A son of the gods of the earth made the path to the Snow Mountain King invisible and showed the path to the Lotus Palace, and also contemplated where the Brahmin boy who sows clouds and the maiden Good Acquisition were. Then, the Brahmin boy saw the Lotus Palace decorated with silk ribbons, flowers spread all over, and the incense burners emitting fragrant smoke, and asked: Why is this great city so conspicuously decorated? Then, the palace attendants of the Lotus Palace said to the Brahmin boy Cloud: Brahmin boy, have you not heard? The Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, named Dīpaṃkara (梵文：Dīpaṃkara，梵文天城体：दीपांकर，梵文罗马拟音：dīpaṃkara，字面意思：The Lamp Maker) has appeared in the world. King Ajatashatru invited him, and because he came here, this great city has been so conspicuously decorated. Then, the Brahmin boy Cloud thought: Among us Brahmins, those who are clear and knowledgeable in all the scriptures are rare, let alone the appearance of such precious sentient beings in the world? I must buy some flowers with these five hundred goods and make offerings to the Tathagata. So he searched for flowers everywhere, but found nothing. The palace attendants of the Lotus Palace said: Brahmin boy, have you not heard? King Ajatashatru has decreed: All the flowers must be used to make offerings to the Tathagata Dīpaṃkara (梵文：Dīpaṃkara，梵文天城体：दीपांकर，梵文罗马拟音：dīpaṃkara，字面意思：The Lamp Maker). Therefore, no one is allowed to buy or sell flowers. If anyone buys or sells, I will punish him severely. The girl said: She has never heard or seen that those Utpala flowers that have already been picked can be reborn. Said: Girl, just planting them will grow such a field of merit. Then, the Brahmin boy Cloud thought to himself: I live in a monastery and a very secluded place, and women are frivolous, flirtatious, and obstruct the roots of virtue, what will this woman do?
