Furthermore, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Paramita of Morality, if he truly sees some dharmas of the agent, then it should not be known that he abides in the dharma of the Bodhisattva, but rather he abandons the dharma of the Bodhisattva and acts with improper attention. What is that improper attention? It is called his immoral morality. Said: Venerable Sharadvatiputra, if a Bodhisattva does not see any dharmas of the agent, and has truly taken up the Paramita of Morality, then to which dharma does the Paramita of Morality benefit or harm? Said: Venerable Ganga, the Paramita of Morality does not benefit or harm any dharma. If one does not truly see that it benefits or harms some dharmas, then it should be known that the Bodhisattva is one who upholds morality supremely. If a Bodhisattva truly sees that this Paramita of Morality benefits or harms some dharmas, then the Bodhisattva does not completely uphold the Paramita of Morality. If one does not truly see the agent, then it is called the Bodhisattva's Paramita of Morality, and that morality is also called the Paramita of Morality because it is completely dedicated to omniscience. Venerable Ganga, furthermore, whatever the Bodhisattva gives away, he completely dedicates to omniscience, then it should be known that the Bodhisattva is endowed with morality. Venerable Ganga, furthermore, whatever morality the Bodhisattva protects, he also completely dedicates to omniscience, then it should be known that the Bodhisattva is endowed with morality. Venerable Ganga, furthermore, whether the Bodhisattva is reviled or beaten by others, he endures it, and also completely dedicates that endurance to omniscience, then it should be known that the Bodhisattva is endowed with morality. Venerable Ganga

Moreover, Bodhisattvas strive for the sake of other sentient beings and other people, and that effort is also completely directed towards all-knowingness. Bodhisattvas are called those who possess discipline. O long-lived one, moreover, whatever meditation a Bodhisattva generates, he should generate these meditations in the same way, and then accomplish supernormal powers. Through supernormal powers, one should enter and understand the mental conduct of sentient beings. Then one should think: to become a vessel. All these differences of mind are also completely directed towards all-knowingness. One should know that a Bodhisattva is one who possesses discipline. O long-lived one, moreover, whatever wisdom a Bodhisattva practices, whether he is skilled in aggregates, or skilled in elements, or skilled in sources, or skilled in dependent origination, or skilled in what is and is not, thinking: one should understand equality, and teach the Dharma in order to abandon all thoughts. Whatever arises from these minds is completely directed towards all-knowingness. One should know that a Bodhisattva is one who possesses discipline. One should know that he possesses unsurpassed discipline. If a Bodhisattva completely directs the six perfections towards all-knowingness, then for such a Bodhisattva, no Shravaka can surpass him with discipline. O long-lived one, moreover, if all sentient beings possess the ten paths of virtuous actions, then their discipline, even one percent of the discipline of a Bodhisattva who has just entered the Great Vehicle and has generated the first thought, cannot even approach the level of cause. O long-lived one, moreover, if all sentient beings possess the five supernormal powers, then their discipline, even one percent of the discipline of a Bodhisattva who has just entered the Great Vehicle and has generated the first thought, cannot even approach the level of cause. O long-lived one, moreover, if all sentient beings abide in loving-kindness, compassion, and joy

If they abide in equanimity, then their discipline does not even come close to one-hundredth of the discipline of a Bodhisattva who has first entered the Great Vehicle and generated the first thought, not even to its cause. Venerable one, furthermore, if all sentient beings possess forbearance that accords with emptiness, then their discipline does not even come close to one-hundredth of the discipline of a Bodhisattva who has first entered the Great Vehicle and generated the first thought, not even to its cause. Venerable one, furthermore, if all sentient beings possess forbearance that accords with the absence of characteristics, then their discipline does not even come close to one-hundredth of the discipline of a Bodhisattva who has first entered the Great Vehicle and generated the first thought, not even to its cause. Venerable one, furthermore, if all sentient beings possess forbearance that accords with the absence of wishes, then their discipline does not even come close to one-hundredth of the discipline of a Bodhisattva who has first entered the Great Vehicle and generated the first thought, not even to its cause. Venerable one, furthermore, if all sentient beings become the eighth, then their discipline does not even come close to one-hundredth of the discipline of a Bodhisattva who has first entered the Great Vehicle and generated the first thought, not even to its cause. Then, the Venerable Maitreya's son said to the Venerable Sharadvatiputra, "If the Venerable Sharadvatiputra opens the door to answering the questions I have asked, then I will ask the Venerable some questions." He said, "Venerable one, please ask, and I will explain the meaning of what has been heard." He said, "Venerable Sharadvatiputra, do you consider form to be the eighth?" He said, "Venerable one, that is not so." He said, "Are feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness the eighth?" He said, "Venerable one, that is not so.
