All those who have nowhere to go have entered into darkness, may it illuminate the darkness of those suffering people, and pacify the suffering of extreme heat in the body. The lotus feet are adorned with the auspicious sign of a thousand-spoked wheel, even and smooth, with long fingers connected by webs like the feet of a swan, and nails adorned like a well-polished mirror. Like flowers in full bloom, the lotus stems are unseen, and the shanks are like bamboo and the legs of the mountain deer Inayena, with a wondrous gait slowly approaching the Vajra seat at the heart of enlightenment, the seat of the lion of Dharma, may it press down firmly to utterly destroy the Maras, so I pray. There is also a subsequent verse for this: By this giving of the feet, with the wheel-marked soles of the feet, upon the excellent seat at the heart of enlightenment, may it press down firmly and steadily. By this giving of the feet, may I, upon the excellent seat at the heart of enlightenment, sit and subdue the Maras, their hosts and armies, together with their mounts. So, how does one strive to practice the giving of the palms of the hands? Son of good family, the Bodhisattva should think thus: The giving of the palms of the hands is the supreme expression of the Bodhisattvas giving the hand of Dharma to all sentient beings, I must give the giving of the palms of the hands. When giving the giving of the palms of the hands, one should make aspirations as the Thus-Gone One knows: By this giving of the palms of the hands, may I give the hand of Dharma to inferior beings, the blind, the hungry and thirsty, the unprotected, the suffering, the poor, those who have nowhere to go, those who have no refuge, those who have no friends, and to sentient beings in hell, the realm of animals, the world of Yama, those who have fallen into evil paths and evil destinies, and those born in unfavorable circumstances. There is also a subsequent verse for this: By the giving of the palms of the hands, may I quickly become a guide, holding jewels in my hands, with long hands and golden color, may I become an object of veneration in the world. Oppressed by compassion, praising the hand of Dharma, may the body be liberated from all evil destinies.

Those who are, may I always give. Then, how to strive to completely give the alms of ears and nose? Son of good family, the Bodhisattva thinks like this: The alms of giving ears and nose is the supreme word for the Bodhisattvas to have complete and perfect senses. I must give the alms of ears and nose. When he gives the alms of ears and nose, like the aspiration established by the Tathagata, by this alms of giving ears and nose, may I make all sentient beings have all senses. He makes such a wish. Therefore, there is this saying: By giving ears and nose, may all living beings have all senses, and may all limbs be complete. By giving ears and nose, wherever they are born, they will be beautiful in appearance and good in form, and people will be equally beautiful. Then, how to strive for the alms of eyes? Son of good family, the Bodhisattva thinks like this: The alms of eyes is the supreme word for the Bodhisattvas to have unobstructed and completely pure Dharma eyes. I must give the alms of eyes. When he gives the alms of eyes, like the pure wish made by the Tathagata, by this alms of eyes, may I make the Dharma eyes of all sentient beings unobstructed and completely pure. Therefore, there are also the following words: By this alms of eyes, after I attain enlightenment to the unsurpassed Bodhi, may I make the Dharma eyes of all sentient beings,

Son of good family, the Bodhisattva thinks thus: 'The giving of completely giving away the head is the supreme word of the Bodhisattvas for obtaining the supreme all-knowing wisdom that surpasses all three realms. I must definitely give the giving of completely giving away the head.' When he gives the giving of completely giving away the head, like the prayer that arises as a condition of the Tathagatas, 'By this giving of completely giving away the head, may I cause all sentient beings to surpass the three realms and attain the supreme all-knowing wisdom.' He makes this prayer. There is also a subsequent verse: 'By giving away the head completely, whatever merit I have, by that may all sentient beings attain the unwavering state of omniscience.' Next, how does one strive for the giving of completely giving away the skin? Son of good family, the Bodhisattva thinks thus: 'The giving of completely giving away the skin is the supreme word of the Bodhisattvas for the skin to become soft, thin, and completely perfect like the color of gold. I must definitely give the giving of completely giving away the skin.' When he gives the giving of completely giving away the skin, like the prayer of the Tathagatas, 'By this giving of completely giving away the skin, may I cause the skin of all sentient beings to become soft, thin, and completely perfect like the color of gold.' He makes this prayer. There is also a subsequent verse: 'By giving away the skin completely, may I transform the skin born from the bodies of all embodied beings into soft, thin, golden color.' Next, how does one strive for the giving of completely giving away flesh and blood? Son of good family, the Bodhisattva thinks thus: 'The giving of completely giving away flesh and blood is the supreme word of the Bodhisattvas for taking the essence from all that is without essence. I must definitely give the giving of completely giving away flesh and blood.'
