void, I then Saw the Buddha adorned with excellent marks, For the sake of Bodhi, giving rise to an unwavering mind, From that house, I jumped out myself, After sitting in the void like a Tala tree, To the Buddhas residing in the ten directions, And the body of the Victorious Light Protector, I saw them like a mountain of jewels and Mount Meru. By the power of the Victor, in the palm of my hand, A large cluster of Mandarava flowers appeared, I scattered those flowers to the Light Protector, The flowers turned into umbrellas, staying in the sky. All the infinite Buddhas of the ten directions, Adorned with excellent marks, even if you look at them, Just like staying above the Light Protector, The flower umbrellas also appear above them. While staying in the sky, I spoke these words: "I should practice for as many eons as there are water droplets, Until I attain Bodhi, I will never turn back, May I become a Buddha, the chief of the two-legged." After hearing that lion's roar, At that time, twelve thousand were complete, Gods, humans, Asuras, Yakshas, Rakshasas, All truly entered the supreme Buddha Bodhi. After hearing, they were born as gods in the Thirty-Three Heavens, The results of good deeds were not in vain, After that, they died and were reborn in this Jambudvipa, Therefore, beings should do good deeds. When reborn in the Thirty-Three Heavens, I worshiped the Victorious Shakyamuni Buddha. I do not crave desires and enjoyment of the body, I should worship the Victor again and again. I saw the ripening of good deeds, Like passing a day, I can also remember hundreds of lifetimes. The glory of my birth here is also like this, Which wise person would not have reverence for the Victor?" After that, the girl spoke those verses and then remained silent. Due to the cause of the ripening of her previous good roots, precious silk heavenly clothes appeared on her body.
