All sentient beings, each and every one of them, crave for the happiness of gods, not humans, in this world. If they possess what kind of happiness, the protector of the world will act beneficially. Wise ones diligently crave that happiness for all sentient beings to possess. They constantly crave that all sentient beings may be victorious. Because of such craving, therefore, they are called cravers. When the sacred Dharma is destroyed, the powerful ones will restrain it well. They abandon their own happiness, but do not abandon the Dharma and sentient beings. They are contrary to all the world and disagree with all sentient beings. In order to make everything harmonious, they show the intention to harm others. Whether they contend for eons, or contend for billions of eons, they will not abandon the sacred Dharma, nor will they ever turn back again. Those who are brave in wrong views are equal to all conditioned things. They know very well the wrong views, and also realize the aspect of right view. Those who possess such Dharma abide in the precepts. Having established themselves in the unestablished, the wise will realize the fruit of enlightenment. Then, the venerable Subhuti gave that alms to that son of a noble family, saying, "Such noble men do not allow the alms given by faith to fall into wrong places." Then, the venerable Subhuti, after eating his meal, after the time of the meal, rose from his seat in solitary retreat, went to where the Blessed One was, and having arrived, prostrated to the Blessed One's feet with his head touching the ground, and explained all that had happened to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said to Subhuti, "Subhuti, do you know who that Bodhisattva is?" He replied, "Blessed One, I do not know." The Blessed One said, "Subhuti, that Bodhisattva Mahasattva is called Transformation of Women, who is skilled in the means of establishing joy and happiness, and tames all sentient beings. Subhuti, for example, if a cart is filled with mustard seeds, and in the country of Magadha, there are twenty kotis of measures, if one mustard seed is discarded every day for a hundred years, counting in this way, one can quickly know the boundary of the mustard seeds in that cart.

The Bodhisattva, transforming into a female body, is skilled in the means of establishing joy, and in this Saha world, causes sentient beings to fully mature into unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment, and establishes many sentient beings in the states of gods and humans, and not only that. Then, that woman, surrounded by five hundred women, walking in front, came from the great city of Rajagriha to Vulture Peak Mountain, and went to where the Blessed One was. The Blessed One saw that woman coming from afar. Having seen her, he said to the venerable Subhuti: "Subhuti, do you see these five hundred or so women coming?" He replied: "Blessed One, I see them." The Blessed One said: "All of these are Bodhisattvas, transforming into female bodies, skilled in the means of establishing joy, having been fully matured, and established in unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment." Then, that woman, surrounded by five hundred women, went to where the Blessed One was, and having arrived, bowed her head at the feet of the Blessed One, and sat to one side. Then, the venerable Subhuti greeted that woman and paid homage with folded hands. Then, the venerable Shariputra said these words to the venerable Subhuti: "Venerable Subhuti, why do you pay homage to a woman who has not attained the noble Dharma and does not abide in the body of a noble being?" That woman said: "Venerable Shariputra, if there are noble beings in the world, who are they? If you know who are not noble beings, please speak boldly!" The venerable Shariputra said: "Well then, do you know who are noble beings and who are not noble beings in the world?" She replied: "Venerable Shariputra, I know." He said: "What are they?" She replied: "Venerable Shariputra, those who do not cut off the lineage of the noble ones are the noble ones. Those who do not cut off the lineage of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha are the noble ones. Those who have a loving heart towards the noble ones and desire liberation for the non-noble ones are the noble ones. Venerable
